We had a wonderful time at Casa Falcioni! There were 5 of us and we were warmly welcomed by the owner's parents when we arrived. My father-in-law had stayed here before, so we knew what to expect, but it was so wonderful to see it hadn't changed. The photos are exactly as the apartments are - the views are even more beautiful! We visited many sites around Tuscany during the week we were there, but the best part was coming home, cooking supper, eating on the deck and sipping wine while watching the lights. We would definitely come here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I spent a very enjoyable week in July at Casa Falcioni, right in the heart of the Chianti wine country. The property is just like what it looks in the pictures, amidst a grove of olive trees and beautiful woods. The place is well maintained and very clean, and the typical rustic decoration of the house made us feel very much at ease there. We did not spend a whole lot of time inside the house during the day (there is so much to see in the area!), but we enjoyed the quiet of the night time, and the beautiful view of the peaceful rolling hills from our bedroom. Tanya and Silvano are wonderful hosts, and were very helpful suggesting places to visit off the beaten path in the region. Grazie mille!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

I and my husband were there with his parents. The place was GREAT, the view remarkable, and the location perfect for day trips all over Tuscany (although the windy roads may require Dramamine for those who get car sick!). Tanya and her family are the perfect hosts - and the outside Barbeque is the perfect way to create a great dinner. We actually had our best time cooking out and having dinner on th epatio with some great Chianti. We hope to come back again and again!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent five nights at Casa Falcioni and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rented both apartments as we met our daughter & neice who were travelling in Europe. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The property is as described, and was extremely clean and well-maintained. We were very busy sight-seeing so only used the kitchen facilities for a light breakfast and snacks, but it would certainly be suitable for cooking all meals. Tanya & Silvano are excellent hosts, available with any information needed (including emailing us later with the name of a plant we were wondering about), but respected our privacy as well. We found the location very convenient - took day trips to Pisa, Florence and many hill towns, which were a highlight of our time in Tuscany. We ate at a number of restaurants in Cavriglia, Montevarchi and Gaiole and enjoyed them all. We would recommend Casa Falcioni to anyone and will definitely return in the future!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This comfortable property was accurately portrayed. The view was breathtaking as we walked up to our apartment. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful...even carried our luggage for us. We enjoyed meeting the entire family and learned much about the Italian lifestyle from them. They were there if we needed them and at the same time, respected our privacy. Tanya recommended several wonderful places for us to visit, which made our Tuscan vacation even more memorable. Silvano even offered to take our Euros to pay (an embarrassing) parking ticket in Sienna, which would have been difficult from the USA. We have loved pictures of the Tuscan countryside for years and finally we were blessed to be able to see it for ourselves! This apartment is located very centrally to so much beauty, as well as many interesting hill towns within an hour or two, making day trips easy. We especially enjoyed the scenery on SR-222 and found Greve in Chianti one of our favorites. Loved the atmosphere there. They also have a statue of the first citizen of New York, a local. We stopped and met some grape pickers on that route...a special memory. We feel we have made friends at Casa Falcioni...not just a business transaction. Thank you, Tanya and Silvano (& family). Siena, Florence, castelo Brolio, etc...Casa Falcioni is so well situated. We were at proximity of everything.The fog in the valley in tthe morning, the oloive trees, the fig trees, everything was so exotic, peaceful and calm. Everything is so cleaneed and well maintained. Everything described was accurate and corresponded to what we were looking for. You were so helpful at directing us toward the best things to see. You were so helpful and friendly. You made our holiday more special. I would recommend to all my friends or relatives. It is certain that we woudn't hesitate a second to go back to Casa Falcioni if we're going back to Italy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Cette résidence était tout a fait conforme à l'annonce de VRBO..Tout était près et en place pour nous.Une bouteille d'huile d'olive nous attendait ainsi qu'un mot de bienvenu et les hôtes nous ont donne beaucoup d'information pour agrémenter notre voyage. We stayed at Casa Falcioni for 4 nights during our trip to Italy and we enjoyed every part of it. We have received a warmful welcome from the owners who are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They provided us plenty of information concerning the region and the main things to see. From the moment we arrived we felt like if we were part of the family. I we're literally at home. Casa falcioni is a wonderful place to stay for those who want to visit the chianti region and its surrounding. We had the cielo apartment which was small but more than enough for a couple. We didn't spent much time in it since there's so many things to see. Our family of four had a great stay at the Casa Falcioni. The host, Salvano, was very helpful and friendly. The house itself was very clean and functional. We had breakfast on the patio every morning under the "Tuscan Sun." The location was also very convenient. We visited a lot of places during our one week stay. A car is highly recommended. We stayed at this place March 8th-15th, 2011. Not the best time to go to Tuscany but we still enjoyed it very much. We rented both the studio apartment and the one-bedroom one. If you preference is a 5 star hotel, then find one in Florence. If you are after a true Tuscan countryside experience you'd be staying at the right place. The olive grove was beautiful, even in early spring. Both apartments appear to have been recently renovated. The bathrooms are simple but updated, efficient and sparkling clean. The bedrooms are nice and spacious (again this is not a 800 sq feet master suite!), the beds are comfy. The kitchen was essential after the entire day of sightseeing. The attention we got from the hosts - Sylvano & Tanya was the best part! They provided us with numerous suggestions at to what to see, where to shop and eat. They made sure we had everything we needed etc. Highly Recommended!