Cozy lakefront cottage in the heart of vacation land on Lake Erie. This home is located in the private lakefront community of Sand Beach, and is perfect for a relaxing family vacation or a Lake Erie fishing adventure. The main bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed, while the guest bedroom has a bunk bed with twin-sized mattresses and a convertible futon with a full-sized mattress.

The family room is accentuated with stone and knotty pine and has a wood-burning fireplace, as well a huge window looking out to the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped and affords a great view of the lake to enjoy while cooking. The recently updated bathroom includes towels and linens and a washer and dryer. All rooms in the house offer spectacular lake views.

The exterior of the home is perfect for summer fun with a large patio and forty feet of Lake Erie frontage. Relax on the patio or enjoy swimming, shore fishing, or your favorite water sports on the lake. A private, fenced-in park is located across from the cottage, it is great for the kids and includes a basketball court, swings, slides, monkeybars, tetherball, and more. A gas grill sits ready for that perfect barbecued lunch or dinner. An outdoor fireplace provides the ultimate gathering place to take in those memorable Lake Erie sunsets.

Plenty of activities are just a short drive away, including the Cedar Point amusement park, the ferries to Put-in-Bay, Kelley’s Island, or Pelee Island, the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge (known for bird-watching and nature walks), the Marblehead Lighthouse, the community at Lakeside, and numerous specialty shops, wineries, and parks. There is truly something for everyone!

For the fisherman, this home looks out to the best walleye and yellow perch fishing on Lake Erie, with the Camp Perry reef complex only three miles offshore. A marina and launch ramps are less than a mile away, with over fifty-five fishing charters located on site. The marina also offers a restaurant, bar, overnight dock rentals, and convenience store, and numerous bait shops are also nearby. Don’t miss that early spring walleye action on the reefs, it is world-class!

    • Our family had a wonderful time during our stay! The cottage was perfect for us, inside and out, and in such a nice, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. Our kids loved playing on the beach, and the view from the deck was spectacular! Overall the cottage provided a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
