We loved our stay at the Carmel Tree House. It has a very peaceful atmosphere and is a great place to return back to after a fun and busy day in and around Carmel. The location is great as well. We were able to walk to the Village and the Beach and didn't have to hassle with finding a parking space. We hope to be fortunate enough to vacation in Carmel again and our first choice in booking a rental property would be the Carmel Tree House.

More "Carmel" charm than you bargined for!

We arrived mid afternoon to be pleasantly surprised by this house full of charm inside and out. There were really no amenties that were forgotten. This charming one bedroom, 3 story home is nestled in the trees not far from the downtown area. Big paned windows, hardwood floors, fireplace and an outstanding bathroom. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed our house to the fullest. I cant imagine there is another as charming.

Manhattan Beach Family

My wife and I, and our 2 children (ages 9 and 6) planned for a "road trip" to include a visit to the Monterey Aquarium, and sights around Carmel. Fortunately, in lieu of staying in a hotel in Monterey, we found the "Carmel TreeHouse" on VRBO and stayed there for 3 days. The home is a short walk from downtown Carmel and the ocean. This home is charming: a top floor (which has a quaint master bedroom), a bathroom on the landing on the middle floor, and a large living/sleeping area on the bottom floor, which was ideal for our 2 kids. This place is clean, sunny, and spacious. There is also a secluded back yard area, which ample seating for lounging in privacy. The TreeHouse is ideally located for day excursions to the Montery Aquarium, Pebble Beach, and Pt. Lobos (hiking), and the Carmel beachfront. The owner (MS) was extremely helpful and accomadating. The listing as described was accurate, although pictures and words cannot accurately describe the charm of this place! We would most highly recommend this place to anyone who has plans to stay in Carmel (or visit Monterey). Thanks to the owner of this place for providing us with such a great place to stay.

I have been vacationing in Carmel for years and have stayed in hotels, cottages, in-law units etc. The "Waterfall Treehouse" is by far the best accommodation I have found for a wonderful stay in Carmel. The best way to describe this unit is: I did not bother leaving the house the entire first day of our trip. With all the accommodations of home, I simply relaxed and read by the fire. With in walking distance to every thing, this house is the perfect size, price, and location for Carmel. Will definitely stay here again. Side Note: After a complete blunder on my part regarding the arrival date, the owner was extremely accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect.

Beautiful Setting & Much better than staying in a hotel!

My husband and I stayed here during the 2012 AT&T and the location was perfect. we could walk into Pebble via the Carmel gate of 17 mile drive and it only took about 5 minutes to get there. The house itself is beautifully done with a nice living & kitchen space, beautiful big bathhroom (with separate heater to keep it toasty!), and the upstairs bedroom has a comfortable bed with the TV and nice views out the windows. Lower deck area is large and tranquil and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Owners were very easy to work with. Thanks for sharing your home with us. CCE & DE from Elk Grove, CA

My husband and I spent two fabulous weeks here in August. The house looked just as it appears on the website - charming and very cozy. Everything was spotless and we were delighted to find roses, coffee, juice, wine and chocolates to welcome us! The owner couldn't have been nicer - just a pleasure to deal with. The location is excellent - an easy walk to town or the beach. We can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your lovely home. It was everything we could've asked for, and more. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bathroom was well appointed. If it was cooler we would've used the fireplace...too bad. I also enjoyed sitting in the courtyard upstairs. If I come back to carmel i will ask for this place first!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Waterfall Treehouse. The location is superb. A short walk to everything that is Carmel… Ocean Ave, the beach, 17 mile… everything on the doorstep in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. We also loved the extra touches that made it all so special, including our host's unique artwork. The random play selection of music provided was perfect, and added to the exquisite ambience created, especially with the discreet system allowing music throughout the house. We are looking forward to our next visit as three days was just not enough!

My husband and I spent five relaxing days here in April! The Owner's recommendations for restaurants were great, and attention was paid to every detail so we didn't have to! Very artistic decor, spa-like bath, peaceful garden, great location--close to shops and 17 Mile Drive. Even when it rained we enjoyed ourselves sitting by the fire, sipping wine and enjoying the surroundings. Look forward to going back! Thanks for the rejuvenating getaway!

We spent a delightful week in August celebrating our anniversary. Owner was great to work with. House has many special touches reflecting owner's artistic talents. Good CD and book collection. All appliances first class. Bath is luxurious. Good location. 3 stories would be a challenge if you had difficulty with stairs.

This is a wonderful, cozy house within walking distance of the beach, Carmel village, and Pebble Beach Golf course. Perfect for a couple or single person who likes to relax. It is very quiet and serene, and there are many things to do and see if you wish to get out a bit. A large factor in our perfect week in Carmel.

We had a wonderful time here. The space is cozy and perfect for a couple. Charlotte loved the HUGE bathtub for soaking away the world. You are in the middle of the best part of Carmel and yet feel a milliion miles away.

This is a delightful house in a perfect location. Both the town and the beach are within easy walking distance. The design of the house on three different levels gives you a variety of views and perspectives. There are two lovely decks, and the house has lots of natural light. It was a real pleasure to wake up each morning and see the beautiful view from the picture window in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom is luxurious. An excellent alternative to a hotel and the owner is a pleasure to deal with.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a perfect location and size for the week. The home has been tastefully remodeled and the bedroom has great views of the ocean, trees and 17 Mile Drive leading to Pebble Beach. Mariya, the owner, was a delight and very helpful with suggestions for area restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this option over a hotel room for a couple who plans to be in Carmel for a week.
