Thank you Micki & Rick so very much for giving us one of the best vacations ever! We enjoyed your condo very much and it was nice to have so much room and privacy. We had everything that we needed and really enjoyed the view off the lanai. We watched the whales in the morning and even in the afternoon once. Your condo came with everything we needed, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler. It was nice to walk into such a clean and roomy place, the breeze was so nice that we never even needed the air conditioner on, the ceiling fans worked fine. We enjoyed cooking by the pool and the Weber grills were always clean. It was nice to be walking distance to the Brewhouse and Dollies for their Happy Hour. Boss Frog was very helpful for our adventure sites and all walkable distance. The beach across the road was always great for a morning swim and walk, everyone is so polite and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves so much and hope to return and will definitely call to stay in your condo again. This was our 1st VRBO and it turned out to be better than we could ever imagine. Thank you both so much for allowing us to stay at your condo and I would recommend your place to anyone looking for a spacious 2 bedroom, beautiful view of the Ocean place to stay in West Maui. Just bring a few swim suits and change of clothes and you have the rest there, very nice!! We would give you a 5 star ratings! Hope to see you again !

Kahana Condo

Our family have just enjoyed a fabulous stay in Kahana. Receiving excellent information directly from the owner prior to our arrival in Maui helped us settle into the very spacious and clean condo quickly. The condo was well equipped with useful extras such as coolers, water bottles, beach chairs and body boards. We enjoyed the quieter location which was across the road from a very clean beach but with a very short dirive could easily access DT Fleming beach for body surfing,or Lahaina and Kaanapali when we wanted to access water activities and night life. Would highly recommend to friends and family and we can't wait until Spring Break next year.

Stayed during March. The view was amazing. Sunsets and whales every night, and a cool ocean breeze all day. The location is great for a quick walk to the beach across the street for the kids, and is within walking distance of the Maui Brewing Company. It is also in the middle between two "popular" beaches for a short ride to one of the larger snorkel beaches. The property itself was clean and nice, well maintained, and the owner did a good job listing out all the little details. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

This Kahana condo was perfect for our family. Having quick access to the beach (right across the street) was ideal and like everyone else, we love, love loved watching the whales breach from the lanai. This condo is beautiful and offers incredible views of the ocean and the afternoon sun on the lanai feels so good. Kahana provides quick access to Kaanapali and Lahaina and other fabulous Maui locations - but is quiet and relaxing. Micki, thank you so much. You made the entire process so easy and worry-free. You were always quick to respond and the instructions and tips that you provided throughout the rental process answered all of our questions and set us up for a great vacation with our kids (19 and 21). MAHALO!

It felt more like a home than a rental. We really enjoyed our down times there before and after our busy days. It was everything described and more. Watching the whales every morning with breakfast and a cup of coffee was just mezmering. The area had more of a neighborhood feel than a busy tourist area and we just loved that. The two gas grills in the pool area were great for dinners. A couple of questions I had about the unit were answered immediately by the owner. We all want to go back so bad and when we do we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our vacation even more special.

A wonderful home

This condo was perfect for our family (2 couples and one toddler). It was beautiful, well maintained, very convenient to the beach, shops, pool, etc. The view was out of this world - most days we sat and stared at the surfers and whales from the lanai for hours! (we saw dozens of humpbacks every day - amazing!). A good value. The owners were easy and pleasant to work with.

Kahana Condo- Stunning Ocean Views

We just returned from 10 days at this beautiful condo. The layout was perfect for our family, as both our girls had the second bedroom right across the hall from us. The master bedroom has gorgeous views from the floor to ceiling windows and we all had our own bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the the lanai was fantastic. Our favourite thing was to sit on the lanai and soak up the sun while watching the whales breaching right in front of us. It was truly amazing. Thanks Micki for letting us stay at your wonderful home.

Family trip to Maui

I took our family of 5 to Maui (me, my wife and our three sons ages 17,14 and 9). This was an AWESOME spot to stay in Maui. Very clean, beautiful view and great location. You can also walk to restaurants and convenience stores which is a big plus! Owners leave great information as to how to enjoy both the condo and Maui. Would LOVE to stay hear again and highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for making your condo available as our home base during our wonderful family vacation in Maui. We were very impressed with the views of the sunset from the lanai and the convenient walk across the street to one of the best beaches around. Kahana is located perfectly, close enough to the shops and restaurants in and around Lahaina, yet far enough out of the hustle-bustle of cruise ship tourists attempting to get a week's worth of activity into their six hour shore leave. The pool/hot tub and BBQ facilities on site were straight up fun. The best memory for my wife and I was hearing the crash of the ocean while falling asleep at night and waking up to a view of the ocean from the master bedroom, then enjoying great coffee with fresh fruit on the lanai while watching the local surfers at the park and the whales jumping. The snorkeling at the Kahana beach is superb, many reported seeing large turtles and fish near the rocks off the park. We enjoyed many side trips as well. The road to Hana, a whale watching trip with the Pacific Whale Foundation, The Aquarium, golf, as well as Deep sea fishing with Start Me Up Charters. There were many places close for dining, we used the Maui Revealed book as a guide and where we strayed from their recommendations were still very satisfying (Maui Brewing Company beer is top notch). Great family vacation!!

