This is the perfect vacation spot, quiet, yet close to plenty of action. Nearby are great restaurants, antiquing, outlets & much more. You can just relax at home, take a walk along the beach, enjoy the large yard facing the water in front or the oversized backyard perfect for a barbecue & outdoor games.
The immaculately maintained home, furnished with country charm and antiques, is at the end of a cul-de-sac, facing the Sound with fabulous water views, halfway between New York & Boston. It is part of a private beach association. The calm waters are perfect for young children.
The house has a large fully equipped eat-in kitchen, living room, separate dining room, very large family room with library, 3 bedrooms, laundry room, 2 ½ baths, outdoor shower, stone patio facing the water in front & large deck in back. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, 1 bedroom has 2 bunk bed sets & there are double & queens pullout sofabeds. High speed internet, 5 TV's, VCRs, DVD, gas grill, outdoor dining for more than 18 people, air conditioning, ceiling fans are all here your comfort & enjoyment. Fully equipped with linens, towels, crib, port-a-crib, child bed, 2 high chairs, strollers, games, toys, more than 100 videos, CDs, books, riding toys, bicycles, pool table, ping pong table, beach chairs, & more.

A Scottish Review Macnor Glasgow, Scotland Review Submitted: August 11, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009 As holiday accommodation goes, this has got to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. The beach house we rented became our home from the moment we arrived, as thanks to the owners Paula and David, the information we recieved before our trip, all the way from Scotland, helped us quickly establish ourselves in our holiday home. Our host's advised that we have a good old nosey around the house to help us locate everything we might need for our holiday and we were amazed as they had thought of everything and we wanted for nothing. The house was warm and inviting, beautifuly furnished and very clean. The location was perfect for everyone in our party from our youngest at 7 years to oldest at 76 years young. To the front of the house we could see the ocean and to the back of the house the marsh with lots of wildlife and an Osprey nesting with it's young. We loved sitting out on the deck which was very spacious and the outdoor shower was fantastic.The kids loved the bikes, the kayaks, the pool table, the ping-pong table and every toy and game imaginable. For the ladies we loved the hugh kitchen, the piping hot water for showers and baths as well as the choice of books and videos to help us relax. For the men they enjoyed cooking on the barbeque and if truth be told they also enjoyed all the same things that the kids loved. Even with ten in our party the house always seemed to provide enough space for everyone to do their own thing. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants a little piece of paridise at the beach and who really can appreciate a host who has really thought of everything to make your holiday special. All they ask is that you enjoy their home and when you are done , put every thing back where you found it to enable the next guest to enjoy their holiday. Scotland is renowned for it's hospitality and Paula and David should be congratulated on the level of hospitality they provided their guests. If we visit this part of America again, this would be the home we would rent. Brilliant place, a real home from home at the beach.

Best vacation house ever!! There is not a thing this house is missing. You could sit on the front steps and see the water. Very large lot with great back yard. House has nice flow and views. You don't need to bring anything for the kids, bikes, etc. Basement is like a game wonderland. We will return often to this house.

Great house!! We have rented several other houses and found that this was the best house - by far! Extremely clean, well stocked and things for all ages to keep everyone entertained. The adults relaxed and all the kids enjoyed all the extras that were provided. The beach was relaxing and quite. GREAT HOME!

We had a wonderful time staying in Niantic. The house was beautiful, well-maintained, fully stocked with everything we needed and very convenient to the beach. The owner was extremely helpful and very organized with information available to the area. We would defnitely rent this home again and highly recommend to anyone interested.
