This is a lovely condo offering well appointed, spacious rooms. The two master suites (one upstairs, one downstairs) offer privacy for two couples. The third bedroom downstairs has two queen beds and an attached smaller bathroom. I could see using this place for a family of three generations offering everyone a space. The only surprise that has me rating this a "good experience" instead of an "excellent experience" is that the posting doesn't tell you that your ocean view is limited to the lanai and the kitchen window. I expected that I would see the ocean view directly out from the living room/lanai. This condo faces north not west and to see the distant ocean view you must look left when you come onto the lanai. That was disappointing especially when you consider the picture that is posted with the rental information.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family of three adult couples found this home to be a perfect setting for a relaxing and invigorating vacation. Everything needed was at the house for the beach. We cooked in most days using the bargeque grill on the lanai. There were so many things to do near the home including a fitness center, beach club and walks. Shopping was convenient in the community or in Waimea. We took several day trips to see sites.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My family, including my two young daughters, stayed in this home for five nights last week (Feb. 2012). The home is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully decorated, high-end finishes, and very large. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is located in a lovely resort community which has restaurants and beaches. The neighborhood itself has a decent-sized pool and hot tub, plus a nice fitness facility. Right next door is a shopping area which has a number of shops, a grocery store, and two coffee/smoothie shops that we frequented. Every member of our family loved our stay in this home and we would absolutely stay here on our next trip to Hawaii.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained home as shown in listing, and we are already recommending it to friends and other family members. E-mails were promptly answered and every effort was made by owners to make this an outstanding vacation reunion. Family cooking presented some challenges for lack of larger pots. Nice linens and available beach towels, but scarcity of face cloths and dishcloths. Convenient shopping nearby, availability of resort amenities, nearness to beach, make this and ideal getaway for a family. No handicap access, however. Aloha!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We spent 10 nights at this property at the end of March and loved it! There were 3 adults and 4 kids and we had more than enough room. Everything was clean and well thought out. Lovely views and a nice yard for kids to play on. Very close to the pool and hot tub. We loved the owners beach. Snorkeling was so much fun there. Easy even for younger children. We will definately be returning. Thanks Rick for sharing your wonderful home with us. Best vacation ever!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My three generation, 8-member family enjoyed several beautiful days and nights on the Big Island, and this home was a perfect choice. We loved being on the golf course with a nice view of the ocean and stunning sunsets every night! What great memories. The home is beautifully decorated and welcoming. My parents stayed in the huge main floor master, while on the lower level (garage level) my husband and I had the master and our three teenage daughters shared the bedroom with two queen beds. Our teenage son spread out on the sofa bed in the family room. With 3.5 bathrooms, we had plenty of space. Meals were easy with the two dining tables (one in and one on the patio) and seating at the kitchen island. Rick was very accommodating when asked for information about the area. Thank you, Rick, for the opportunity to stay at your lovely townhome in Hawaii! We hope to return sometime soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us the last week of March. We were very pleased with the location & all the amenities. It was everything we expected & more. Each night we felt as if we were coming home instead of going to a hotel. The nearby restaurants, golf & shopping opportunities were also an asset.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My husband, two young daughters, mother, sister and brother-in-law all stayed here for a week and loved it! The house is beautiful, spacious, very nicely decorated, and stocked with everything you would need to be able to live as if you were at home. Of course at home you probably don't have views of the ocean, swaying palm trees, a volcano, and a golf course - but you will if you stay at this lovely rental house.
