Rue de l'Odeon is amongst the most beautiful and well-preserved streets in the sixth area of of Paris. It runs from the Théatre de l'Odeon which is just behind the Luxembourg Gardens down the Boulevard Saint Germain. The streets wide and quiet,( there is very little traffic), and has a mixture of small clothes boutiques, antique shops, rare book dealers, and chicinterior decorators.
The apartment which is 770 square feet is on the sixth floor of a classical 19th century building.A recently installed elevator comes to the fifth floor.
The front of the apartment overlooks the street and there is a quiet courtyard to the rear. It is full of light with views over the roof tops of the city. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. The largest of the bedrooms (which overlooks the street) has a fireplace, a large wardrobe, and a king size bed which can be split into two singles. The bathroom (which has a bath tub) and toilet are opposite. The smaller bedroom has a queen sized bed (which can also be divided), a wardrobe, and a desk. A shower room and toilet are opposite.
The bedrooms are equipped with good quality bed-linen and duvets. The living room is large and very light with old beams and a working fireplace. There are wooden floors throughout the apartment. There is a large sofa , modern armchairs and a dining table that will seat six people. There is a large flat screen television with cable connection giving access to CNN, BBC etc. and a good quality radio and stereo system. For guests who want to use their own computer there is a high speed wireless internet connection. There is air conditioning in the livingroom to keep the the temperatures comfortable during the summer months. The kitchen, which has a window overlooking the courtyard, was installed in 2007 and has all the modern amenities.
The apartment was completely restored and refurbished in 2007 with the object of creating a stylish and comfortable living space with the best quality furnishing, fittings and equipment.
Prices include weekly cleaning and change of bed-linen. We also provide 2 cell phone, a "starter kit" of food basics (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, butter, oil, vinegar, juice, milk, bottles water) or more on demand .
Time and dates of arrival are free and a staff will be greeting you at your arrival.

After spending four days in the Champagne region we came back to Paris and checked into this charming apartment right in the middle of what we have always called our "hood". It was the perfect location for two couples traveling in France to celebrate birthdays. Henri does a beautiful job to provide a few necessaties especially the coffee! The beds are comfortable and it is great for us to sit and relax in the living room together after a long day at Versailles. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is steps away from Saint Germain, and only 10 mins to the river. Plenty of shops and restaurants in every direction. The apartment itself is very compact but with all mod cons. When the cooker stopped working, the property management arrived around promptly to fix it even tho it was dinnertime. Thanks for that, Xavier! The beds were very comfortable and linen etc, were in good condition. The bathrooms and kitchen could be cleaner but I am very particular about these things. The aircon was a blessing in the heat of the day. Overall I think it's most comfortable for 4 people, or a family with 3 kids max. The stairs up 1 floor from the elevator did not prove to be much bother for us, but not great if you have prams / strollers / wheelchairs. The location again, is just fab!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

Two bedrooms and two small bathrooms in the heart of the Left Bank - a fantastic location Used as a home base to visit all the key sites - Notredame (walking distance), the Lourvre, Tour Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Galleries Lafayette, Montmartre etc. Quiet, well appointed apartment. We had a small problem with the power going out every now and then (especially after my wife's hair dryer was turned on) but this is very typical of older buildings in Paris. Would stay again.

This fifth floor two bedroom flat was very comfortable for two couples traveling together and is ideally situated in a lively neighborhood, but on a relatively quiet street. The Odeon Metro station is very close by, and the St. Michel RER station is only a few blocks. The flat has two decent sized bedroom, although the bathrooms are rather small, as is the kitchen. The washer/dryer is in one unit and a little confusing to operate. There is an air conditioner, but it was not working (and fortunately not really needed) during our stay. The living room/dining room is spacious and comfortable with a flat screen tv with English language programming. There is WIFI in the unit, and two cell phones for local usage are provided. The flat was clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained, although in quite an old building, and wood floors are not even and ceilings are rather low. The lift, quite a small one, goes only to the fourth floor, so pack lightly, as you will have to carry what you have up the final, narrow, flight of stairs. The owner was easy to work with, meets you at the flat with keys and provides a walk through of the equipment in the flat, and made good recommendations for activities and local restaurants (Marco Polo, one block over from the flat was a real winner). There are a number of sandwich shops, cafes and bistros in the area, as well as at least three cinemas, the Odeon Theater, shops and boutiques, antiquities and book stores. This is a great neighborhood and we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.
