This Beach Walk Villa is on the first floor (no stairs) in the Shipyard Gated Plantation. A golf cart picks you up in front of the Beachwalk villas and rides you to the beach if you don't feel like walking!! This villa is a five minute stroll to the beach and one minute to the pool.
Shipyard Plantation is a private residential resort community. Beach Walk villas are the closest villas to the Atlantic Ocean Beach with 24 hour security. Recreational facilities include 27 holes of golf at the Shipyard Golf Club and world-class tennis at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club’s 20 tennis courts. All levels of players are welcomed.
Paths winding throughout the plantation provide trails for bikers, joggers and walkers of all ages. Trails in the plantation are safe, off the major roads which are very safe for children. Lagoons, alligators, and island foliage provide picturesque settings. The most prized possession of the Shipyard plantation is the Atlantic Ocean Beach access.
This 1400 square foot villa provides a fully supplied kitchen with utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, microwave, toaster, and full sized washer and dryer. Relax in the living room on a sofa which contains a queen sleeper. There is a TV/DVD, stereo system, wireless internet, fireplace and access to the deck through sliding glass doors. On the deck, there is a table with patio chairs. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, TV and sitting chairs.
There are two full baths with a shower/tub combination. The second bedroom features two twin beds, TV, dresser and chairs. The Beach Walk pool is available to villa guests and is a two minute walk from this villa. A unique feature of this pool is that it provides lounge chairs and areas to sit for either a place in the sun or in the shade, based upon your preference.
This villa is a Five Minute Walk to the Atlantic Ocean Beach. Chair rentals and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach.
The Crowne Resort Plaza Hotel is a five minute walk from the villa for your entertainment, poolside bar, and dining preferences. Restaurants, bars, outlet shopping, boating, miniature golf, and sightseeing are all within a few miles of the resort. You can walk the beach to nearby resort restaurants for an evening of fun. The popular Coligny Plaza and Harbourtown are close by allowing you to enjoy shopping, food, and nightly entertainment. In the summer firework displays are free at the Shelter Cove Marina one evening per week.
Recreational paths connect the entire island, so bring your bikes or walking shoes. Bikes are available at the Crowne Resort for rental if you don’t want to travel with your bikes. A unique feature of this beach is hard packed sand allowing you to ride your bike on the beach. There are over 50 golf courses on the island for all levels of players to enjoy. Savannah, Georgia and the City of Beaufort are only a 45-minute drive away for additional entertainment for guests on extended holiday.
