"Banyan Beach" - Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the gulf from the spacious wrap around decks on both levels of this absolutely beautiful, newly renovated home on Cape San Blas.
This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath home features gorgeous cathedral post and beam ceilings in living/dining room and master suite. Lovely flagstone fireplace and hardwood floors in living room. Sliding doors in living room open onto covered deck with plenty of seating. There is a double sofa sleeper in the living room. Leather sectional includes two recliners.
Kitchen, baths, hallway and laundry area have new tile floors. Kitchen has all new appliances and is generously stocked. Both main level bedrooms have queen-size beds along with twin rollaways. Beautiful master suite on upper level has king-size bed, with double sinks and closets in master bath. All bedrooms are equipped with new TVs with DVDs and remotes, clock/radios and a telephone, and have sliding glass doors onto the deck. There is also a ceramic-tiled laundry area on the second floor.
Just a little over 100 yards to the beach, this home has plenty of parking for boat or jet ski, and is a short distance to the state park’s public boat launch. Banyan Beach is professionally landscaped and has an outdoor hot and cold shower and charcoal parkside grill. Conveniently located close to grocery/sundry stores on the Cape but only 20 minutes from more shopping in Port St. Joe or 30 minutes from Appalachicola's restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful time here! We were traveling with pets, and it was difficult to find an affordable, pet-friendly rental home. This one was perfect for us. There are 3 great bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. They have thought of everything you could need, and put it in the cabinets. We even had a seafood boil with the huge stockpot provided. It's not a long walk to the beach, and you don't have to cross the road--just walk down the sandy pathway past some other houses, and over the dunes. The wrap-around porches were my favorite things! We spent our mornings eating breakfast on them, and our evenings out there too. Wonderful place--we hope to be back!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home. It is beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. Our son loved the video games, movies and board games. The decks were great. This is out 4th stay on the Cape and this has been the best house by far. The beach and ocean were perfect! Our dogs loved laying out on the decks and in the light from the sky light.

Our family booked 6-17 to 6-22-11. We had such an amazing time that we didnt want to go home. Great house for the money, this is the second time we stayed at this house and plan to stay there again. Paul is a very nice guy and they have done some nice updates since they bought the home in 2009. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks for the wonderful memories!! We will have them for a lifetime

As we are packing up the trailer for the start of our trip back to Vermont tomorrow, I look back at the 4 months that Kathy and I have enjoyed your wonderful Cape home with delight and wonder. This is a beautiful home, well appointed and maintained and was perfect for us for the winter. You made a wise investment when you acquired this property. It has everything anyone could want at any time of year. The surrounding area had much to offer with restaurants and shopping and just relaxing and watching the dolphins playing in the Gulf. For us, even Panama City was not too far to shop once every week or two. We were so pleased with what we found here on Cape San Blas that we decided to come back again, soon, and stay for our retirement years. We invested in a property on the southern end of the Cape, about a half mile in from SR 30A. We have to sell our Vermont house this summer and will be back on the Cape as soon as possible, or no later than early November. Hopefully you and your family will be able to come down to spend some time here this summer. It's too beautiful to miss, especially now that the weather has warmed and the days are longer. The beaches are gorgeous and the fact that they're pet friendly is a bonus. Banyan Beach/ Turtle Dunes was the nicest house we've found yet, it exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave... The owner was great to deal with, very nice and accommodating. Real close to the beach and awesome views of the ocean from the house's many porches. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay at the beach. I have found in the past not all rentals and rental experiaences have been great, but we have finally found the place we will return to... Thanks for sharing your Cape home with us! We love Cape San Blas and we go every spring. The pet friendly beaches are so nice and we like the fact that it's quite. This house was gorgeous and exceeding our expectations.
