We have prepared the ultimate RELAXING and PEACEFUL retreat for our guests to enjoy. This cozy cabin is a great place for a FAMILY VACATION, a retreat with 2-3 couples, or even a ROMANTIC GETAWAY. You'll have everything you need in this 1350 sq.ft., pet friendly cabin - we’ve made sure of that.
The first thing most people say when they drive up is “WOW! THAT IS A WONDERFUL VIEW!” The cabin offers a spectacular, unobstructed view from the DECK, and the BALCONY, as well as the HOT TUB, the fully equipped kitchen and the family room. It is nearly impossible to find a cabin with this view for these rates. We offer you a great value and high quality amenities.
When you arrive, there is a wide walkway that leads from the drive to the door for easy level access to the house, NO STAIRS TO CLIMB. You also have plenty of room for everyone to sleep with 3 SEPARATE SLEEPING AREAS, all with regular beds, NO SLEEPER SOFA, NO AIR MATTRESS, AND NO FUTON.
On the main level you will find …
When you enter on the main floor you are greeted with an excellent kitchen with lots of counter space and plenty of seating for everyone. The open, airy floor plan leads into the family room with a stacked stone GAS FIREPLACE. All NEW FURNISHUNGS in the family room make for a warm and inviting space. There is also a 27” LCD TV with satellite and DVD player in the family room. Down the short hall from the kitchen there are 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The master bedroom has a KING bed – TV with satellite and DVD player – reading space with a relaxing leather armchair tucked in the corner. The second downstairs bedroom has a Queen bed – TV with Satellite. There is a full bathroom with a wonderful JETTED TUB, and separate shower as well. Just in case you need to do a little laundry during your stay, we have a stacked WASHER AND DRYER as well.
The loft area features...
At the top of the stairs there is a great game space with a POOL TABLE - TV with satellite and DVD player – CD player – Games - plenty of seating to just lounge around – a perfect spot to just hang out. A KING bed is pleasingly places into the corner of the loft area which offers privacy from the down stairs living area. There is also a FULL bathroom with a shower right next to the King bed. Directly across the loft area is a catwalk leading to a welcoming COVERED BALCONY with that gorgeous view again - a perfect spot to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and watch the sun come up over the mountain.
The outside features...
The greatest thing about this cabin is the peaceful natural surroundings. While you enjoy the spectacular year round VIEW from just about anywhere, you will also enjoy the splendid peace and quiet. We just added a NEW GAS GRILL in case you want to do some grilling out on the first floor covered deck area. Or you may choose to just sit and relax in the ROCKING CHAIRS for a while and listen to the birds chirping and the squirrels playing in the woods around you.
There is a wonderful HOT TUB located just off the side of the house, with reasonable screening from the neighbors. The cabin sits on over 1/2 acre of wooded yard to offer a private location with only a few homes nearby – privacy without seclusion. The driveway has space to park 2-3 cars.
The cabin is located in the Shagbark subdivision, a GATED community with a mix of full time and vacation homes. The neighborhood has an outdoor POOL and TENNIS COURTS, and a great CREEK running next to the main road and along the edge of the community center area. The neighborhood is located 10 minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and only about 25 minutes from Dollywood. You can also use the Metcalf Bottoms entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to get between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without all the congestion of the Parkway.

We really enjoyed our family visit. The cabin was cozy with all the comforts of home. Everyone enjoyed the pool table, the beautiful view and teh hot tub. To our surprise, many things were open on Christmas day. Some were go-carts and Wonderworks were we enjoyed rock climbing, earthquake cafe, pitching booths and ll hands on activities. Thank you for allowing us to share our Christmas in your cabin.

Thank you for all the little touches in the cabin that made it our family's home for a short time (too short). We always enjoy coming to Dollywood and the Dixieland Stampede each Christmas season. Now our daughter is married and living in VA, but she wanted to continue the family tradition of Christmas in Pigeon Forge. This was out first time renting a cabin for teh family and we appreciate the welcoming spirit here. Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas. We hope to take some of the awesome peace of the mountains back with us.

We had a wonderful time here in your cabin. It was really comfortable and had a nice view. Everyone enjoyed the snow that fell during our visit. The kids loved the pool table and teh board games upstairs. We would like to come again soon.

It has been a very wonderful week for us. We're still talking to each oter and we have hundreds of pictures of our adventures: shopping, more shopping, a trip to Biltmore Estate, Cades Cove (where we finally saw 2 bears), the aquarium, Bryson City for a train ride, and the warbird museum of older airplanes. We have cooked, eaten until we could pop, and enjoyed the hot tub many times. We have had weather in the 70's and seen our first snow. The mountains were the prettiest anyone could ever remember. It has been a real WOW week!
