Peaceful Oasis in Downtown...

I loved staying here for almost a month. Honestly, I wish I lived here. The high ceilings, beautiful lay-out, the huge windows, with top floor perks; the quiet, the sunlight, & the convenience of being downtown...The security staff was friendly and the gym was a great bonus. Everyone I met in the building was nice. The fee was higher in the summer months and the price I paid was higher than I have ever paid on a work assignment, but what a gorgeous, soothing place to come home after a long day. I was just sorry I didn't have more time in the day to enjoy the place, but I am glad that I invested in peace of mind. I would highly recommend staying here. I would say if you are light-sensitive bring an eye mask if you need to sleep late (gorgeous high windows) and some ear plugs. The apartment is extremely quiet, but you just never know what Saturday and Sunday morning a car commercial will be filmed outside. LA is surprisingly noisy at 7 AM on weekends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Wow, Elizabeth, thanks for the "wish you lived here" compliment! And sorry about that car commercial -- but hope it was fun to watch the filming!

I was recently in LA on business for seven weeks. Since I did not want to rent a car (even though there is a parking space included) this property was astoundingly convenient as far as proximity to my work as well as the public transit system, which I rarely needed to use. There is a full grocery within six blocks, two pharmacies and a gym within two blocks, plus all the restaurants and coffee shops I could want. The property was immaculate and the owner tended to everything I needed. I would want to stay here again, whether on vacation or business. Downtown Los Angeles is at last experiencing a renaissance, and this location is in the heart of it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks Eric -- look forward to seeing you on your next trip!

This condo is extra ordinary! If you want to explore downtown LA or just explore the LA area, this is the place to stay. The condo was clean, well maintained & had all the necessities! Three of us stayed there & we felt totally comfortable with the space. The owner Delaney was great to work with ...he was prompt, pleasant, answered all my questions & concerns. My security deposit was refunded immediately. Next time I'm in LA, I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.
