Aloha and welcome to Kauai Oceanfront at the beautiful Islander on the Beach, located on the Garden Island of Kauai. Our unit is a top floor oceanfront suite facing the beach with panoramic views of the crystal clear Pacific Ocean. This is by far one of the best units of the whole complex. We reside here in Kauai, and want to help you have the best vacation possible.
The Islander on the Beach went through a multi-million dollar complete renovation and is located on over six lush oceanfront acres.
Our unit features travertine stone floors throughout, granite counter tops, mahogany cabinets, air conditioning, wet bar, island-style furnishings, kitchen counter top and sink, refrigerator, microwave, dual burner hot plate, electric skillet, pots and pans, cooking utensils and coffee maker. Queen size bed, 27-inch flat screen TV with cable, stereo system with an ipod/iphone dock and charger, and an electronic safe. Walk out to the private balcony/lanai and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise and sunsets over the ocean.
Outside you can lounge under the shaded palapas by the beautiful ocean-side swimming pool or relax in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the full service poolside bar. Take a stroll along the beach or walk path which stretches out for miles in either direction. There are also BBQ gas grills for an evening cookout. The Plantation style lobby and sitting lounge features on-site computers and wireless internet access.
Walk next door to the Coconut Marketplace where you may delight in shopping in over 60 specialty shops, restaurant dining, movies and more. Centrally located in the town of Kapa’a, you are 30 miles from both the north and south shore. The enchanting Waialua River and Fern Grotto are less than two miles away where you can boat, hike, or kayak. The Waialua golf course is also just minutes away, as well as the championship courses on the north and south shore.
The Garden Island of Kauai is known for its natural beauty- pristine beaches, lush, tropical gardens, and cascading waterfalls. All of this is waiting for you!

We are staying at the Aston Islander on the beach now and having a wonderful time. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff is very helpful. We have a room on the third floor with ocean front, If I had a baseball I could literally throw it into the ocean from my room. Although the air conditioning system is working very well, we are leaving the sliding door open to sleep with the sound of the surf. The view from our room is spectacular and just like the photos that Aston showed on their web site. There is shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Although the hotel is not new, it is well maintained and well worth the advertised price. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

This condo unit is absolutely perfect for a beach vacation. The view is unbelievable! A "busy" day on the beach in front of the unit was 4 people, but generally only 1-2 and often we had the beach to ourselves. The third floor location made it private as well as quiet (except for the peaceful sound of the waves). If you want to be social, the pool/hot tub/bar area was always active and friendly. John (owner) was super in terms of communication and suggestions. I would have given 5 stars across the board except the bed isn't as comfortable as ours back home. But that is really the only shortfall we can think of for this rental. We cannot wait to go back.

We were looking for a quiet more intimate setting on the beach in Kauai rather than a big hotel, resort or multi floor apt. This is exactly what we found through John & Jill Arria at the Aston Islander On The Beach in Kapaa. The property was located literally steps away from the beach overlooking a most wonderful view and we both were very pleased for the entire stay that we were so fortunate to have! The photos are not accurate, the actual property and views are MUCH BETTER than what you can see on the website as there is much beauty there. Since Kapaa is in between Hanalei to the north, Lihue & Poipu Beach to the south it is easy to plan your trips to all parts of the island while enjoying the activities, restaurants and art in the town of Kapaa which is charming in itself. We hope to be back as soon as possible and would highly recommend this for only the property - but the owners as well who are delightful wonderful people and very easy to work with. My husband and I stayed in Kaui at this beautiful spot (Islander on the Beach). Very natural, not a hotel atmosphere. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We would come back again. The condo has a 5 million dollar view and is in a very calm and quiet complex, centrally located between the North and South shore...We loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
