Our family of four most enjoyed our week in Krakow and in this lovely apartment. The space, the furnishings, and the amenities contributed to a "home away from home" at the end of a day of touring. The kitchen, in particular, is very well-appointed to prepare both a simple meal and something more complex with your purchases from the local markets. The location is outstanding. We felt that we were in the heart of Krakow, yet enjoyed quiet nights at the end of the day. And Sylvia, the manager, is a gem!

We stayed in the apartment for 5 days and we loved our time there. The layout and size of the apartment is great allowing plenty of room for 2 couples. We used the kitchen a lot and we had everything we needed. There is a smaller supermarket around the corner, and a farmers market a few steps further as well as a bakery. Also the big supermarket is at the Galleria shopping center. We took the taxi from the train station and the cost was just a few dollars. The walk to the Main Square is literally a 5-7 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants there to choose from. We will recommend this apartment to anyone we know going to Krakow! Thank you again.

We were struck immediately upon entering the building with the old world atmosphere of high ceilings, marble (maybe) walls and floors, cool interior on a hot day. We were a trifle disappointed that the elevator had been broken for what seems to be a long time, but the disappointment didn't last. The apartment itself is just wonderful. Spacious, with a very old world feeling yet the modern appliances and necesseties that make a vacation comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are huge. One thing that has been lacking in our previous rentals is comfortable seating in the living room. That's important to us because we don't go out gallavanting at night but sit and read our books. Well, there is plenty of comfortable seating--more than enough, We just loved everything about this space. I echo what everyone else has said: this is the best place we've rented, and we rent apartments frequently when we travel. The location is perfect. Just far enough from the Old Town to be calm and serene, but just close enough to be able to make short forays if one wants without having to think about a long walk back and forth. The supermarket is right around the corner and so is the farmers market. A ten minute walk takes you to the Galleria, a shopping mall that you thought you left behind in the U.S. suburbs! I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Krakow. This place is IT!!!

...and I've stayed in a few. Good points: Location Furnishing Equipment Comfort Quiet (well, for Krakow!) Convenient Beautiful decor Use of all mod cons including cable, local landline and mobile Knowledgable local host (Sylwia by name) Economical Challenging points: Lift (elevator) doesn't work the Polish door lock system seems to trouble some (but not us) - hence written instructions are provided! You need to leave in the end...! I would (and indeed already have) recommend it to friends and colleagues, and will definitely be back if I can. Don't bother with others at the same price - this one is almost certainly better!

My sister-in-law, my wife and I stayed here for two weeks in June/July 2011. The apartment was great and the pictures we had seen on the internet very much described this apartment. The gentleman who picked us up and also returned us to the airport was great, as was Swylia who came to show us around the apartment. The apartment was very nice and the location was very convenient to all places. Krakow is a beautiful city and there is lots to see and do. This is our third visit to Krakow and this time we had more rain than we ever had before. We didn't let the rain stop us from enjoying our vacation in Krakow and we had a great time. The apartment owner, Caspar was very helpful in negotiations for renting this apartment. We would highly recommend the apartment to any one who is visiting Krakow.

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas week. The listing was acurate and the photos were spot on but, the apartment was so much nicer than we were anticipating. The space is very roomy and comfortable and there were many little touches of luxury and comfort that made our stay very enjoyful. The high ceilings, long hallway, design of the bathroom, and building enterance really gave us an understanding and appreciation for living in Europe. We were assisted with our transportation schedule to and from the airport and the apartment keys were delivered to us. The location is just a short walk to the old city, many local restaurants, markets and public transportation is close by as well. Would recommend this apartment very highly to anyone looking to experience Krakow. A real gem!

I cannot recommend this apartment enough. From the start, Casper was quick to respond to our stay request, and the price was more than reasonable. We were looking forward to our stay because it sounded like a central location that could accommodate the six of us (us, three kids, and my mother-in-law). Prior to arrival, we contacted the housekeeper, Sylwia, to arrange a pick-up time for the keys. When we finally got to the apartment - wow! It was huge, two big bedrooms, large living room, huge kitchen - much more than we expected. Everything is newly renovated, very clean, lots of personal touches throughout. The old town section of Krakow was a very short walk, there was an open market around the corner, and everything was convenient. Thanks to C&L for a great place to stay!!

What a find! The apartment was wonderful. It is in such a convenient area. We stayed for three weeks and found it comfortable and "just like home". We love to cook and the kitchen was totally stocked. The market is close by and there are many pastry and deli shops nearby. The large windows gave us wonderful views and the apartment stayed cool. All the planning for our trip with Casper was professional and every promise a reality. We will be back and this apartment is a must! Sylwia checked on us frequently and made us feel so welcomed. We spent a couple nights here. They have a great location right outside the oldtown and a roomy, first class apartment. They also have a cell phone, wifi and a home phone for guests to use which makes coordination between a group of people much easier. The kitchen and dining room is spacious and makes for a good area for folks to sit around and talk, eat, etc. If we ever go back to Krakow will definately be using them again.

