TO FIRST TIME VISITORS TO PARIS: Please be aware that many so-called 'luxury' Paris rentals are not renovated to American and Canadian standards (the latest technology/appliances and high-quality/deluxe materials and furnishing/decor). "I write this while staying at Le Petit Reve Dans le Ciel, so I have the distinct pleasure of looking out the window of the study at the glittering Eiffel Tower. This view, dazzling from every window, is obviously one of the great charms of this apartment, but there are many, many others. The place is chic, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-appointed, making life here a very positive experience, both esthetically and practically. Then there is the neighborhood--authentically Parisian, convenient, and full of little corners to discover and explore.
