The house was super clean, great location, everything in working order and just 10-15 minutes from the strip. The owners, George and Caryn, are great! They were always there when we needed them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! a big THANK YOU! Hope we will see you soon. All the best from switzerland!

The house was clean, located in a great quiet area, and weel stocked with items for a great vacation. I would highly recommend. Just a caution, this is not a party house, so don't expect that. Otherwise, there were no issues the entire duration of our 5 days. Thanks George.

There were eight of us staying in this house and it was truly the nicest one we've ever rented. The owners were very nice and helpful. Any questions we had were answered completely, and they also recommended places of interest that we hadn't had on our list. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, everything was in working order. Although we were there in April, some of us took advantage of the pool. It was cold, but worth dipping into. We loved everything! Restaurants to visit: Blueberry Hill, Terribles, Bavarian Restaurant. These are relatively close by. Also we had easy access to Flamingo and Tropicana Streets from this house. It took about 10 minutes for us to get to Las Vegas Boulevard or easy travelling to anywhere else we wanted to go. George and Caryn also recommended seeing Valley of Fire after our sightseeing tour to Hoover Dam. This is definately a "MUST SEE". Thanks George and Caryn for helping us to have a wonderful Las Vegas vacation!

We stayed with another couple at this great home. I had read the reviews and discounted the one bad review. The house was perfect. Everything was in great working order. Nice neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and the strip. Easy on and off freeways. Owners were very nice helpful - answered any questions but did not bother us at all (in fact, George came to tell us the day we were leaving that there was no rush since the home was not rented for the following week). We did not swim as the pool is not heated, but we sat by the pool on very comfortable loungers and read, rested and visited. The outdoor patio was great. We ate several meals outside. The kitchen was stocked nicely with seasonings to cook with. We enjoyed the pool table. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The beds were great and the bathrooms were very clean. We were so impressed that the couple that went with us are planning to take their children back for a trip and will stay in the house. We absolutely loved our stay. The wireless internet was great also. We actually own a timeshare on the strip but choose to stay at this house because the cost was about the same and it was in a neighborhood. We plan to be repeat customers.

We stayed here for 4 days and everything was great. The homeowners were very nice. The house was very comfortable and had everything you could ever need. Very quiet and relaxing. The house is exactly like the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. We had our Siblings, Kids and Parents and everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were. Backyard is very private and like your own little resort. Thank you so much George and Caryn for everything. We will be calling you on our next visit to Las Vegas. The Bartolotta's.....

This place is exactly as pictured and promised and I can HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the noisy hotels of the strip. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was quite refreshing. My two brothers, father, son and I were very comfortable in this home and we can't thank George and Karyn enough for making this gem available to us for our stay. The rate was quite reasonable considering all the amenities offered. Book (don't overlook) this place. I guarantee that you will not be sorry.

Having read the last review as we were about to depart for Las Vegas, it left us abit worried but I can honestly say The house was AMAZING! Approximately 7 minutes from the strip-one straight road out from the Ballagio hotel (Flamingo road)-easy but you definitely need a car. The house itself-fanatastic, the pool had a cleaner in it which moved around in the pool-I would prefer this than have a dirty pool! It did not stop us going in the pool at all. The rooms were air conditioned and as the pictures. The bedrooms had shutters and blinds to keep the rising sun out and I can assure you the rooms were dark-not sure what the previous occupiers meant by the sun waking you up! The rubbish bins were indeed around the side of the house. The gardiner came to cut the lawn which was fine because we went on the helicopter trip that afternoon. Lots of BBQ's were had! There wasn't any diving board which we expected but the pool table kept the men entertained whilst the ladies soaked up the sunshine!! We saw the owners on our arrival, and Caryn came round to look at the pool but did not disturb us in fact it was nice to meet her. I would definitely recommend the house and would return ....I didn't want to come home!!!!!

We have rented many houses both in LV, America and all over the world so this review is given with much experience. The house is as it says, peaceful neighbourhood etc hard wood floors. The inside is well maintained, in fact when we arrived that is exactly what was happening. You can 'check in' after 3pm, we arrived at 5 to find the owner cleaning the oven and fitting batteries to smoke detectors . Great you might think, but having traveled for more than 18 hours we wanted to relax not wait around whilst he came back again from the store with more bulbs. Cleaning ..great...what about the fridge and cupboards, previous tenants left over yoghurts, mouldy bread and bagels ? He said he wanted to hose down the veranda, but hosing down would not have cleaned the large stained rug right outside the back door. Bed's very comfy but it is not possible to properly darken any bedroom, as only the slatted blinds work, no curtains other than in the main, which don't close and additional blinds in other bedrooms don't drop so as soon as the sun comes up, so are you. There is internet connection in the kitchen but the computer shown on the photographs is not there, to be fair the written description doesn't say there is one. Outside the property needs much attention, the building needs a serious paint job, you may say is irrelevant but unfortunately the pool and surround need much attention too, many cracked and broken tiles and the pool cleaner/vacuum is timed to start at about 8 am until 2.30pm basically meaning you can't swim during this time or you get wrapped up in hose. Other reviews have stated the owners were on hand, this for us was the biggest problem. They are always at the property. The 24 hours notice in the contract does not apply, they turn up whenever they feel like it, 4 times in first 5 days alone. they live approx 100 yards away and are constantly at the property. no privacy or peace, it made us feel like we were being spied upon. In the pool one afternoon Caryn arrived in the garden to check the pool disinfectant and we learnt that we had only had some peace due to George being away from home. She apolgised for making us feel that way, but for the whole of the 15 days we were uncomfortable. Some info with regards to trash collection would have been helpful instead of us having to leave many bags in the garage. Caryn said this is our home, no it is a business property a home for others to enjoy, not you, we will return to LV to our usual house.
Owner response:First of all we are sorry this guest was so miserable in our home. This guest never tried to communicate to us except in a screaming rage aimed at Caryn for coming into the backyard to put chemicals in the pool mid week. She did try to call them before coming over. We can say for certain there was no moldy bread of any kind left in the cupboards, the yogurt was left unopened in the refrigerator along with a dozen beers as a courtesy. No complaints on all the beer they drank and the tea and coffee they consumed at our expense. The outside rug stain has been removed, had the tenant allowed George to clean the veranda he would have taken care of it then. There are 4 trash cans on the side of the garage where tenants can put their trash in which they used the first week they were there, they chose to pile the trash in the garage the second week, we not sure why. On scheduled trash days, we take the filled cans to the curb for the tenant. There are window blinds on all the bedroom windows that keep the rooms dark, you just have to know how to use them. The pool equipment needs to be on during the hottest part of the day and a few missing tiles in the pool do not in any way inhibit the guests from fully enjoying the pool. The pool needs to be maintained on a regular basis for water levels and chemicals. There is some wood trim that needs to be painted, it will be done in the fall when it isn't so hot, but not the whole house .As home owners we are very proud of our house and keep it very well maintained. We try to please everyone but, we definitly failed this angry person. George and Caryn