We had a fabulous time in Krakow. Having stayed at numerous apartments during our time in Europe, this apartment was by far the best! The photos are true to form - it is a beautiful apartment. It is very spacious such that our family of 5 could live very comfortably there. The apartment is well equipped with just about everything that is needed. There is also a comprehensive manual to assist with things in the apartment and Krakow. The apartment is also very close to the old town and the railway station.

Impeccable interwar apartment--gorgeous, clean, safe, centrally located yet very quiet. I'd move in! Caspar was prompt to respond to my emails and Pani Sylwia was extremely helpful and accommodating. I was busy working and didn't cook, but the kitchen is well appointed and there's an outdoor market one street over. The rynek is next door--a 5 minute walk--but the apartment is located in residential area so it's quiet. I know Krakow very well is the location is hard to beat. A quick walk through the planty to the train station etc. I have a mac and an ipod touch and there was no trouble with the wifi connection, which was excellent.

We were very pleased with the rental. It's location was excellent....just steps from Old Town, the bus station, modern shopping mall, and a local 'famers market'. We could not have asked for more. Also, the clothes washer was a welcome perk! Sylwie was SO HELPFUL in assisting with directions, etc. We would love to visit again!!!

7 nights in June 2010

We visited with my father (81) and brother-in-law (50) and my wife and two children (13, 6) for a total family of 6. The apartment was very much as described and the location could not be much better for a visit to Old Krakow. We drove in with a large rented van so first had to navigate the heavy Krakow traffic and fairly congested streets in the neighborhood of the apartment. Once we figured out the parking system (such as parking on the sidewalks and getting the permits from the meter boxes in the area) we had no issues. There are several paid lots just to the north of the apartment, but we actually found street parking no more than a few hundred meters at most every day for a week. Many days we parked free as we went off on excursions during the day when payment was required. The apartment was quite comfortable and roomy and we were able to spread out and unpack as much as we desired. We never felt crowded and we felt quite at home during our stay. It did get very hot and humid for about three days of our visit and we initially got some relief by opening windows until the mosquitos became a bit too numerous. After we closed up and used the available fans and made due. Another fan or two would actually help as we were sleeping in three different areas and also using a fan to try and get our laundry dry. The washing machine was great and allowed us to pack less for our trip, but with 6 people and indoor line drying that became a bit of a challenge. Also the directions for the machine took us some time to figure out as it operates differently than a standard U.S. model. I think my final nit pic was that the elevator was out of operation the entire time we were there as best we could determine. It would have been nice to have with my father, but otherwise I am sure we would have only ridden it once as a novelty as it is actually quite interesting and antique looking. Also the apartment is very accessible just up to the first landing from the lobby. I almost forgot to mention that the trash room was a bit of an explore to find and the directions provided were a bit confusing to us, but if anyone is looking it is there if you just try a few doors. Internet service was wonderful to have as well and worked with no problems. It may be helpful to know for those staying a while that there is a modern mall several blocks east with a food court and several coffee franchises available. We definitely plan to return one day and hope to stay in this apt.

Krakow was the start of our trip through Eastern ad Central Europe. The owner arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the apartment, very helpful as none of us speak Polish. The apartment was great, very spacious and comfortable, and great location - just outside the Planty and a 5 minute walk to the center of the old town. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Krakow.

Cracow rental

We have just got back from our short break in Cracow and wanted to express our appreciation of the lovely flat we rented from you. We really liked it and would thoroughly recommend to other visitors. We had a great time enhanced by the fabulous hot and sunny weather. In fact it was so lovely we didn't "do" any of the Cracow sights (Salt mine, Auschwitz, museums etc) as we were too busy sitting in cafes, strolling through the Planty and enjoying a cycle ride and picnic along by the river. It is a perfect city for cycling. We also appreciated the friendly and welcoming people including Sylvia of course. We did conclude that one plate of dumplings was probably enough!

We loved our stay at this spacious apartment in Krakow. It was extremely comfortable and the kitchen / dining area well appointed. The apartment is centrally located which allowed us to easily walk into the historic town centre and the modern shopping complex at the train station. There is a large Carrefours at the shopping centre for groceries as well as a small convenience store directly across the road from the apartment. The owner and his on site manager were very accommodating. Their kindness and flexibility was greatly appreciated. We loved Krakow and we'd recommend this apartment as your base.

