This south facing vacation get-a-way in the private gated community of Rancho Mirage Country Club has been completely recarpeted, tiled, painted and decorated in a beautiful "Tommy Bahama" tropical island theme in 2007. The home has a private tropical oasis atmosphere with four TV's, two of them flat screens, DVD players in every room.
The view from the kitchen, dining room and living room overlook the 7th green outlined with the back drop of the Santa Rosa Mountains. We have a built-in 10 person jacuzzi/dipping pool with spraying fountains on the back patio that can be quickly heated or left cool for a refreshing afternoon dip. The South facing view means afternoons that aren't too hot and glorious morning sunrises off the mountains.
We also have a motorized automatic awning for that afternoon nap in the warm shade while watching golfers chip to the flag and putts on the green. There are two loungers, a table and chairs with a misting sprayer system. A gas bar-b-q grill is on the patio if you want to stay home, unwind and cook.
The master bedroom features a king bed, fireplace, private side yard and spacious walk-in closet. The master bath has double sinks, a jetted tub next to an outdoor garden atrium and a walk-in shower and bidet. The guest bedroom also has a king bed and a twin trundle bed(sleeps two)and it's own private bath with a tub/shower. There is a powder room off of the living room, adjacent to the wet bar.
We have recently remodeled and upgraded the kitchen and furnished it with new small and large appliances, dishes, and silverware. The wet bar offers a complete set-ups with barstools and tropical barware including it's own ice machine for entertaining in style and comfort.
The immediate surrounding community offers a multitude of activities and attractions such as the area's largest outdoor mall "The River", aerial tramway, Indian Wells Tennis Center, recently completed Agua Caliente Casino and Morongo Casino with headline acts within driving range and much more. Our home is about nine miles from the airport.
For you avid golfers: You will have access to the Rancho Mirage Country Club which has a rich history, as distinguished as the address at the corner of Bob Hope & Frank Sinatra Drives. The 18 hole full length course opened in 1985 and provides the golfer with mature, tree lined fairways, subtle undulations, and perfect year round playing conditions, plus views of the entire Coachella Valley and the snow capped peaks of the San Jacinto Mountains from the elevated tees. A welcoming and spacious clubhouse plays host to our PGA Professional Shop full of all of the latest in golf equipment and fashion trends, rental clubs are available in the proshop. The Player’s Grill for casual before or after golf food and beverage service, as well as superb banquet and event facilities for groups of up to 250 are within the clubhouse. |
