Newbury Neck is a six to seven mile slender peninsula jutting south from the township of Surry, situated between Union Bay to the East and Morgan and Blue Hill Bay to the West. Westside properties gaze over to the Blue Hill Peninsula, while Eastside properties absorb the panoramic views over to the hills of Acadia and Mount Desert Island.
Eagles Landing Cottage is an Eastside facing property, capturing those idyllic Eastern views across Union Bay over to the hills of Acadia, including Cadillac Mountain. A winding lane, laced with blackberry buses, ferns and spruce, carries you to this amazing five plus acre parcel and stunning beachfront cottage. This charming hideaway is surrounded by more than 260 feet of excellent beach frontage, fields, forest, grassy marsh, and even a “moon pond” – a small “salt water pond” that fills after spring tides (when the sun and moon align and produce greater tidal ranges).
