6th FLOOR in beautiful Brigadune—an oceanfront condominium, the complex is situated on a peninsula and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean that provides for spectacular breathtaking views. Brigadune is located on the quiet and prestigious Shore Drive -- just south of the Hilton Hotel and North of Marriott’s Grand Dunes in Myrtle Beach. This magnificent high rise complex offers the ultimate in oceanfront vacationing with numerous amenities including outdoor oceanfront pool (heated in Spring and Fall), tennis courts, picnic area, gas barbeque grills, elevators, secure lobby, and covered on-site parking. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds as you stroll to the oceanfront pool and the beach. There is also an outside shower and sundeck on the grounds of this safe concrete and steel building. This all adds-up to our guests being able to stay-n-play in this all-in-one wonderful place located on The Grand Strand -- The Grand Strand is as the name says, Grand! This unique area now has more than 100 fabulous championship golf courses, over 1400 restaurants, a variety of night life featuring lively entertainment, country music attractions, and big-name performers.
Our deluxe condo simply has been beautifully decorated and has spacious living areas. Accommodations feature two large bedrooms and two baths with granite, marble, and designer wallpaper (there is a spacious walk-in marble shower in the master bathroom). The large, airy living room has glass windows and sliding doors the entire width of the room that open to a private oceanfront balcony -- the view of the beach and ocean is simply unmatched. The unique balcony design also provides a remarkable view from the master bedroom … that also opens to the balcony through a set of large sliding glass doors. Combined or standing alone, the condo’s floor design and access to the oceanfront balcony affords our guests the joy of waking to magnificent South Carolina sunrises and the tranquil sounds of the Atlantic Ocean every morning.
After a long and fun day on the beach or out on the town seeing the sights, it’s nice to know that upon your return, you can relax in our gorgeous condo with attractive and comfortable furniture. We have a separate, fully equipped kitchen overlooking our dining room with a beautiful, large glass dining table. Some of our condo’s additional amenities are a large washer and dryer, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher, and three cable TVs with VHS and CD player. Linens and bath towels are included, and of course, there’s no additional cleaning fee for weekly rentals. Our condo also has central heat and air—not the individual wall units found in so many other condo complexes.
Our condo at Brigadune is a cut-above and a great choice for your special, vacation retreat. Located in the Arcadian Shores area, it’s close to Barefoot Landing with its shops, outlet malls, restaurants, and entertainment, and only a short walk down the beach to Apache Pier – the longest commercial pier on the east coast, which is perfect for fishing or just lounging and enjoying the beach and ocean. Or, if that’s not enough and you need more, everyone knows that Myrtle Beach is the USA’s leader in golf courses and miniature golf courses! Now, if that’s still not enough, there’s the Carolina Opry, Alabama Theater, Dixie Stampede, the Myrtle Beach Aquarium and just about any other type of entertainment you can imagine – the list goes on and on and it’s all within minutes of our condo. Oh yeah, did we mention that beach chairs and umbrella rentals are also available from the Myrtle Beach “licensed” life guards that are on duty up and down the beach – right where Brigadune is? This condominium is in the quiet area, just north of Myrtle Beach yet south of North Myrtle Beach, between the Hilton Hotel and Marriott's Dunes 'exclusive area!' And, let there be no doubt, this is a fantastic family area with the best beaches you'll find or could imagine! We stayed at this condo the first week in April 2013. The condo was nicely furnished and very spacious for a two bedroom condo. We loved that their was some separation between the bedrooms and living area by a small hallway which made the bedrooms very quiet if someone stayed up to watch TV. As the weather wasn't all that great during the week we were there, it was really nice to have a place that was comfortable and felt like home. The balcony was also quite large and had nice comfy furniture to sit on. We loved having our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the balcony with the beautiful ocean to look at! The area was perfect for us in that it was very central and yet situated on a dead end street which made it nice and quiet. The only suggestion we had was to add a room darkening blind or lined curtains in the 2nd bedroom as the elevator lights are pretty bright at night and shine in the window. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent here again! Thanks so much for sharing your condo. We do hope to be back again soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I am happy to say how pleased we were with the condition of your property.The website description and photos were exactly what we found when we opened the front door.No unpleasant surprises makes for a good vacation.The staff did a great job of keeping the pool area clean and the landscaping was lovely.Shore drive is a terrific area.We would recommend this condo to any one looking for a place that is up to date and taken care of by the owners.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This condo is SO amazing! Everything about it is perfect. The view is spectacular(you can sit on the couch and look out at the ocean) It is spotlessly clean and decorated so cute! You're on the 6th floor of a safe and secure building..we will never stay anywhere else!! We totally enjoyed our stay at Bob and Joannes condo. The condo is clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The beach in front of Brigadune is one of the cleanest prettiest beaches we have every seen, and it was a joy to wake up each day with the million dollar view. The location on Ocean Drive was superb, quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle of a resort town. Restaurants and shopping is very close by, we went to Barefoot Landing, and Tanger Outlets numerous times. Thank you for the great stay, and we truly hope to rent here again! Couldn't have been happier with the condo. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with all the amenities for a week of relaxation at the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals. The balcony was our favorite place to relax, read a book, watch the sun rise over a cup of coffee, and end the day listening to the ocean over cocktails. We are still amazed that while we "found this on the internet" it was exactly as listed. Clean, well-maintained. Owners are gracious and attentive to questions and concerns. We'll be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is a great condo which is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. It was like staying in someone's private home with everything you could possibly need or want. It is located in a great section of Myrtle Beach near many restaurants and activities. The condo was exactly as described - so beautiful and comfortable. I am a sun lover and had all day sun on the porch. We just loved the central location - wonderful restaurants (Cagney's for the lobster) and shopping. The condo is well taken care of with a well stocked kitchen, lots of extra towels and comfortable beds. The owners are wonderful to deal with and I look forward to renting from them in the future!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

We absolutely loved this condo! It looked exactly like the pictures on VRBO! It was clean and spacious with everything we needed. I felt right at home! The kids took turns sleeping on the cot and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I loved how huge the balcony was and enjoyed my alone time there every morning with my coffee while the rest of the family slept in. We are hoping to stay here again next year! Joe Ann was very prompt with any questions we had before our stay and very prompt in returning our deposit after. Very easy and friendly to deal with. Thanks for an awesome vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children.

My wife & I just got back (Oct 2010) from this beautiful condo. The listing and photos were dead on. Condo was clean upon arrival. It was bright and beautifully decorated. You always have concerns if it will be what you expect, with this condo there were no worries. I would highly recommend renting thi condo from the Kennedys. Very pleasant and businesslike to deal with. As mentioned in my review title, the location could not have been better. Building is not gigantic, elevator is prompt, watched approx. 25-30 dolphins from the over size balcony, sand beach is within feet of the property. Restaurants, shopping & grocery stores are real close. Joe Anne & Bob thank you so much for a great vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
