This kid friendly home features cathedral ceilings, stone fireplace, wall-to-wall carpeting, luxury kitchen with dining area opening up to a spacious family room. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, a full size bath, and laundry facilities. A full-size sofa bed is located in the four season room. The upper level has 2 bedrooms, an additional full bath, and loft area with a pull out full-size sofa bed.
Large windows allow you to enjoy the tranquil setting. You can sit, relax, and start your morning off right with coffee on the front deck, which spans the full front of the house, and end the evening in the enclosed four season room off of the dining room. Both provide wonderful views of the surrounding woods where the deer and turkey are your neighbors.
This home is within walking distance of the outdoor heated swimming pool and clubhouse. Big Bass Lake has many year round amenities including fishing on any of the three lakes with optional boat rentals, 2 beaches with lifeguards, horseshoes, boce ball, community beginner ski slope with T-bar, sledding and tubing hills with equipment rental, ice skating, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, picnic areas and playgrounds.
Brand new, million dollar recreation center with snack bars and game rooms, tennis courts, basketball courts and planned activities all year round. Parents can relax while the children enjoy arts and crafts, ice cream socials, swim parties, movie nights and many more activities. Many family theme parties are held throughout the year. We adjoin the 7,000 acre Gouldsboro State Park where you can enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.
Badges for use of Big Bass community facilities cost $8.00 per day or $40 per week, per persons age 6+.

This house was spacious & very clean. I would highly recommend renting this house. We got to see a bald eagle at the lake there, deer on the front yard & turkey as well.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The chalet was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and attractive. The setting was serene! In the mornings, we saw many wildlife (turkey, deer, and even an eagle!). The chalet is located with minimal travel time to shopping outlets and area attrations (driving directions were graciously in a binder to simplify the process). The activities of Big Bass Lake were all conveniently located too. I stayed here with my sister and two of our friends for a girls weekend of shopping and relaxing. The chalet was a perfect home away from home for us and perfect to return to after a day of shopping! 5/14/11

For my sister's birthday, I rented this house for a girls only shopping weekend. The house was beautiful, rooms spacious and very clean. The owners have taken the time to make their home appeal to adults as well as families with young children. Board games and baby furniture also at the house too-one less thing to pack! The owners were very friendly, informative and take pride in their home. Definitely would rent again!
