Enjoy the soft tradewinds and the sound of the palm fronds dancing in the tropical breeze. Coco Moon Grove is on the beautiful sunny side of the North Shore of Kauai, the lush garden island.
The three and three-tenths acre coconut palm farm overlooks pristine Larsen's Beach. It is nine-tenths of a mile down a quiet country road to the top of the trail and a short hike down to the exquisite golden sand beach. The area is rich with Hawaiian wildlife.
We are ten minutes south of historic Kilauea Town, the lighthouse and the bird sanctuary. It is only five minutes further north to the Princeville shops and the world class golf courses.
We also have a private studio Coco Moon Cottage which features two queen beds. If you have friends visiting you may want to rent both units.

We all love to play on the secluded Larsen's Beach just a short walk away. Coco Moon is gorgeous and relaxing any time of year.

On 3.3 acres, Coco Moon feels private and restful. A short walk takes us to one of the most beautiful beaches on the islands. There are plenty of fruit trees on the property that provide us with exotic flavors and lush foliage year round.

We are a fun loving family of eight. Our collective love of art, music, fresh air, travel and learning keeps our lives vivid and full of wonderful memories together.
One season we are taking in the crisp autumns, snowy winters, breathtaking mountain vistas and eclectic history of Northern New Mexico. Next we are soaking up the warm sunshine, tropical breezes, luscious flavors and sacred spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.
We are privileged to have found ourselves stewards of three remarkable properties in these magical locations. We have lovingly revived these homes, taking great care to honor the history and sacred space of each one.

My fiancee and I enjoyed a fantastic 7 days at this wonderful property in Jan 2011. House has charm and wonderful open concept. Master bed was incredibly comfortable and restful. Kitchen was well laid out and easy to make great meals. The spices on hand was a real time and money saver. The single best experience has to be the outdoor shower in the yard. Coming from a cold weather climate it was special experience to be in a coconut orchard with a private shower under the warmth of the sun, very liberating. Caretaker was great too.

Surrounded by your private three acre coconut grove, the house is FULLY equipped with comfortable beds and truly feels like the home it is, rather than a rental. Wake up in the morning and you can see the whales breaching from the bedroom window. Walk (or drive) the mile down the road to Larsen's Beach and walk another mile along the beach path and you won’t only see whales, you will literally run into sleeping monk seals, turtles and, if you go far enough, nesting albatrosses with their fluffy chicks. Then it is back to the house to pick a crop of coconuts, oranges and avocados from the garden and, perhaps, a few herbs from the vegetable garden to flavor your FRESH fish from the Hanalei Dolphin fish market. The farmers' markets supply an endless variety of unusual tropical fruits and vegetables to go with your fish. Paradise indeed! A.L.-Stonington, CT

Our family of 4 LOVED our stay at this beautiful property. Coco Moon is a paradise, and exceeded our expectations in every way! The expansive--real--coconut farm grove provided a wonderful place for my 9 and 12 yr old kids to explore. The 3 level treehouse, trampoline and 2 outdoor showers were unexpected treats. The home is very well furnished and tastefully decorated. We cooked great breakfasts and suppers each night in the well appointed kitchen and ate on the outdoor table. DO THIS--restaurants are RARE in this part of the island!! The king bed and kids' beds were very comfortable. The TV wasn't used much, but it is a quality unit with cable & DVD. Larsen's Beach was a short drive down a the dirt road, but the rip and surf was mountainous, 16 footers! Boogie boarding at Kalihiwai Beach (the most swimmable) was a blast, we spent 1.5 days there! Go to Moloa'a! A visit to Na Pali, many other north shore beaches, Kilauea Lighthouse, and Princeville rounded out our shore visit. (First part of our trip was on the south shore, see VRBO review # 54488). THANK YOU so much--this rental was very easy and was the best part of our trip! 1/8/11
