You'll enjoy everything about this great vacation rental in Michiana shores.home was completely renovated in 2005 and has a great open floor plan. Home was decorated by an interior designer and has that ralph lauren feel to it. Beautiful stone fireplace in main room as well as log rails and an actual tree adds to this homes whimsical feel.
There are 3 bedrooms all with wonderful linens and décor. Kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a separate eating island. There is also a separate den on the ground level with a full bathroom. The yard offers a firepit and lovely view of pinetrees.you can hear the peaceful sound of lake michigan and best of all its just a short 1-1/2 blocks to the beach.we also include all your beach stuff ,such as chairs and games. This home has such homey feeling and is the perfect relaxing break you need and is close to everything .

We 5 sisters just returned from a lovely long weekend at Dancing Bear Cottage and we all agree that we've never felt more welcome at a home rental. Everything about the place is inviting, right down to a refrigertor stocked with all those things you might have forgotten. Everything a family could want is right there - enough bikes for a family, beach chairs on a cart, games in the house, firewood for the fire pit, and very accommodating deer who like to hang out in the back yard. As a grandma, I wa impressed by the layout...a private master suite, two additional bedrooms with a shared bath, and the downstairs den with full bath. Plenty of room for us, our 2 kids, and their children, with all of us having some private space. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Last fall was our first stay at the Dancing Bear Cottage...we are going back this fall...we loved it that much! The home is everything the pictures show and more! It was very clean and well maintained and has everything you might need! The atmosphere in the house and the area is fantastic...it is warm, cozy and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed...there is plenty to do in the area...or just stay at the house and relax...the beach is a short walk from the house (about 1 1/2 blocks)...think this may become a yearly trip! the owners are very easy to communicate with and very helpful with questions... The best part of the whole weekend was coming back one evening and finding 2 deer in the front yard...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