I was very paranoid with making sure that everything was in order with the rental. George and Carin made sure that I was comfortable at all times and the house was very comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Great experience. Would rent again from them.

We stayed at this house in April 2009 and the stay was seemless. There were four adults, my mum, sister, my uncle and me. The quality of the house and furnishing were excellent. The rooms were all of a good size and we had full use of all the property, including the garage (if we needed it) It has a large drive that you could easily get two or three cars on if needed. The kitchen was large and had enough cutlery, plates and utensils for everyone, we had no problems with anything while we were there. At the time we were there, we had cable TV, free wireless internet and local / 1-800 calls on the phone (there was no PC there though but we had laptops) This property is exactly like is in the photos (which some places are not on here, believe me!) It has a very modern, prestige feel to it and makes it feel like a home from home. We didnt use the pool as it was quite cold in April 2009 (they had just had snow in Vegas in Jan 2009, first time in 30 years!) The porperty is around 5-7 minutes drive to the strip and does not take long to reah the main round that will take you there. The property is located near shops like CVS and Walmart which is handy to know. It is down a quiet residential street which is good if you dont want the fuss or noise / traffic of the strip and want to relax / take a break. We met the owners who lived nearby and were always on hand to answer our questions if and when we had any. We loved the house (and Vegas) so much that we even asked George the owner if we could stay another two days, which was granted! We will be back! Overall, excellent rental, good size, good location if you want peace and quiet and good quality furnishings!

We had a trip between family and couples with a total of 9 people. The house is in a great, quiet neighborhood. The House itself is very nice at first glance. The owner had everything set up 1 week prior to or trip so gaining access to the house was a breeze as well as locating the house. The interior of the house is even better!! The Hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms are fantastic!! Beds are not too firm and not too soft. Very pleasant. The lighting in the living was great for watchin a movie, but is too dark for sitting and chatting. I'd recommend a couple tall lamps or in ceileing lighting to solve that problem. The dining are was wonderful and a joy to eat in. The are with the pool table doesn't have much decoration around, but that's a positive because there is less to break when playing a few games of pool. The backyard has plenty of chairs for everyone to sit and has nice thick grass. We didn't get to enjoy the pool because the wind decided to blow out of control. Now I saved the kitchen for last because I do love to cook. Dinnerware was abundant and so were the drinking glasses for all occasions. The cookware is pretty good. The fridge had enough space to pack $400 worth of groceries for our 3 night stay. The dishwasher is outdated, but did get the work done. The stove is outdated and was the first appliance I noticed because I was the one doing all the cooking. Its an electric stove. It took nearly half hour to make a pan of bacon. I literally spent 3+ hours in the kitchen cooking one meal. That was a major con for me, but is minor compared to the total package. I would like to thank the owners for their great service. They were available throughout our entire stay, answering questions and responding to requests. A++ service. Also, the strip is literally 7 minutes away. (Driving like a Californian) Thanks again for the pleasant, pain-free stay.
Owner response:I am not sur what this person is talking about in regards to the stove not working properly. We have stayed there many times and we cook all the time and the stove works just fine.

I stayed in this rental home for 4 weeks while I remodled my home and couldn't live in it during construction. The house was as comfortable as my own home. The owners were there when I needed them which was limited. The back yard was a little 'Shangri La'. The jasmine on the patio was heavenly. The beds were more comfortable than mine at home! The neighborhood is very quiet and a great place to walk. The kitchen was furnished completely. We cooked daily and had no issues with appliances not working properly. The location has easy access to the airport, freeway and the Las Vegas strip.

I am writing this review because I cannot believe anyone would make a negative comment about this home. My family (9 of us) stayed here in Summer 2008 and we loved it. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The layout is excellent and the pool was always clean and we had zero problems in the house. We saw the owners maybe 2-3 times during our stay and they were always pleasant. We wanted to rent the house again for our vacation in 2010 but we waited too long and this property was unavailable. We instead ended up renting another home where we had a very bad experience. My family really enjoyed this property and we would not hesitate to use it again the next time we go to Vegas.