We had a great stay!!! The location of the condo was wonderful. Our oldest son and his wife were pleasantly surprised to have surfing right across the street. They didn't have to drive anywhere with the surf boards and paddle boards. Also Boss Frogs is walking distance to rent gear. We all got up every morning drinking our morning coffee and watching them surf from our lani. My husband and I loved the snokling there too. The beach is quiet and peaceful with a nice tree for shade when the sun got too much! The condo is very clean, well-maintained and spacious enough for at least 5-6 adults. Very open and airy, never needed to use air conditioner. Of course, our teenage son enjoyed having internet to stay in touch with his friends. We loved the farmers market close by too. We have been to Maui many times over the last 18 years and this may have been one of our best family vacations ever!!! We will be back! Thank you- Micki

Stayed here for 2 Christmas vacations

We travel from Vancouver to Maui a lot and stayed in this condo twice over Xmas. It is everything you expect plus more. Clean, big, and a great view. It is close to everything and the beach across the street is pretty good as well. My wife loved having her morning coffee and watching the wales from the lanai [bring binoculars]. DT Fleming beach is a few minutes north, which is the best boogie boarding beach in Maui. The bonus internet connection is good for using Skype and Facebook, so bring your laptop or iPhone. I hurt my knee and had to change my return flight and the owners were very helpful. Thanks for the great pad Micki & Rick.

The pictures are true to what you get. It's clean comfortable and has a great ocean view which is the first thing you see when you walk in. The boogey boards were an added treat along with the beach chairs. The beach was clean and we saw sea turtles over by the rocks. It had plenty of room for two couples and the couch was heavenly. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to be able to do laundry. For the price it was the best deal in Maui. Micki sent directions and all the information we needed for our stay. I loved the location it was close to my favorite beaches Kaanapali and Napili. I would also recommend driving to the blow hole up from Napili beach past the lighthouse. The road to Hana is also a must see. Our favorite restaurant was Pacific O's in Lahaina. Thanks Micki we had a great time and our damage deposit check was returned without any hassle. I would recommend this place. The date on this survey isn't working our actual arrive date was Nov. 8, 2010.

Micki Just thought I would drop you a line and thank you for our wonderful stay at your condo. It was in an excellent location, the view was spectacular even the beach in front was better than I expected. My son got plenty of use of the boogey boards and snorkel equip. Visited Maui for the first time in mid-March. I absolutely loved this condo. It was perfect for four people -- loved that there were two bathrooms (and the view from the master? Amazing!) We loved breakfast on the lanai -- couldn't ask for better ocean side dining! And the sunset wasn't too shabby either (bring binoculars to spy on the whales out at sea if you're there during whale season -- we saw tons of them from afar.) The condo is super clean, well-appointed, and comfy (seriously, I want the sofa for my own house!) The kitchen was very workable and we made dinner there a couple of times. The pool/hot tub on the premises was an awesome place for a late-afternoon swim or evening soak. The area was clean and comfortable -- and if you sit in just the right spot, you have an ocean view from the pool deck! It's also in a fabulous location -- not too far from Lahaina, Ka'annapali, and super close to our new favorite beach, Kapalua. Also close to lots of walkable shops, restaurants, etc. I liked feeling more like a local than a tourist staying in a huge resort. Basically, we really wanted to move in, but instead, we had to return to our real lives on the mainland. Now I'm spending my days trying to figure out a plan to get back!!!

We stayed a week in this Kahan Villa condo during January 2010. This condo was very comfortable and spacious and perfect for our family. This unit was fully equipped with all the confort of a home, and had a gorgeous ocean view from the lanai and the master bedroom. We enjoyed the view so much, we enjoyed many sunset dinners on the lanai. The unit is centrally located yet it offers you the escape from the typical commercialized hotel resort. Our only regret, we should have stayed for another week instead of hopping to another island. We highly recommend this union to everyone!! Henry and Jeanette

We were very happy with the condo! There were no disappointments! It was perfect for us. We enjoyed dinners on the deck while watching whales. The grounds around the condo are so pretty, well kept and tidy. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub too! I'm glad we stayed in the town of Kahana. It was a little quieter but close enough to other towns for shopping, activities and dinning. All in all we had a fantastic trip!

Our family of 4 stayed in November 2009 and had a fantastic time. The condo was comfortable, clean, quiet, great pool, pretty much everything you could want. We were within walking distance of a great beach, restaurants and shopping. Micki provided us with some great suggestions on things to see around Maui which we took her up on. Thank you so much, we loved staying in your condo. It was very accommodating, and everyone we met there was so friendly, we loved it. We saw whales and enjoyed watching the surfers in the morning, from the deck. We had the greatest time, it was so hard to come back to Alaska. We toured the whole island, drove the road to Hana (took two days), and then went west around the other side, awesome. Ron and the kids went surfing, and we all went snorkeling, we got everyone from the 4 yr old up snorkeling, we drove up the volcano, it was so cool. The kids are already planning our next trip.

We were guests from Jan 26 to April 19, 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, coffee every morning on the Lanai, watching for whales of which we saw many. The view from the Lanai is fantastic, being able to see the islands of Molokai and Lanai. We especially liked the area because it is quiet as well as beautiful, and a fairly short ride to anywhere we wanted to go. We felt very much at home and wish we were back in 507. The condo is spacious and well-equipped with all kitchen utensils, pots/pans, etc. you can think of. The view is also absolutely fabulous. We even saw a whale from our balcony!

We were at the condo from February 1 to 22, 2008. We had a wonderful time. The condo is nicely decorated and well equipped - very homey. There was lots of whale action to watch during our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the lanai! All in all, very enjoyable holiday.

Your condo is wonderful! What a beautiful view to wake up to every morning and the sunsets were fantastic. We even saw a whale while enjoying our morning coffee on the lanai.