Our family of four stayed in Casper's apartment over Christmas 2009. Firstly, the location was perfect. Quiet but a 5 minute walk to the main square. We planned to cook and the kitchen would have been a pleasure to use but we were so close to the most amazing and inexpensive restaurant I'm afraid we only cooked once except for breakfast but the kitchen is modern , beautiful and very well stocked. We felt we could have moved in and been very happy. The bathroom is very large as are the other rooms in the apartment. There is nothing I would change and the friendly contact and help we had from Casper and Sylwia was lovely. We have travelled quite extensively and Casper's apartment felt like home.

This was one of the two best Vacation Rentals where we stayed in Europe! The apartment was quite large and roomy. The very modern bathroom and kitchen were wonderful to have during our stay. The sleeping quarters were also more than adequate for a family of four, consisting of three adults and a teenager. The apartment was clean and neat and had all of the modern amenities. Its location was fantastic and very convenient to the heart of Krakow. Being several blocks from the train station and several kilometers from the airport there were no noises to disturb one's sleep. It was very "cool" to stay essentially in "downtown" Krakow with the comforts of home. Sylvia was also a dear and very helpful to us answering all of our questions about the neighborhood and arranging the round trip taxi from the airport. We just wish we had had more time on this first trip to Krakow. We really hope that this apartment is available whenever we go back to Krakow. Caspar was also very responsive, helpful and a genuine pleasure to do business with. What a wonderful holiday!

We were so pleased with this apartment. It is huge. We had a Polish friend who visited us in the apartment and she could not get over the size of it. Her own apartment is very small in comparison. The apartment is nice and bright, and there are not too many stairs to reach it. We did not realize the convenience of the location when we booked it. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the Old Town, and is very close to trams if you need them. We were able to walk to the train station on the day that we left, wheeling our suitcases. It is also close to a morning outdoor market, and a large shopping mall that is adjacent to the train station. (There are some good little restaurants in there.) The owner of the apartment leaves a book with the most complete information about the apartment and the area that I have ever seen. There are also instruction booklets for all of the appliances, in English! A European washing machine is no longer a mystery to me. It was great having the washing machine available, and the clothes dried quickly on the provided clothes dryer rack. The owner was generous to leave coffee, tea and laundry soap available. Krakow is so beautiful, and the main square with all of the restaurants and the activities of the square are just a short walk from the apartment. The apartment was quiet. We were met by a housekeeper who speaks English. She is a very warm person and full of all of the information that you would need. We highly recommend this apartment.

Caspar and Leila's apartment was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed and it suited our needs, as an adult family of 3 perfectly. It was really central and minutes from the main square. It was decorated to a really high standard with every amenity you could wish for and given it's size was amazing value for money. I've written a page in the on-site comments book of compliments:-) We will definitely recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Kracow as I can't see how it can be beaten.

The apartment was excellent very spacious cleana and well equipped with an excellent location. Thank you for your instructions re car parking which we found without problems. We found it difficult to work out how to access the sky channels on the TV as the guide was missing. Also we would have liked a tea pot (typical English!) & mentioned this to Sylwia but she explained that it had recently "gone missing" prusumably taken by a previous guest!! We had a wonderful time staying in this stunning apartment in June 2008. Place is very comfortable, spacious and clean. It is perfectly situated with walking distance to major attractions. We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful housekeeper Sylwia, who really went out her way to try setting my Mac with wi - fi. Apartment has a wi fi but not suitable for Macintosh ( That was the only little problem - hopefully Internet providing company (neostrada) will do something about it in near future) The apt had all amenities i.e coffee, tea, basic food in a fridge so we didnt have to run and look for a store just after arrival. ( Two little stores just across the street and bigger one block away) Very pleasant! Good communication with owners, you will not be disappointed.We definitely recommend this place to everybody ( romantic gateway, families, seniors etc)

In my travels I have stayed in some wonderful apartments. Your apartment has surpassed all those apartments. It outshines some of the hotels and villas that I have stayed in. It is a home away from home. What was amazing is that you provided us with so many ammenities. All we had to do is enjoy the apartment and not worry about where to buy the extras that are needed such as detergent for the washer or paper towels for the kitchen. You certainly thought of everything to make our stay at the apartment a wonderful experience. Thank you very much! For all those reading the reviews--Do not hesitate to rent this apartment. Fantastic Location Beautiful Apartment AMAZING CITY! this holiday (like the apartment) really wanted for nothing. Our second trip to Krakow and i hope not the last! The apartments was spacious, with a great layout, clean, homely and decorated to a very high standard. Everything you could possibly want was provided plus more! I loved the little touches like chilled water provided on your arrival. Top Marks.

We had a fabulous time in Krakow, and the great apartment was a large part of that! The apartment is amazingly well equipped -- it certainly had everything we needed, and then some; we only cooked breakfast for ourselves, but the kitchen is fantastic and would support any level of culinary indulgence. We found the location to be close enough to everything we wanted to see and do, but quiet as advertised. I will be recommending your accomodation to all of my friends and family who are able to visit Krakow in the future, and I hope we can return soon!
