From the St. Thomas airport an easy ten minute taxi ride takes you to Crown Bay Marina where you leisurely sip your cool drink at Tickles Dockside Pub prior to taking the ten minute ferry ride to Water Island. There you will be met and escorted to your “get-away” in the sun on this small tropical island. Our “on-island” property manager will help get you acquainted with island life and assist in answering your questions.
Conveniently located off the main road and five minutes from the ferry and the beach, this Pink Gem in the Caribbean will let the beauty of the island sparkle in the sunshine. You can easily walk or take the four person gas golf cart to the beach for a swim, to Pirates Ridge Deli for Friday night pizza or to Heidi’s Honeymoon Grill for Saturday night gourmet dinner on the beach under the stars from this central location.
This two bedroom/two bath cottage works well for two couples or a family of four-five. The main house has one bedroom (queen) with bath (shower), kitchen and living/dining room. The second spacious bedroom (king or two twins plus a day bed) is a separate building with its own bath (shower). The home’s two porches allow you a beautiful view of the sunrise over the Caribbean in the morning and a chance to catch the “Green Wink” as the sun sets in the evening. The sea breezes make sleeping a dream after a fun day on the beach.
The house includes fully equipped kitchen, microwave, washer and dryer, television with VCR and DVD, radio with CD player and use of the golf cart. There are chairs and towels to take to the beach and a small cooler to take your refreshments/lunch. Or you can purchase refreshments/lunch from Heidi or Joe on the beach. Groceries are available at Gourmet Gallery in Crown Bay Marina or arrangements can be made to have the house provisioned.
The personal attention, views and location make this a perfect vacation spot to get away from it all, relax and enjoy the island life.
