  The weather was perfect, the place was great, the neighbors were wonderful, the dining table by the pool made every meal enjoyable. The only thing that left a bad feeling was the person in charge of watching over the place. Every day he entered the property for some reason, went over a long list of rules to obey and when we were leaving blamed us for things that were like that when we arrived. Felt like our mother was watching all the time.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

  Condo was colorful, beautifully furnished with numerous kitchen gadgets, auto ice dispenser, air conditioner in each room, plenty of beach towels, a helpful property manager and friendly neighbors! The walk is more than 4 minutes but is pleasant. Coco tours is a 4 minute walk down the street to arrange excursions and arrange pick up to and from the airport for $35.00 in a van! On site gym was fabulous. Must stay more than a week to savor the country. We stayed the month! Owner was extremely helpful to supply info prior to visit. The two on site pools are immaculate and the grounds pristine with daily attendants and a pleasant night guard. I would highly recommend this condo but try to stay more than a week. It was 83 degrees at 8 AM reaching the 90's by 11:00 am each day. Always a breeze from the ocean. Never had the need to use AC in bedroom with the large screen window and ceiling fan. Waking to the sound of the howler monkey at 5:15 ish am and the tropical birds was appealing at best. Be sure to bring your bug spray, sun screen, debit card and lots of cash. Plan to walk to the farmers market to purchase fresh fruits an vegetables on Ocotel Road: fabulous prices and variety. Sun dresses are a must and can be bought in town for $15-20. Nights are warm in feb. so bring light clothing. We went fishing for the day and I caught a 30 pound maui Maui and 25 pound jack revel. One man reeled in a 250 pound blue marlin.

  This property is in a condo community with a great international mix of residents. We got to know a few of the neighbors who were helpful and kind when we had a bit of health trouble. The condo itself is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, and the ceiling fans and AC make the outside heat a non-issue when indoors. The kitchen has everything a person could need. We contributed to the beach chair collection at the end of our stay; you'll also find fishing rods and snorkeling gear. We hope to return here often!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  We had a wonderful vacation in Playas De Coco. The condo was perfectly situated for a family with 3 adult children. The kids had their freedom to walk to the beach and town. We had comfortable beds, plenty of space, very clean, and well equipped for a vacation with snorkeling gear, beach towels, chairs, etc... The pools were very well maintained and the people very friendly. It was very secure in every aspect. Close drive to a lot of attractions. I would highly recommend the Adventure Tour at Hotel Guachipelin if you have older kids. Plenty of good and interesting restaurants within walking distance. The night life had something for everyone. I really cannot think of one thing that was lacking. Come and Enjoy!

  This is a wonderful property, well maintained and exceptionally comfortable. Kip and Debbie have done a stunning job of decorating and ensuring all the necessities are in place as well as a number of perks. The photos just don't do it justice. This condo is in a great gated community that is safe and quiet. Not too far from the local action/nightlife if you want to enjoy that too. The walk into town is enjoyable if you take the beach route but I would recommend renting a car as the distances seem to differ in translation from Canadian to "Tico"! Restaraunts, groceries, sodas and coffee shops are all but a $2.00 taxi ride if you don't want to drive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a wonderful week in the sun. Kip and Debbie truly made this a home away from home for us! Coco Tours will do airport pickups and drop offs for $45.00 with door to door service.

  The Villa really surprised me! From the featherbed to thick bath towels. It was just like being at home. Nice and relaxing with the pools and hot tub, even a hammock out back! Everything was close by, the beach, restaurants(check out the Four Seasons pizza at La Dolce Vita), internet cafe and Italian ice cream!Great bargains on gifts downtown and a bakery! Plan to come back soon!

  Costa Rica was absolutely wonderful! Staying in Coca Beach made it easy to visit both Arenal and Monteverde. The villa had everything we needed! Two pools just outside our front door and a 5 minute walk to the beach! Breakfast every morning was out by the pool! How relaxing! I will definately be back!

  Third time here! Everytime I leave here, I wonder why I just don't live here. Not only does it feel like home, but there are lots of "extras" I don't have at home. Love the people of Coco, the beach, scuba diving, food and Margaritas at Father Rooster's. I would recommend it to anybody who just needs to get away and forget everything.
