A small but mighty ranch on the north fork of Willow Creek tucked between working cattle and horse ranches. Trout stocked ponds, nature trails. Resident herd of whitetail deer, pheasants, even the occasional moose. Mowed nature trails, observation tent, feeders, make this a family nature experience second to none.
Nearly new 3 bedroom ranch home, designer decorated and equipped. with new log cabin guest house, both overlooking the ponds. (House and log cabin can be leased together or separately depending on owner's schedule). Heated garage, dog kennels, create an all season family fun destination.

Why the Owner Chose Ennis
We made our priority.. a property with ponds or streams. When this small ranch became available we had our chance for both. My San Francisco inerior designer/wife loves a decorating project and I coveted a chance to tinker with the habitat for both fish and wildlie. So our decision to buy was easy. It was also within fifteen minutes of two major lakes and 3 of the blue ribbon trout steams of Montana. So within a few years the "Big Hat...No Cattle ranch" became a one of a kind vacation experience for us. Now it can be yours as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House and/or Guest Cabin
The Tobacco Root Mts. provide a fabulous backdrop, and North and South Willow creek create a valley situation teeming with wildlife. By adding nature trails, feeder stations, and letting the creek and pastur go back to nature, we have a highly unusual variety of critters that call the ranch home.

Judy and I are grew up and went to college in Iowa. My baseball career lead us to experience most of the major metropolitan areas, but after two propfession in that environment...we were ready for a second home in the Big Sky country, where people still wave and genuinely care about each other. I have been a lifelong avid outdoorsman and love to fish.
Southwest Montana was the idea place to experience the Mountains, the wildlife, and the people.

- The Madison... Gallatin, Jefferson, and Missouri... are only a few miles away.
- Deer and all the criters love the feeding station, just outside the LR window..
