Our unit has new washer/dryer, cabinets/appliances in the kitchen, new ceiling fans in the bedrooms, along with great views of the sugar sand beach and new outdoor pool from the rear balcony and Kiva Dunes golf course, tennis/basketball courts and Bon Secur Bay from the front porch. There are miles of white sandy beach for you to enjoy and of course, the Gulf of Mexico.
The Plantation is a large, beautifully landscaped, family oriented private complex located on the Gulf, just 12 miles west of the town of Gulf Shores.
The town of Gulf Shores has great shopping, restaurants, mini golf courses, zoo and amusement parks. And, Fort Morgan offers great opportunities to explore and learn the history of the area.

Why the Owner Chose Plantation East
We love the beach. The Plantation is very family oriented which is what we were looking for and it has all the amenities we wanted. It is a little off the beaten path but we like that becuase our beach is more private. The Plantation is a large complex but you never feel crowded. Our unit has great views of the Gulf and the Bay, is very comfortable and convenient to all the amenities.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Just to get away from all the hustle and bustle of home and work. It is so relaxing. It's the only time I get to read. But if we want more adventure, everything is available just a few miles away.

Margaret and Frank Alphonso, formerly of Chalmette, La. (pre Katrina) now residents of Slidell, La. Parents of 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Hard working couple who love the beach but since we can't be there all the time, we love to see others enjoy our beach, pools, tennis and golf. We work hard to keep our unit updated, clean and very comfortable. We love the open space, landscape, family atmosphere and all the amenities of our complex and know others do too.

I visited Gulf Shores in August with three of my friends and we had a wonderful time. The condo was beautiful and we had everything that we needed. It was the perfect amount of space for all four of us and we really enjoyed our stay. It was rainy the first half of the week and the indoor pool was great and very convenient. The complex had a zillion pools and they were all wonderful. The one right outside of our balcony was great. It was very big and never crowded. We loved the peace and quiet. Also, the owners have little notes everywhere telling you how to use different appliances and recommending places to go to eat. We will definitely look to rent this unit again.

We have vacationed at GS Plantation for many years and this condo is one of the best! We especially enjoyed the gulf and bay views from two balconies. Another plus for us was the big dining table with 6 chairs. The washer/dryer was such a bonus for drying beach towels for 3 grandchildren. The owners are so great to work with. All questions were always answered promptly. We hope to enjoy this wonderful unit again on our next visit.

The condo had everything we could think of needing! It was very clean, and comfortable. The complex is family friendly, quiet and uncrowded. The owner is incredibly kind and worked with us. I have recommended this rental to all of my friends and family.

We loved the condo and it was convenient to everything at the resort. It was nice being in the building with the indoor pool because the kids like to go down in the evening before bedtime. Condo was tastefully decorated and just as pictured and described. Loved having washer and dryer in unit - we could pack lighter and do a load of clothes plus it was great for drying wet beach towels. I have been to Gulf Shores Plantation several times but this first time in this unit. I would recommend it to friends. Thanks for sharing it with us!

We went down to Gulf Shores for my nephew's 8th birthday. It was so much fun. Everyone in the complex was so friendly and welcoming. The condo was exactly like the pictures. This is a wonderful condo to rent and the owners were extremely helpful with all of our questions. We will definitely be back.

We just wanted to enjoy the whole family somewhere on the beach well this place was really a treat, it was 8 of us (two really small kids)! The condo was very comfortable, plenty of extra pillows so don't bring any like we did. We had the best weather you could ever have is July we opened all windows and doors and enjoyed a wonderful breeze when we were in the condo. Most of our time was spent on the beach or in one of the pools. We especially enjoyed the beach at night for hours the stars were so beautiful! The owner has the place stocked with almost everything you need! I would definitely return and tell other people about this place! You will not be disappointed!

This was our second year of reguesting this particular condo. It was such a pleasant stay the first time, we wanted to stay in the same place once again! The accomondation are clean and comfortable. The unit has everything you need from a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer to a flat screen TV in the living room. The weather was wonderful as well as the amnentities of the plantation.

Our stay was wonderful. The owner is great to work with and has provided a wealth of information for your stay with a cork board and notes for everything from local entertainment to how to operate to TV. This unit is very nicely decorated and maintained. The washer and dryer in the unit is a stand out feature. The Plantation complex is the best around with activities and amenitites like no other. We will look again next year for this unit.

We stayed on the weekend of April 19,2008. We had a great time and the Condo was perfect. We all would recommend this unit to anyone. 4 people is the perfect number to stay here and be comfortable.
