Claviers is a small picturesque village situated in a mountainous area with olive trees and wineyards. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with beautiful surroundings, this is the place, but it is also possible to visit numerous small towns, olive press, vineyards and markets nearby, as well as play golf and go hiking. Prepare for your next entry in Tour de France biking on the dwindling roads. It takes 45 minutes by car to go south to the fashionable resorts on the coast like St Tropez and a bit longer to Cannes.
In the charming and authentic village,which is at a 5 minutes walking distance, there is a food shop, a baker with gorgeous bread,a gift shop, a postal office, a tourist office, 2 restaurants, a tea room, pizza baker, a bar and a petanque area. A food market is held on Saturdays. There is also a doctor and a chiropractor. A small spa is scheduled for next year.
The flat is the upper of a two-flat villa surrounded by a garden on a sunny hillside. There is a huge terrace with a fabulous view of the village, which one never gets tired of. At night dinner on the terrace with the view of a flood lighted Claviers is spectacular.
The flat (120m2) consists of an entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator and freezer. The big lounge has a fire place, TV, stereo music unit, sofa sitting group and french doors opening to the terrace.
In the dining room, there is a dining table and french doors opening to the terrace. The two big bedrooms have king beds (and one has a crib) and there is a small bedroom under the roof with a double bed. There are two guest toilets and a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
If the weather permits, you can have all your meals on the big terrace and admire the romantic view of Claviers. There are dining tables, sun chairs and an outdoor kitchen. Next to the secluded terrace is the swimming pool, which also overlooks the village and is shared with the lower flat.

We arrived on Saturday and are really enjoying the house. It is very comfortable and has everything we need. The weather is very warm and sunny, just what the doctor ordered. The front patio is magnetic ... we have spent 90% of our time sitting out there. The directions were excellent and we had no problems finding it . Enjoying every minute.
