  WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CONDO. SPOTLESS AND VERY NICELY DECORATED. Everything that you need - just like home. The pantry has some spices, olive oil,,etc. I would wait to purchase these items after check in. We ate on the patio most evenings watching the sunsets and the evening whales jump and spout. Most nights we spent several hours on the beach watching and listening to the crashing waves - and watching the huge green turtles bobbing up with their white heads. And the STARS - WOW! There is snorkeling at the resort - and all of the equipment is provided for you. However our favorite snorkeling spot is to take a trip to the Molakini crater. Be sure to drive north on one of your outing days. Red rock cliffs, great photo opps. Some narrow roads - but that adds to the experience. We forgot our binoculars - (of course) and John came right over with a pair for our use. Do take a cocktail cruise during the whale season. Many times you will find your self up close and personal - literally - with the whales. The Humpback whale is amazing! We were able to spend 2 weeks this trip and we LOVE, LOVE THIS RESORT! THIS WAS OUR 5TH TIME - AND I CANT WAIT TO RETURN. Only 10 months - and counting. :) John and Val are great. They are there for anything that you need. You will not be sorry you picked this resort as your vacation spot for Maui. You Will Also Be Returning.

  Wow! There are no words to adequately express our seven days in Maui. The root of our fun was this condo! The location was PERFECT. We were minutes from everything we had on our "Maui bucket list." We golfed at Kapalua, Whale Watched in Lahaina, Ziplined in Kaanapali just to name a few activities... and ALL were within a 5 minute drive from our condo. Even on the rare occasion we "stayed in", the time was unforgettable. You can step out the back door and watch the turtles, listen to the waves or marvel at the Humpback Whales playing in the ocean. The best part of our stay was the ability to "eat-in"... The full-service kitchen was not only great to save money on food (stocking up at the grocery store is a good idea), but grilling our own fish just steps away from the beach was awesome. Having breakfast and dinner on the Lanai was spectacular. The smells of the flowers are still etched in my brain. Val and John (owners who live on site) were tremendous hosts. They made sure my wife and I had everything and more to make our 10th anniversary trip something we'll never forget. This condo may be the best value on earth. You cannot say at comparable hotel for half the price! And this place gives you so much flexibility to have the money and freedom to do things to make a trip to Maui everything you had envisioned. If I could give my stay more than five stars (above), I certainly would have. You can bet my wife and I will be back. Hopefully sooner, rather than later. Thanks Val and John. You are the best!

  We enjoyed our fifteen days stay immensely. The waterfront units were great. The large heated swimming pool was enjoyable though set somewhat away from the Ocean. We sighted Humpback Whales and Turtles continuously. The owners, Valori and John are most friendly and helpful hosts. They attended to all our needs promptly. We will definitely stay here during our next visit.

  Stayed in many resorts on Lower Honoapiilani Rd. and this was by far the best...The grounds are beautifully groomed. We are avid swimmers so the large HEATED pool was a bonus....We woke up early to greet daybreak on the lanai with our Kona coffee....watching the ocean view appear and listening to the waves each morning was breathtaking.... The location is a short drive from other snorkling beaches as well as at Kuleana, saw turtles and whales too. The Farmers' Market and other shopping are a nice walk away.....as well as "the catch of the day" get there by 11:00 am for the MahiMahi....it goes first....We loved hopping in the car and being in Lahaina in minutes... The condo was perfect for us, exactly as shown and John and Val are AWESOME, available anytime. If you're looking for a comfy,clean, nicely appointed and beautifully decorated accomodation with gorgeous artwork....this is it....We found our paradise....Mahalo John and Val....see you again....

  We had the pleasure of staying at both condos, 505 & 506, for 12 days and I would highly recommend them. The accommodations were clean and nicely decorated. The pictures are accurate. Because of previous bookings and our length of stay, we spent the last two nights at 506 so this review will be for both condos. Excellent location and grounds, the gardeners are meticulous and it really shows. Listening to the birds in the early morning on the patio was so relaxing. Both condos were very comfortable and provided you with everything you need for your stay. I do think the kitchen in 506 had a few more supplies and I preferred the bedding as well, but it is still nice in 505! There are nice, thick beach towels, great beach chairs, coolers and comfortable furniture at both condos. The condos are close to the pool, beach, and grills. You will see sea turtles on the beach- the last day we were there, one was swimming within five feet of us just standing at the edge of the ocean. John and Val are so easygoing and accommodating, I would come back to their condo if we return!

  My wife and I spent close to two weeks in West Maui and stayed at John and Val's Kuleana condo. We cannot say enough about our vacation. Comfortable condo, impeccable grounds, the Ocean few feet away, dreamy sunsets. Shopping for anything was minutes away and there was no lack of excellent restaurants. We do believe that what made the difference was the professionalism and friendliness of the condo owners, who befriended us, helped with any questions and addressed any needs with speed and efficiency. Highly recommended! [Note: During the same vacation, we also stayed at another condo at the same resort for a few days (due to booked up dates) which was right on the beach, but was not nearly as comfortable inside and did not have some of the niceties of the #506 condo, such as enough storage, a comfortable living room with flat screen TV, or those great beach chairs!]

  John and Val made our stay everything we expected and more! They are very friendly, helpful and just great owners. The property is absolutely beautiful. It is very well maintained and very clean. You have access to 2 private beaches. There are turtles, abundance of fish, and marine wildlife right at the resort. Everything you would want to do you can right on site: surf, snorkel, swim, or just relax in the sun. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment are all provided. The location is perfect, you are within 10 mins to Lahaina, Whalers Village, golf courses, restaurants, and more! We really enjoyed the restaurants Star Noodle and Sansei for dinner. In Lahaina, Kimos is great for lunch and Pioneer Inn for breakfast. Trilogy Sailing excursions out of Lahaina are 5 star! Again perfect location because you have your own private, quiet and peaceful resort and beaches to enjoy and a short drive to everything listed above! We are recommending John and Val's rentals to everyone we know and will definitely be making this a frequent vacation spot for our family and friends! Thanks to John and Val for making our trip one to remember and we look forward to many more to come!

  This is one of my favorite areas of Maui - it's lush and beautiful, quiet and mellow yet the action is not far away if you want it and the snorkeling & turtles out on property's beach are amazing. Condo had beach chairs, a cooler backpack, beach towels & snorkeling gear to use which was awesome. Condo was well stocked, clean and comfortable. I love that it was a end unit, bottom floor....private, yet you're steps away from pool, beach, etc. The property has a lobby with stuff to borrow like sand toys for the kids and tons of books, a few movies and a few puzzles. The grounds are amazing and I was amazed at the dedication of the gardeners. We'd stay here again!
