We love to vacation in our condo and go a couple of times a year. We fixed it up as our home away from home, not as a rental but as recently as 2005, we found we were not able to go as often as we'd like so decided to rent it out.
Why the Owner Chose Kihei Bay Surf
We chose to buy this condo because of its proximity to the ocean and beach and for the added amenities such as onsite tennis courts, ( a rarity for most condos), pool, jacuzzzi and covered Bar-B-Q area. It's also within walking distance from shopping, post office, drug store and restaurants. It is only a 2 story project, so it's more intimate.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Just across the street is the ocean beach, grassy, shady park and the Humpback Whale Sanctuary. Typically, we play tennis early, then go for a swim or snorkle and then walk to lunch and take a siesta on the grassy area at the edge of the sandy beach. What a tough life :)

Had the best time. The place had everything I needed.close to the beach markets.. Can't wait to come back.. Kiehi is a great place in Maui .. It's my favorite place on the island... Glad I found this place..mahalo

the condo is nice and clean, the pool and spa kept in good shape. but if you are a light sleeper, don't take it! it sits practically on top of a busy road and all night cars roar by. the other thing that I did not like was the fact that it says it has WIFI but this is not the case. there is wifi, if you walk around with your laptop, even as far as the pool and look for it and then it`s on and off. but if you want to work or have a conversation via internet or if you want to be reachable, forget it. our neighbor saved us by logging us into his private net...
Owner response:Our lovely, condo has been rented on a continual basis for over 9 years and this is the first time there's ever been an issue with cars. Yes, you must be a light sleeper. I always communicate with prospective tenants to be sure they're aware that there is no wireless in the unit itself but has limited access available near the pool area. I apologize if you misunderstood this.

The condo was perfect for my me and my boyfriend. It had everything we needed to eat there, and the grill was right down the stairs. There were also plenty of extras. Nancy even went out of her way to accomodate us for a night other than what we booked because of a flight delay, and we are SO grateful to her for that!!! Also, the location is fantastic and getting everywhere was really convenient. Next time in Maui, we will definitely try and stick with this place!
