The following are exerpts from our guest log at the house. "We were the first guests at Halekai Kiva. It is a beautiful home and we had a great week. The weather was great - mostly sunny and in the 70's all week. We didn't have a drop of rain. We enjoyed the beach, pool and tennis courts. The teenaged boys played basketball and also went skim boarding. ...We have also enjoyed the wildlife. The younger boys have caught lizards, fish, snakes and crabs. Make sure you check out the alligator and very large turtle in the swamp next door. ...The house and pool house were a perfect fit for our group. It is a lovely home and beautiful setting. Jim and Sarah were very attentive to our needs (don't hesitate to call them) and wanted to assure that we had a wonderful vacation and we did! Thanks Jim!" "We had a GREAT time! Thanks for sharing your lovely home. The pictures on the Internet don't do it justice - particularly the pool! Beautiful!" "The house is perfect! We enjoyed the pool and the grill and my grandson loved the spa tub. We had a slife show the last night using your TV with media card slot! We have visited Gulf Shores many many times but were most comfortable "at home" in your lovely house. (Didn't see snakes or alligators) We played golf on the beautiful (but difficult) Kiva course and tried out all of the courses in the area. We even "minitured" golf. We spent hours on the beaches. Our favorite is by the Ala.-Fla. bridge. We saw dolphins, sting rays and many fish. We ate at the Tin Top in Bon Secour, had drinks at the Pink Pony Pub and munched on Shrimp Po Boys at the Shrimp Basket..." "Sally and Jim, Thank you for a wonderful week. We and our guests loved everything - the beautiful houses, the view, the great golf course, peace and quiet, stars at night, many walks on the beach, etc. This time of year is spectacular. We had a delicious dinner at Mangos in Orange Beach and loved our lunch at Bahama Bob's. A very special walk on the beach was from the end of Mobile Road east to Laguna Key - very peaceful. Sunrises and sunsets are magnificent!"
