BEAT THE HEAT!!!! It is still hot in the Valley and we still have a special rate through Sep 30, now $225 per night, 2 night minimum. Golf membership transfer fee of $75 allows play on the private Torreon Golf Course, 36 holes. Golf rates for immediate family are: $25 service charge per TEE TIME, $18 per person cart fee. Guests (not immediate family)-$80 per round (includes cart fee).
EXTRAS: For each rental (2 or more nights), we include a complimentary bottle of wine, snacks, and a sleeve of golf balls to get you started.
DOUBLE UP: Split the cost with another family. We have 2 master suites with plenty of room for 2 couples or families.
SAVE GAS: Once you get to the Bear Pine Lodge, you can simply park your car. You won't need it again until you go home. Virtually everything at Torreon is within walking distance--Golf Clubhouse and Courses, Restaurant, Family Center, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool/Spa, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Kid's Playground, and Catch and Release fishing pond.
COOL: We are in the White Mountains at an elevation of over 6,300 feet. Summertime temperatures range from the 60s at night to the upper 80s/low 90s during the day. During the Monsoon Season, it is not unusual for afternoon temperatures to drop to the mid-70s when the clouds build up. You will fine welcome relief from the Valley heat up here.

Your very own, completely furnished mountain lodge in Torreon Golf Resort is located in the Northern Arizona White Mountains, situated on the Mogollon Rim and surrounded by the Apache- Sitgreaves National Forest. Just minutes from Show Low, a pleasant 2 1/2 hour drive from either Phoenix or Tucson makes this unique mountain retreat an easy get-away. At an elevation of 6350 feet, the mild climate is perfect for four seasons of activities. During your stay you may choose to transfer our unit golf membership granting you full access to all amenities in Torreon as well as the 36 hole championship golf course. During winter months enjoy skiing at Sunrise Ski Resort – only a short 45 minutes away.
Built in 2005, Bear Pine Lodge has 3br/3ba and features 2 master suites. Each room has a pine cone/ bear theme and is fully furnished in mountain lodge décor. This lodge is situated in a very quiet peaceful setting and is ideal for a weekend get-away, house-hunting visits, writers retreats, holidays, golf outings, summer sabbaticals and much more.
As many of our guests have said, this is the perfect place to unwind - especially if your idea of heaven is curling up in front of the fire or out on the patio with a good book, glass of wine, and your favorite music playing.
This Torreon lodge rental will accommodate 7 people comfortably. The master bedroom is furnished with a King size bed, and access to the back patio. The bath features double sinks, a walk in closet and spa tub. The second master or lock off 1br. unit is furnished with a king size bed and boasts a gas fireplace, coffee maker and small refrigerator. The 3rd bedroom is complete with a twin over full bunk bed – perfect for children or extra sleeping space for close friends and family members. You will sleep peacefully snuggled up on overstuffed mattresses and in luxurious bedding.
We love to cook, so for us it is essential that the kitchen in any lodge rental be fully furnished. Our Torreon lodge is appointed with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is equipped for the best gourmet meal. In addition to refrigerator, ice maker, oven/stove, microwave, and dishwasher, you will also find a coffee maker, tea pot, blender, toaster, waffle iron, griddle, mixer, slow cooker, complete cookware and baking sets, dishes, flatware, glassware, cutlery -- all the tools you will need.
If you prefer being outside, you will find a gas grill, table with 4 chairs, chaise lounge and side table. This is great for grilling and viewing the green golf course or wooded area from our patio. The front deck has two chairs and side table – perfect for a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
Within walking distance you will find a host of activities on site in Torreon such as a state of the art fitness center, pool/spa, tennis courts, Torreon golf club and restaurant. The kids particularly enjoy the playground, basketball courts, volleyball court, catch and release fishing pond, equestrian center, and Family Center Complex featuring video games, air hockey, big screen TV and more. Mom and Dad appreciate the fact that they watch your kids while you play golf.
The 36 hole championship golf course designed by world – renowned architects von Hagge, Smelek, and Baril is challenging yet enjoyable. Your junior golfer will enjoy two holes designed just for them. Golf instruction is also available--contact the pro shop.
Whether you enjoy nature watching, hiking, golfing, skiing, horseback riding, swimming as well as much , much more, you will find it all right here. For those who are not as active or when you’re just tired we suggest you relax, kick back, take it easy, and enjoy the cool breeze and the rustling of the ponderosa pines with your favorite glass of wine.
