  Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off the rental company was incredibly responsive to all of our needs, communicated well prior to arrival, got us into the unit early, and were very nice throughout. The unit itself was kind of like I would imagine my grandma would have decorated it. The piece de resistance was the dining room table, set for four, with floral napkins in a scalloped fold, salad plates, dinner plates, two glasses per setting and all the flatware you can imagine. We didnt touch it as I imagine no one has in a decade. Downside - two monster dead roaches in the unit over the course of the they were with us, ick. I hate those things.

  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay with a view of the ocean and salt water pool. Property was very clean. Need a calling card to call the mainland and Canada. Location is about 1 1/2 miles from food, restaurants and in the heat it is quite a very long hike. Night walk back is in some darkness and not recommended. Definitly need a car to get anywhere. Stairs: 48 stairs per climb and depends how often you go out. Elevator is at the very far end of the building and 4 sets of 4 stairs. Absolutely no beach but a man made one with a wall to the ocean and gritty sand. BBq area great and bbqs are clean but would recommend some oil(olive or canola) be rubbed on prior to bbqing with paper towels, as you will see the grim residue even after they are cleaned. No beaches as per a nice sandy beach to lay around on. Big Island a dissappointment, volcano closed off due to sulfur emmission so could not see inside the crater.

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice area and grounds. Enjoyed the salt water pool and beach. The unit is out-dated but large and comfortable. On the last two days there was a bad smell in the bathroom coming from septic. Big turn-off.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rentatl company was fine, the condo itself was fine, although sorely needed remodeling. But three times, twice for an entire day the water was shut off to the entire complex. We had to leave for two whole days.

Reviewer Comments: My son and his wife and 2 daughters stayed in 317 while others in our family were in other units in the Casa. They really enjoyed the unit; it fit our needs and expectations perfectly. They would come back in a heartbeat.

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Avg. not beachfront as advertised. Poor parking arrangements... Needs cleaned better and must have access to washer/dryer units... Not enough towels for the number of guests and no way to wash!!!

Unit 317 has a poorly equiped kitchen and should have accessibiity to laundry in the unit. Otherwise no complaints. It's a lovely property.

The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and complex this property were excellent. We found that the actual condo, although quite spacious, was in need of a facelift. Furniture was not very comfortable and decor was very, very dated. Doors did not line up to close properly. That being said, there were lots of utensils in the kitchen which was very nice.

  Rating Details: I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation started out with surprise when the lockbox code given to us by your office was incorrect. Apparently the lockbox was replaced and we were never notified of the changed code - frustrating upon our late evening arrival after traveling for 15 hours. The unit was very dated and contained too much furniture and garage sale trinkets. We loved the location and the property amenities. After two days in our #317 condo, ants were crawling everywhere in the unit (kitchen counters, floor and in the bathrooms). The conditions inside are in desperate need of updates. The master bath linolium has burnt cigarette marks and rusty toilet paper holder. Stove had broken knob and kitchen faucet strainer needs replacing. TV was in ackward location in which you had to sit on dining chairs to view. We spoke to other renters in other units which were completely updated. The front door hardware needs replacing. A simple push while depressing the door handle opened the door without the key. We never felt safe leaving valuables in the unit. We have learned our lesson. Kona Coast vacations should have alarmed us to the condition of this unit. We are deeply disappointed.
