Plenty of activities are just a short drive away, including the Cedar Point amusement park, the ferries to Put-in-Bay, Kelley’s Island, or Pelee Island, the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge (known for bird-watching and nature walks), the Marblehead Lighthouse, the community at Lakeside, and numerous specialty shops, wineries, and parks. For the fisherman, this home looks out to the best walleye and yellow perch fishing on Lake Erie, with the Camp Perry reef complex only three miles offshore. A marina and launch ramps are less than a mile away, with over fifty-five fishing charters located on site. The marina also offers a restaurant, bar, overnight dock rentals, and convenience store, and numerous bait shops are also nearby.
