Backyard garden with view of Balaclava Park across the street - Vancouver, Canada Vacation Accommodation Our fully furnished one bedroom garden suite is located in a Dunbar character home. Dunbar is a lovely neighborhood that is 8 km from both Downtown Vancouver (15 min.) and the University of British Columbia (10 min.). We live on Blenheim St. - a long tree-lined street that runs from Jericho beach to the Fraser river. We're 15 min. from Vancouver Airport. Our suite is 680 square feet with a private entrance and a full-size in-suite washer/dryer. The suite is set up to provide a home-away-from-home and comes equipped with a a portable BBQ (in addition to a full kitchen). We have two sons (10 & 6 yrs) and as a result have been able to furnish the suite in a way that would appeal much more to children than a hotel room. We can also provide lots of tips on what to do in and around Vancouver...especially with young children. Our house is located two blocks from Dunbar St. with its Community Centre, Movie Theatre, Video stores, Grocery Store, two Used Book Stores and a Public Library.
