First Floor Lakefront/gulf view "Gathering Room" with wet bar, game table, flat screen TV and a ping pong table.
Featuring an "upside-down" arrangement to fully capture the exceptional gulf views, the spacious great room has vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. Walk onto the porch and enjoy the romantic sunset over the gulf with a glass of wine on the swing or cozy chairs. You can listen to music on the porch or in great room (CD or iPod). The well-equipped two-cook gourmet kitchen has a Wolf range and Sub-Zero refrigerator, and two apron sinks. The dining area seats 6, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar.
The second floor master bedroom is elegantly furnished with a king bed and its own private entrance to the porch with incredible lake and gulf views. The master bathroom has twin vessel sinks, wall-mounted LCD TV, claw-foot tub, and a luxurious shower with rain-head, body spray, and a handheld spray.
The bunk room (2 bunks) is also on the second floor, and will become your kid’s favorite retreat with stunning gulf views, and its own flat screen TV. An additional full bath with shower is steps away from the bunk room. A built in desk is upstairs for computer use. There is wireless internet.
The first floor features a unique lakefront gathering room. This can be a perfect kid’s getaway with a large screen TV, DVD player, and a game table. It has a wet bar/kitchenette with a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher drawer, and microwave. This room can also be a fifth bedroom, since it has 2 twin Frontgate EZ beds as well as a queen one and its own bathroom. It opens onto a shaded porch with gulf and lake views, with a comfortable porch swing, and Adirondack chairs.
There is a second king master bedroom on the first floor. Its master bath has a large rain-head shower, 2 walls of body sprays, and a handheld spray. This master opens up onto a quiet screened porch with a comfortable chaise lounge, perfect for quiet reading or relaxing; also a great sleeping porch.
Kids and adults love the nautically themed twin bedroom on the first floor, with two twin beds with (faux) rope suspension, its own bathroom, and patio doors opening onto a private screened porch with gulf and lake views with two comfortable chairs.
A completely private outdoor shower with hot and cold water is available, with a separate entrance to the laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer.
A short walk to the beautiful and peaceful beaches of Watersound, there are no streets to cross when you take the boardwalk's and bridges to the beach. The property is just steps away from the heated community pool.
No luxury is lacking for your stay: Extras include LCD flat screen TVs in every bedroom and both great rooms, and ceiling fans in every room and every porch. A portable crib and highchair are also available. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella, bike's, are all included. All Watersound activities are a short walk or bike ride away.

Our extended family from Stone Mountain, Georgia came south to enjoy the Gulf and we couldn't have picked a better location. This is a lovely home, so spacious and gracious, and unwind and relax in it we did. The views and the atmosphere were so refreshing. We delighted in everything from the porch swings to the modern kitchen to the luxuriant showers to the walks on the very private beaches, to ping pong, kayaking and biking and just plain old reading on the porch with the sound of the gulf waters right over the nearby dunes. The cabinets and refrigerator were fairly well stocked with condiments and coffee and such, and the theme of the recent visitors seemed to be 'pay it forward', so we left as many new goodies as we had found on arrival. The home is so unique and liveable, and we jokingly even got used to 'Mr. Front Door' announcing anyone's entry on the downstairs level when you are upstairs. This is really a very smart security feature. All in all a wonderful week, and we would gladly come back again. Thanks Carmen and Matt for your home and your welcoming hospitality so evident even though you weren't there in person.

This was one of the best vacations I have had in a long time....the house is so nice and my granddaughter loved the showers....said was like going through a car wash ...the bathrooms are so nice ...never had problems with enough hot water even with 10 people. would stay here again ....has us looking for a place in Florida....lol Thank You again for the lovely time

Out of 23 years vacationing at the Seagrove Beach area, this was the most beautiful house we have stayed in. With a family of 10, including four preschoolers, we enjoyed the wonderful bedrooms, great kitchen, flat screen TVs in every room but more than anything the view from the living area and wrap around porches. This home is perfectly situated to the lake, pool area, and beach. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated with enough space for private and together times. We will be back!

My family of 12 stayed 4th of July week 2008. We loved this home and location. It was quiet but so convenient to restaurants and stores. The view was so relaxing from the upstairs porch-you could see the lake and the beach. The home accomodated everyone with their own space. Female teenagers in downstairs game room, grandma downstairs private bedroom with porch, daughters and spouses in 2 separate master suites, and small children in upstairs bunkroom. The well-equipped kitchen worked fantastic with so many of us. The boardwalk to the beach was great with the pool on the way back. We walked to the beach several nights for crabbing. The home is convenient to Seaside and Rosemary Beach without the crowds. We felt very secure in the gated community. The home was well equipped with beach toys and bikes. The homeowner was very nice and easy to deal with. We loved this home!!! Would recommend this home to all ages of beach lovers.

Our family had an amazing Thanksgiving in this wonderful home. The home was even better than the photos. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The view could not have been prettier. I highly recommend this home.

This rental was absolutely gorgeous! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty and quality of the house or the tremendous views from the decks. The house was very well equipped and had a wonderful layout for 2 two families. The kitchen and great room areas were very spacious. We highly recommend this rental!

12/2007 This was our first time renting through VRBO and we couldn't have been happier. The McCallion's house was beautiful and had a wonderful view of the dune lake, dunes and the gulf beyond. Very relaxing! The thing I liked most was the fact you could just grab a bike out of the garage and go, also, just across the bridge, you have access to kayaks to explore the Camp Creek lake and cross over one more bridge and you're on the beach! Even though we were there during a cold snap and didn't spend a lot of time on the beach, we still had a great time, no crowds! I highly recommend it!

The McCallions home was a wonderful place to enjoy our week off at the beach. It is right next to the boardwalks that take you to the pool, lake and beach. There was something for everyone to enjoy, even when the weather wasnt perfect. The grandparents loved the puttering park, the swings and the Wii, yes, even 60 somethings like this game. My toddlers loved the bunk beds, bike rides, frogs, and of course the beach. As for me, I loved the kitchen and the chance to have time to cook. My husband loved the great showers. So, as you can see, there is something for everyone in this well appointed home. Enjoy!

We had a great week at the McCallion's beach house. The house is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The view is spectacular. The amenities are great. We loved the bicycles. The pool is close-by and very nice. And, of course, the area is fun to explore.