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Tuscany was ever more beautiful than we envisioned! Thank you so very much for your kindness and hospitality. Who knew that we would follow in our daughter Katie's footsteps (one very small step at least) and find our way to the Tuscan hills and the magical Casa Falcioni! What a wonderful place for the last leg of our trip! So clean, quiet and peaceful- great to come "home" to every night. Thanks so much for all your help with maps and information. We really enjoyed our conversations about your wonderful life here. Of ourse we enjoyed helping your neighbors snip grapes in their vineyard...for a whole hour!!! We'll have great memories of eating fresh figs for breakfast, snipping fresh rosemary for cooking dinner and walking in the country. We'll definitely recommend Casa Falcioni to our friends. My friend and I chose to spend our last week in Italy in Tuscany where we stayed at Casa Falcioni -- what a treat! It's a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of Rome and Venice. Location is very central allowing for day drips to Sienna, Montepulciano, San Giminignano, etc. Our first night, we arrived late, in the dark and did not have a chance to pick up groceries. Tanya generously put together a care package of food, beverages, to carry us over until we could get to the store. The apartment was very clean and homey and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Loved the fig tree the provided us with fresh figs daily. Both Silvano and Tanya were very helpful in providing us with information, directions to places, and shared the history of their Casa. They even arranged for us to have the opportunity for us to help the neighbours out with their grape harvest. I would most definitely recommend Casa Falcioni. Great place for a couple who wants a relaxing get away, for a family with children or for friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Falcioni for seven days in September, 2010. It was everything we expected and more. The property was beautiful. The views were great. Olive trees everywhere and tasty ripe figs to pick any time you wanted. We were two couples and rented the two bedroom apartment. It was very clean and quiet. The beds were nice and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The location was very convenient to Florence and Siena and many other intersesting towns. We drove to Siena and also visited a small hill town called Monteriggioni that Silvano recommended, it was beautiful. We took the train from Montevarchi to Florence. Tanya and Silvano were very helpful in giving directions and other information about the area. We ate in a few restaurants in the small town of Criviglia, the food and wine were great. Our only regret is that we were not able to spend more time with Tanya and Silvano and their lovely children because most days we would leave early in the day and come back late at night. We were all happy with our choice of Casa Falcioni and would stay there again and definetly would recommend it to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed 9 warm days in two ways: the weather, but also your warm welcome, hospitality and friendliness. Traveling as a couple, we enjoyed the studio apartment which is small but nice and very, very clean with the most beautiful view we have ever had! We were not bored for a minute, although it was the most relaxed holiday we had for a long time. We loved the olive oil which we used on the terrace during our candlelight dinners. This is a newly remodeled, absolutely clean and convenient, property in the Tuscan hills. It is located amid a small olive grove, with a lovely view of the valley below. It can't get better than sitting out on the veranda with a glass of the local wine, enjoying the serene view. We rented two apartments, perfect for two couples travelling together. The little town of Cavriglia is nearby, with nice restaurants and a fine, very complete grocery store. (I don't recommend the big mega grocery store in Montavarchi, which is like a super Walmart!) Tanya and Silvano were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We found the description of the apartment true to its word and then some! The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome in their clean and comfortable apartment. We absolutely loved the view...wow! It was so nice to wake up to the valley below us, the singing birds and the sunshine! Our meals on the terrace were a real treat since we also had tables and chairs for us to use outside. We'll be back and highly recommend your place! I cannot recommend this beautiful house enough. My family and I stayed 6 nights in September 2009 and only wish it could have been longer. The house is perfectly situated half way between Siena and Florence near the small town of Cavriglia. A large supermarket and produce shops are all ten minutes away by car. The house is spacious, well maintained, excellent beds, great equipped kitchens and a view to die for over the valley. Make sure you wake early one day to catch the sunrise. Owners Tanya and Silvano could not be more welcoming and were happy to chat about their small olive farm and their family. They were the ideal hosts - genial, simpatico and charming. On arrival we had a bottle of the local red wine waiting for us and our hosts even offered us some of their home grown olive oil (superb) and fresh figs from their tree. The house has all the kitchen equipment you need to cook some of the superb Tuscan produce bought from local markets. The house is also situated ideally for day trips to all the major Tuscan cities as well as all of the smaller villages that make up this piece of heaven on Earth. 5 out 5 rating from my family and we cannot wait to return. Wonderful accomodations for two couples. Tanya & Silvano & family were terrific hosts. The highlite was Lorenzo and Letizia welcoming us to Casa Falcioni with a bottle of the local vino rosso. The view of the olive groves, the town of Caviglia and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. Vielen Dank fuer die schoenen sonnigen Tage in der Toskana und speziell bei Euch! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefuehlt und unseren Stressige Alltag schnell vergessen. Besonderen Dank an Silvano der am ersten Morgen unsere Aussicht ins Tal noch erweiterte (Olivenbaum zuruckgeschnitten hat). Ein weiteres Highlight war das essen im Restaurant bei Euch in der naehe.
