Cabin faces west for beautiful western sunsets viewed from deck, living room, kitchen, front bedroom and optional bunkhouse. Large fire pit and seating for camp fires. Private dock, water toys.
Lake / Pine Island borders the protected Boundary Water Canoe Area (BWCA)and Trout Lake Portage (BWCA). Fortune Bay Casino & Golf Course 10-15 minutes by boat / 20 minutes by car from cabin. Lake is 40 mi. long by boat / 27 mi. by air. Excellent walleye, musky, northern & bass fishing. Excellent duck, partridge, deer & bear hunting.
3 nationally ranked 18 hole area golf courses and 2 local 9 hole golf courses. The Wilderness Fortune Bay Golf Course was ranked by Golf Digest as the '2004 best new public golf course in the U.S. The Quary located near by at Giants Ridge was ranked by Golf Digest as 18th best public Golf Course in the U.S., #1 in Minnesota and received a 4.5 star rating.
