Our Summer Home Away from Home

Our family considers Paradise Point "Our" Lake House. We have vacationed here for the last 4 years and loved it every time. There is plenty of room for everyone and the private dock is perfect for all the boat toys we bring along each year. The rope swing and plank provide plenty of entertainment for those with brave hearts and everyone who comes with us gives them a try! We enjoy the peaceful setting and the lake is beautiful. It is always calm and glasslike in the morning and the water-skiing and boarding is perfect then. We've also enjoyed boating under the big bridge; it's like a river trip in another country! Paradise Point has given us many happy memories and will continue to be our summer vacation spot!

We had our company party there. Over 50 people, for the day and about 20 that stayed for the weekend. Kids and family enjoyed both the property and the lake. Looking forward to our next trip there. Only challenge with us was parking of the boat trailers, and even that wouldnt have been an issue if we didnt have so many (two boats and a pair of wave runners) along with all the cars. All in all a wonderful place for my family and employees.

Our family loved staying at this property in July 2011. Great layout with a lot of room for everyone! Spent time on the water with our boat (the dock was great!), sitting by the campfire overlooking the lake, getting the courage to use the rope swing, napping in the hammock, and enjoying quality family time!!! I hear the house is going through some upgrades which will make it even better next time we come!

My immediate family has rented this property on two occasions over the past 4 years, originally we chose it because of the proximity to our extended family reunion near Chehalis, but the return trip was because of the wonderful experience we had at Paradise Point. The setting couldn't be better and the view is breath taking. There is amble room to play outdoor games overlooking the lake or to just relax under the trees taking in the panoramic scenery. The location of the property has easy access to the main road around the lake, but is off far enough to provide a private retreat setting. There are multiple buildings that can be rented individually or the entire property is available for a large group as is what we did on both visits. Parking is no problem and the private dock provides moorage if you have a boat. The fishing is outstanding and I watched my nephew's son catch his first trout during our last visit. I understand many upgrades have been recently completed and we cannot wait to see the new additions and upgrades to the already well appointed facilities. If you chose Paradise Point for your family vacation or just for a weekend get-away you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Lake Front Home on Acre with Hot Tub & Private Dock

We rented this entire property (which includes 2 homes and the whole campground) for a weekend with 6 families -- 7 adults and about 17 kids. It rained a bit over the weekend, but the kids were NEVER bored. The rope swing, the tire swing, the hot tub, the fire pit, swimming, canoeing, boating, all kept them completely occupied and happy. All the adults slept indoors and all the kids slept in tents. The house is a little worn, but with that big of a group coming in and out with wet suits and dirty feet, we were THANKFUL that we didn't have to worry about damaging anything. The "mantra" for the weekend was how perfect the location and property were for our group. Oh, and the view is gorgeous. I put 4 stars instead of 5 only because if you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. But if you have a large party or lots if kids, you won't find a better location. We've already reserved our weekend for next year, so hurry!

A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

Our family had the wonderful opportunity of staying at Paradise Point on Lake Mayfield last summer. It far exceeded our expectations. Lake Mayfield is perfect for swimming and boating, and the private adjoining boat dock makes it so easy to enjoy water sports. We loved the big fire pit on the point overlooking the water and the grounds were large enough for volleyball games and other yard games. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals for our large family. We just can't say enough positive words about this lovely little piece of heaven. We look forward to future stays.

My family and I have retreated here many times and found the house and the cabin to be comfortable and peaceful. Sitting by the lake and listening to the fire crackle as we lounge in the double swing is one of our favorite do-nothing activities. The grounds are roomy enough for a grand family reunion, but cozy enough if you just want a quiet get away for a small group. Having two kitchens is a plus for a big crowd, but hot dogs over the fire pit or Burgers off the grill is still our favorite to let us know we really were on vacation! There is no better spot to take in the beauty of God's creation!

This is a beautiful place with an adorable house and cabin. The views are unbeatable, especially during sunrise and sunset. There are not many other houses on this lake so it felt really secluded. The kids loved the rope swing and being able to sun out on the dock. It was great being able to leave our ski boat tied up to the dock each night for the week. We enjoyed the cool lake water by day and hottub by night. We will be back for sure, hopefully with a big family reunion next time.

What a fantastic location and wonderful facilities. We visited with the entire family and loved every minute of our stay, even when it decided to sprinkle. The lake was beautiful and the fishing was great. The big dock was our favorite spot during the day and we loved sitting around the fire pit on the point overlooking the entire length of the lake at night. Somehow the smores tasted better with that view. The place is so remote that we counted only four lights on the other side of the huge lake once it became dark. The house was very comfy and I think we might rent out the quaint little cabin on our next stay and bring some friends. Heck I might even marry off my daughter there...what a perfect setting. I will definitely be visiting Paradise Point again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys getting away from the world for a while. My only complaint was that the time went too quickly. Five Stars for sure!
