We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We literally didnt need a car once we arrived there, it was all about family time! A short 20-25 minute drive from the Airport, groceries 10 minutes away, great restaurants close by, pool almost in the backyard, and the beach just across the green. In my opinion, the best of all the little coastal communities between Panama City and Destin is Rosemary Beach. This house was everything you could possibly ask for whether you are a family with children or just adults. Great beds, comfortable indoor and outdoor places to relax, and fantastic views of both the pool and the beach! All of it is very private and safe for kids. We had the very best time and this house was the catalyst for our family to soak up all the fun!

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This home is a perfect vacation home

My family and I were at DePalma House in May and it could not have been a more lovely home to spend at Rosemary. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the pool just right next door. Our children and grandchildren were our guest for the week and they loved it also. The babies loved the beach, however they liked the pool better and it was so close. The home itself is lovely and fully equipped. We really enjoyed cooking and eating together as a family and the home was perfect for that. I have already recommended the house to a friend, and we will definately be back. As for Rosemary Resort well there is just nothing to complain about. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Truly a wonderful place to vacation.

My family had a fantastic vacation in Rosemary Beach, and the DePalma House played a big part in its success. There were so many things to like about the home. Since we have young children, we couldn't have picked a better location. It's situated directly next door to our favorite RB pool, so when our youngest children had to go down for a nap, the parent that stayed home with them never felt very away from the action. The house is also located one house down from the Eastern Green where many hours were spent playing football and running around until dark with their newly made friends. It was great that they could play so close to the house. The beach is directly beyond the green, providing easy access to all it has to offer, especially the view from the house and the beautiful sunsets. My family loved that the house had a backyard, which is gated, protecting the children from wandering away (which also kept them from terrorizing the other vacationing families). They loved the hammock there, making fun chalk drawings on the stone patio then spraying them off with the water hose, and the novelty of the outdoor shower. There was much to like about the house itself. It's tastefully decorated and stocked with items to help entertain a family on a rainy afternoon or for relaxing after an exciting day. Everyone loved the swinging bed on the rear porch and the surround sound system connected to the televisions. The only challenge we had in the house was that the main stairwell is very steep. Our 2-year old set of twins have trouble on our steps at home, so we just kept the kids away from them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the DePalma House. We plan on going back.

I've been staying in Rosemary Beach for about 7yrs, and this is one of the best houses I've stayed in. I believe this is one of the very best locations you could want. The house is directly next to the Coquina Pool, which is the best pool in Rosemary Beach. The pool is very large and it's heated, which is of course great for cooler months. You walk out the back door, walk about 15 feet, and you are at the pool. This is extememly convenient, particularly when you have kids with you. The "green" areas of Rosemary are also wonderful. Perfectly manicured grass which is perfect for throwing a frisbee, or playing kickball, or just laying around. Walk out the front door of this house, turn left, walk past one house, and you are there. Again, very convenient. This is also where you have direct access to the beach. I could go on and on, but rest assured you will very much enjoy this house and it's perfect location.
