  We have rented this property for several years now and stayed for a month. We always found the house extremely clean and comfortable. The owners are great people and have always made us feel at home. We love staying there! I would highly recommend renting any of their properties. Thank you guys for another wonderful vacation!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.

  This home is very large and is in a great section of Ocean Lakes. Unfortunately it is getting worn down due to a lack of maintenance and TLC. The furniture on the large deck is old and worn out. It was hard to comfortably sit outside in the evenings. There were problems with both the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room during our stay. The house itself, while lovely, was filthy when we arrived and we spent a good part of our arrival day cleaning the floors, referigerator and bathrooms. There were also issues with the extra golf cart that we paid to have available for our use. There are not many houses where our dog family members are welcome, and this house had plenty of space for them. However this house needs some major cleaning, both inside and outside, and just a little love to bring it back to what it once was. While we enjoyed our stay it was not worth the money that we paid.

  Owner response: This is absolutely not true. The renters left the house dirty and we had to do a full cleaning when they left. 150.00 was deducted from thier deposit because they did not clean. They stayed june 17th and did a review aug 13th nearly 2 months later. They did this due to thier deposit being taken. There is a new dryer and if there was a problem with the washer it was fixed as soon as it was reported unless a part had to be ordered. The dryer went out one day and was replaced the next with a new dryer . This house is checked after each renter and clean when the guests arrive. The outside table and chairs are not new but the cushions were replaced last year and the table is glass top and metal with metal swivel rockers and they were not broken. We had the house pressure washed before summer and we do the repairs that need to be made weekly if possible. The house is blowed underneath each week and maintained. The golf carts are nearly new and run good. they did not call about any of these problems and did not have a problem until the deposit was retained when it was not properly cleaned. We take pride in out rental and work very hard to keep it where our renters can enjoy thier stay with us. We have several renter who rent year to year and are very happy with the house.

  This house was so much like home: clean, up-to-date and spacious! My family, my siblings and parents and I have been frequenting Ocean Lakes for the past 6 years. We typically rent through the main office. However, this time, we went out on a limb to rent from owners and lucked up with Trudy. We all will rent this house and others in the future! Some family members rented from a different owner and found that their place was mediocre at best. The same care wasn't extended to the other owner's home unfortunately. If all owners followed this model, they would receive only great reviews! Property management really takes pride in their homes. Trudy, we look forward to it year after year! Thanks for the experience!!!

  We have just arrived home and we miss the beach already. Trudy's house was great! big,clean and so much like being at home instead of a vacation property. The neighbors are so friendly and nice. We hope to come to Myrtle Beach next year and we will rent from Trudy. Thanks for all your help this week.

  This home is AMAZING! Our family truely enjoyed every moment and memory this home allowed us to have. I was completely amazed at the space. Bedroom upstairs was HUGE! It slept every single child in our family. They had their own little "hang out" while the adults enjoyed the spacious downstairs. If we were not on the golf carts participating in every FREE family activity the campground offered, We were relaxing on the HUGE covered front porch with ceiling fans and a nice breeze every night. It was VERY nice to go back to the home and relax away from the congestion. The location was so peaceful and quiet. This home made this the best beach vacation our family has ever had. We plan to continue to rent from Trudy as our family grows and will have to rent several homes to accommodate us all. We can't wait to do it again and see what her other homes offer as well. Wish we would have rented from her for the last 10 years of family vacations. Now that we are back home and our vacation is over, the first words when we arrived at the home are still the only thing we can say to sum it up...... WOW!!!!!!
