This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, two story traditional style home is our family vacation getaway. We thoroughly enjoy our vacations here and have tried our best to make it comfortable and homey for our guests to enjoy their own vacations.
Our home offers large living and dining rooms, each with cathedral ceilings and gleaming hardwood floors. The large dining room table seats 12 guests. In addition, the home has a beautifully decorated sunroom/den and a well stocked kitchen with everything you may need to create the perfect meal. The first floor of our home also features a laundry area within the powder room, complete with a full capacity washer and dryer.
Great attention to the details has gone into decorating our home with its beachy décor and custom window treatments throughout. A unique feature of this home is its two master suites (one on the first floor and one on the second floor) which make it perfect for two families to share. Each master bedroom suite has a private vanity dressing area, full bath with large shower and walk-in closets. Bedrooms 3 and 4, located on the second story, are sizeable and share a full bath. Additional beds are found in the living room (full size sectional sleep sofa) and the sunroom (queen size sleep sofa).
Our home is ideally located, nestled in the woods by the South Gate entrance of Ocean Pines, walking and biking distance from numerous newly built shops and restaurants. Ocean Pines is a quiet, family oriented community that offers many amenities including five community pools, numerous parks and playgrounds, tennis courts, watercraft launching sites, a Yacht Club and more. The Ocean Pines golf course is the Delmarva Peninsula's only 18 hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and one of the most challenging on the East Coast. The use of these amenities is extended to our guests for a small additional fee.
Just minutes from the Ocean Pines community are Ocean City, Maryland, historic Berlin, Ocean Pines horse racing track, twelve golf courses (championship and executive) and the renowned ponies of Assateague Island. In addiiton, the recently opened Ocean Downs Casino is located minutes from our home.
Also included with the rental of our home is the Beach Club parking pass. The Beach Club is an ocean front club located on 49th and 50th streets in Ocean City. It offers a snack bar and grille for light faire and locker rooms for your convenience. It features a 30x54 foot family swimming pool.

'We had hoped to return and here we are completing our second trip here to 2 Abbott Place. What an awesome week! This year we visited more of the pools and they were enjoyed by the kids ages 5 to 15. We especially love the location for the kids (and adults) to ride bikes in the neighborhood and walk/run around the lake. We are close enough to enjoy our favorite restaurants (Hoopers, Seacrets), visit the boardwalk and take in the beach. It's nice to be away from the craziness as well. I selected this vacation home for our annual DELMARVA paddling week for my group of mostly retired friends in our Hiking Club. , Some came for 2 days, some more. We averaged 6 adults per night. Everyone loved this place. The large dining room table gave everyone plenty of room to eat, read or peruse their laptops. Kitchen had plenty of everything for a week's stay. Beds were all firm but very comfy. Plenty of room for parking . Nice quiet neighborhood. Besides kayaking the many nearby creeks and ponds, we enjoyed biking near Healopen and around the lake in Ocean Pines. Many took a day to relax in OC and walk the boardwalk. Great week! Would return againRecommended for: Age 55+.

This house was perfect for our visit....we came into town for our grandmother's 90th birthday, and with so many relatives traveling from out of town, we wanted a place to stay that would be warmer and more inviting than a hotel-and this place was reasonable, clean, comfortable, and has tons of beds and sleeper sofas for all the cousins! It was central to everything in Ocean Pines, and given the chance we will stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My sister and I, along with our families, spent a wonderful week at this great vacation rental. The house is clean and well cared for with lots of room for everyone. We took full advantage of the swim club membership we purchased for the week---we loved the one on the beach. A must is the horse preserve beach island, Asseteague Island--we went there twice and loved roaming the beach with the horses. Great Vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and with my husband the night of the wedding and the house was great. Very clean, very roomy and had a great layout. 2 master suites made it great for extra room in getting ready and everyone had their own bathroom as well. We didn't do any cooking but there were tons of spices and any utensils, pots, pans, etc... whatever you need they have. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Our family stayed in this house last summer for a week and enjoyed it. It is roomy and with three generations in the same house everyone had room to spread out. In a nice quiet development with a playground close by. I would recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
