Description:
This just remodeled top ocean view duplex sits on a great court on the ocean side of Mission Beach - Jersey Court. Complete with a rooftop deck and just steps to the Boardwalk, sand and ocean. The granite counters are now in both the bathrooms now.
A spacious beach house with 1560 sq ft of living space. The kitchen has custom cabinets with granite counter tops, and there is a full size washer and dryer and a big screen TV. It has a great feel with all the amenities of home, including an outdoor shower. We have a wonderful private patio deck, with a barbecue and table and chairs for relaxing, dining, or soaking up the sun (see picture). You can also combine this unit with the downstairs for larger groups and enjoy the amenities of both or also add our other unit on the same court for a group up to 22.
The layout includes: large master bedroom (two queen beds) with two large closets and a connected full bath. The second bedroom (king size bed) is also large, and the third bedroom is mid-size, with an additional full bath toward the front of the house. The kitchen opens up into the living room and dining room, and there is an excellent ocean view from the west living room window, and a view of the Sea World fireworks from the east window! We just replaced the couch in the front room with a larger one that includes a pull out bed.
The home is close to Sea World, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, and San Diego's historic Old Town area. La Jolla (the Jewel) is just a few miles north with amazing shopping and restaurants/bars. A visit to our beach house will truly be a memorable one for you and your family.

Had a great time. The upper deck was awesome...sunbathing with less wind. The place was kid friendly (2 1/2yr old twins and an 8 yr old). Lots of beach pails and several beach chairs to use. The photos were right on. The owner was on sight over the weekend because somebody ( could it have been one of the twins??) had locked the bathroom door and then shut it. Very close to the beach and restaurants. We did have 2 cars with car seats and strollers and it was nice to lock everything in the two car garage. If we get back to Mission Beach next year, will plan on renting this space again.

Our large, extended family has stayed at this property (both upstairs and down) for 3 years now and in all of the 30 years that we have been going to San Diego for our week each summer, this property has the most room and can accomodate a large group better than any I have found. The property is well maintained, close to lots of activities that our grandkids can walk to and very highly recommended by all of us. The owners are easy to work with and very nice people. The upstairs living area is so large that all of our family (10 adults and 9 grandkids) can eat, watch TV, play games and just enjoy each other with plenty of room for all. The patio on the roof has a 360 degree view of both bay and ocean, Belmont Park and north to Pacific Beach. It is an added bonus area for all to enjoy.

This was the best rental experience that our family has ever had! The home was everything that the ad said and so much more. The decorating was in such great taste and the views were just perfect! Jersey Shores 2 is an amazing place to stay! The unit is so spacious and comfortable and the rooftop deck has the most beatuiful views. We enjoyed having coffee up there in the mornings and a relaxing glass of wine at sunset! The location can't be beat! Everything we needed was in walking distance and the beach just steps away. This place is paradise and we can't wait to enjoy another vacation there soon!

Welcome to Jersey Shores in Mission Beach located on Jersey Court. This is a new property for us that we acquired in July, 2007. This is a duplex with a two bedroom downstairs and a three bedroom upstairs with a view of the ocean and a rooftop deck with a 360º view of Mission Beach. We've been fortunate to have it booking really well with some great renters. We've slowly been putting our own personal touch on each unit to make them special. I am a professional photographer and we are showcasing selected work in both units. Each unit has a distinct personality. Downstairs, Jersey Shores 1, has a more bungalow feeling with a palm tree shaded brick patio. Our short term goal is to give it more of a surfer decor, which we hope to have done by the spring. One of the special moments is when we're lying in bed with the window open and hear the breaking of the waves.... Upstairs is a large open space with over 1,350 sq. feet of space. The decor is Parisian and features framed prints in the front room from our trip to Paris for my birthday in 2006. The larger bedroom accents the room with sepia prints from Kauai in 2007. This is my favorite unit, I love the space, even if it's just the two of us. Fortunately and unfortunately we don't get to spend a lot of time here as it's booked the most. Probably the best feature of Jersey Shores 2 is the rooftop deck, especially at night. You can see so much and just relax.... Patti loves our first condo we bought (amazingly all are on Jersey Ct.). We call it Jersey Ct. Hideaway. Originally it was purely an investment, but staying at the beach a few times changed our minds. It's our second home. Although a little smaller, it has a large patio and a huge shade tree. It's so great sitting on the patio we sometimes forget to go to the beach. So, sorry about the rambling but we wanted to let you know how special our Jersey Court is to us. We hope your stay is as special to you also. Joel and Patti
