This luxury beach house is perfectly situated on St. Lawrence Street, one of the most charming and sought-after streets of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and just one block (two minute walk) from the wide open beaches of South Rehoboth. Property has views of gorgeous Silver Lake.
Built in 2001, this exclusive, elegant, spacious, custom-built property was never rented to the public prior to 2007, and has every accommodation one needs for a luxurious beach get-away, just a two and a one-half hours drive from the Nation's Capital.
Beautifully decorated with high-quality furniture, antiques, art objects from around the globe, hardwood floors, modern kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with Italian tiles, and great attention to detail and quality in design and decoration.
This four bedroom beach house features two master bedroom suites with private luxurious bathrooms.
The spacious first-floor master suite has 11' ceilings, large windows, double crown molding, and is decorated with quality cherry furniture, including four-poster bed, chest of drawers, dresser/vanity, and night stand. Ensuite private bathroom has Jacuzzi tub, separate double shower, large double vanity, and private toilet room.
The large second floor master suite with 10' ceilings has beautiful distressed white-painted furniture, including four-poster bed, double dresser with vanity mirror, armoire with digital cable TV hidden behind doors of top section, matching night stands, plus large private ensuite bathroom with eight foot long glass-block walled double shower and extensive tiling...double vanity, and walk-in closet. French doors open to private sun deck with two lounge chairs and a lovely view of Silver Lake.
The third bedroom sleeps two in two full-length twin beds with matching vanity/dresser and night stand (all painted in beautiful glazed antique white. Lots of light and large closet.
The fourth bedroom sleeps up to four in two sets of bunk beds (full-length, glaze painted in royal blue), with matching mustard yellow glazed dresser and large closet (view of Silver Lake from windows).
A full bathroom is dedicated to the third and fourth bedrooms.
Second floor has ten foot ceilings with fans in each bedroom and separate air conditioning controls zoned for the second level.
Separate laundry room has full-sized washer and dryer, with iron, ironing board, area to fold and hang-dry clothes, and is conveniently located on same floor as upstairs bedrooms.
This house has classic front porch with white painted wooden columns and rails, wainscoted ceiling, antique swing, rocker and antique painted wicker couch and cushions.
Enter from the porch into a large, open foyer with soaring twenty-five foot ceiling and custom chandelier. Large-scale windows abound and proximity to southern exposure fill the house with light, enhanced by design of open floor-plan, spacious rooms, and beautiful decorations/furnishings.
Step into open living room, with twelve foot ceilings, fan, recessed lighting, built-in bookshelves and entertainment center (TV, digital cable, high-quality stereo, DVD, VCR, CD), gas fireplace, and extensive use of double crown molding and custom white wainscoting (throughout the living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, and foyer).
Step into the dining room with custom-made antique walnut dining table and matching antique cabinet/sideboard, with eight matching antique walnut chairs.
Next, walk into sun room/sitting area and sit in one of two comfortable high-back upholstered chairs and read a book or just enjoy the sunny view.
Fully furnished kitchen includes blue granite countertops with white tiled backsplash and blue trim, white tumbled-marble floor tiles, refrigerator/freezer, glass cook top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, blender, food processor, electric tea kettle, coffee maker, pots, pans, several sets of glasses, complete set of china, cooking utensils and flatware, etc.
Outside is a screened porch, with ceiling fan/light, two white wicker love seats, wicker rockers, matching glass top and wicker side table, and wired exterior stereo speakers.
Adjacent to porch is sun deck with two reclining chairs and matching table. Adjacent to deck is a large custom enclosed exterior cedar-lined shower room, with sitting bench, and proper roof with interior lighting. Steps out to flagstone landing connected to sun deck.
Property has beautiful, established landscaping and irrigation system with interesting sea-grasses and flowering plants, including large "butterfly" bush that regularly attracts a wide variety of colorful and often ornate butterflies.

Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach
We searched for two years to find the right location for our beachhouse in Rehoboth Beach, and found the perfect spot, one block from the beach and boardwalk on beautiful and quiet St. Lawrence Street. This is one of the best streets to stay in Rehoboth! St. Lawrence Street is only two blocks in total length, is located in the highly desirable south part of Rehoboth Beach, just behind Silver Lake, and is only a 10-minute walk to center of town. The gorgeous section of beach off our street tends to be the least crowded of any section in Rehoboth, yet with all the amenities of the boardwalk and life-guard stations in summer.
The Unique Benefits at this Beachhouse
We custom built our beachhouse in 2001 for great year-round beach living. Large rooms, great light with 12' ceilings & large windows, custom moldings/wainscoting, well-decorated and landscaped, nice yard area for children to play, great views, and most all of the amentities one would expect for a luxurious beach vacation.
