Catch of the Cape is a dog friendly gulfview townhome conveniently located 80 steps from the gulf front community pool and clubhouse. Our unit number is 42. We are just 120 steps from the beach in the gated Barrier Dunes community. Relax on our decks overlooking a fresh water lake with the gulf beyond.
Beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards,cooler, floats skim board and lots of beachtoys including sand buckets/shovels for the kids are on hand for you to use during your stay.
A tropical theme welcomes you to this spacious 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhome with a sleeping loft that makes a great get away for the kids or teenagers. TV's in all sleeping areas and the den. There are three twin beds and plenty of space to play games, do puzzles or watch your favorite movie.
Barrier Dunes is located between the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil waters of St. Joseph's Bay. This area, "The Forgotten Coast", was rated as the Number One Beach in America 2001!
The main floor of this home has a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, cooking range and oven. The dining room has seating for six plus two additional seats at the bar. The great room / den with a queen sleeper sofa and loveseat has cable, DVD, VHs and a stereo system. The sliding glass doors open onto a spacious deck overlooking the pond.
The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bath, TV with Cable/DVD, stereo and private balcony with a great view of the gulf. The other bedroom also has a private bath, queen bed, TV with DVD and balcony. Decks offer beautiful pond views - you can fish or feed the ducks right below your deck.
If you have never experienced "Old Florida" you are in for a treat. Apalachicola is an old Coastal town only a short drive away and has great shopping, restaurants and museum about the invention of the ice machine. It is a refreshing change from your typical tourist town with it's charming storefronts and the oysters here are to die for!
