    We decided to stay at this property over Christmas for 2 reasons. First, it was located close to family in SE Portland, and second-it was on the way to Mt.Hood for skiing. We were very happy with the place, only a 3 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of downtown Troutdale, and a nicely stocked kitchen with all of the wine glasses and dishes that we needed for our evenings in. The living room has a nice cozy gas fireplace, and access to a cute deck out the back. Because the house has A/C and is set up for comfort in both winter and summer, I'm sure that we'll be back again!

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

    We are a family of six adults who stayed at DaGorge Townhouse for a wedding at nearby McMenamin's at Edgefield. It was incredibly convenient - a little over a mile away. We flew into Portland (PDX) and the access to the home is very easy - as is access to other freeways to go into Portland or up the Gorge or to Mt. Hood. The home was spotless and attractive with plenty of living space and a very well-equipped kitchen. The owners were helpful with questions and we just wish we had been able to stay and enjoy their great home a little longer!

    The place is very well kept and everything we need are in working order. You seem to be considerate of your guests' needs by adding items need by request.I am sure visitors staying here will be very appreciative. It is also very nice of you to let others use your home. It is beautiful and we will take care of it. Thank you for sharing the background on the furnishings, great stories. We did go and see the Multnomah Waterfall,enjoyed it very much. Will return to see it again tomorrow w/ the kids

    Nothing less than wonderful - just as described. We truly enjoyed our visit and your little abode- perfect for walking in town for a snack or nibble :) The cleaners had beautiful fluffy green towels hanging all pretty... Thanks again for sharing this wonderful slice of heaven! Cheers Michelle Ps we both finished our 31 mile race over the waterfalls in great time! Beautiful!

    We had a great time at DaGorge house! We had a mini family reunion with 4 of our 7 siblings getting together for fun and lots of pinochle. Attached is a picture of my sisters, Colleen from Tacoma and Dona from Kona, with the best hand of the weekend... 1500 trump, which automatically wins the game. Thanks again for providing us the opportunity of having a lovely family weekend!

    Probably our favorite thing about the townhome was location: We enjoyed cycling on the old Columbia River Highway, Hiking in the Gorge, Golfing at McMenamin's, heading downtown, and various family members are nearby. Tad and Helen were great to work with, and very promptly returned the deposit. The house is nice, clean, and comfortable. I found the master bed too firm, but my wife liked it.

    Well we made it back home and just wanted to say thanks again for sharing your townhouse with us. It was the perfect place and met all of our needs. One day we went to the Gorge, one day to the beach, one day to Mt. St. Helens and one day explored the city. It was a great place to stay.

    We had an excellent experience in our most recent Portland visit. This Owner is very insightful about the area and prompt with contact regarding our stay. The home was convenient to all our travel spots. My sister got married at nearby Edgefield McMinamens winery and the home was just 2 miles away for our 6 family members to stay and attend the event. We enjoyed nearby Multnomah Falls and walking around the "Norman Rockwell" town of Troutdale. My husband enjoyed walks down by the Sandy river just a 5 min walk from the townhouse. Clean, confortable, Quite Enjoyable. We highly recommend it to those staying in the Portand Area. Thanks for such a great time. Hope to see you again soon.

    We stayed in this great townhouse for a week in July. It was spacious, clean & comfortable - just perfect for us, our daughter's family & our older son's family. It was very conveniently located for our younger son's wedding in Portland and we had a wonderful time. What a find!

    We stayed in the lovely townhouse for a week in March when it was particularly cold and wet, but we were warm and cozy in the townhouse. Loved the gas fireplace! We had two little ones along with five adults and had plenty of room. It was only minutes to the Gorge and two minutes to lovely downtown Troutdale. Easy access to freeways anywhere!

    I stayed with my family of 8 at the Dagorge Townhome and had a wonderful experience over Thanksgiving. The home was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped making Thanksgiving dinner preparation a breeze. Would highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the portland area. Thaddeus provides excellent customer service and there is a very short turnaround time for questions/concerns.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    We had a wonderful time staying in Troutdale. The townhouse was just perfect for our family of 5. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything was in excellent condition and the owners do a wonderful job of communicating with you. It is just a short drive into Portland. We definitely recommend the drive on the Columbia River Gorge Highway.

    The townhouse is spacious with fine quality furnishings. Everything looks like new! The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed to cook a great meal or just a pizza. Many things to see in the area. Especially the beautiful waterfalls in Columbia Gorge. The Adams, Bellevue, Nebraska

    We stayed in the DaGorge townhome in October, 2007. It was absolutely perfect. All the amenities of home, including various movie channels! We will definitely rent the townhome again when we return to Portland.

    Lovely home!!! Very comfortable and nice with all the amenities of home. We visited in August07 and had a wonderful time. The location is very convenient to the best of Oregon....Downtown Portland, Mt. Hood, the Columbia River Gorge as well as the Oregon Coast and Mt. St. Helens (WA). I look forward to staying there next time I vacation in Oregon.
