TO FIRST TIME VISITORS TO PARIS: Please be aware that many so-called 'luxury' Paris rentals are not renovated to North American standards (the latest technology/appliances and high-quality/deluxe materials and furnishing/decor). "I write this while staying at Le Petit Reve Dans le Ciel, so I have the distinct pleasure of looking out the window of the study at the glittering Eiffel Tower. This view, dazzling from every window, is obviously one of the great charms of this apartment, but there are many, many others. The place is chic, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-appointed, making life here a very positive experience, both esthetically and practically. Then there is the neighborhood--authentically Parisian, convenient, and full of little corners to discover and explore. - Air Conditioning: Penthouse does not have air-conditioning as the 9 windows, front and back, provide excellent cross ventilation. Also, all window are shaded to cut summer sun in July, August and early September -- the only time climatization may be needed in Paris.

- Elevator: Elevator to 7th floor -- then guests must walk up a wide, private staircase to private landing to reach the penthouse.

- Double Bed: New high-quality bed that molds to one's body. Provides excellent comfort and support. Purchased 2/07.
- Convertible Bed: Very high quality from European manufacturer -- there is no cross bar support under mattress so guests feel as though they are sleeping in a real bed. The mattress is also covered with a thick merino wool mattress topper wrapped in a duvet for added comfort. This bed is located in the large living/dining area so guests enjoy a spacious sleep environment.
- Entertainment
- Cable/Satellite TV: High-quality 42" LG, High Definition (wall mounted) TV with 100+ cable channels, including english speaking ones. (BBC, CNN, etc.) Also, guests can access pay-per-view movies/concerts. The cost of this will be deducted from security charge.
- DVD
- Video Library: 20+ DVDs of different genres. DVD player accepts programming codes worldwide so guests can bring their favorite shows, if desired.
- Stereo System
- Music Library: There is an IPod with 50+ CDs on a Bose Stereo base station for a quality sound experience. Also, the cable service provides several music channels. Also, there is a set of Harman/kardon speakers that connects to the laptop computer for incredible sound. (These speakers can also be used on one's own laptop.)
- Jetted Tub in Bath: No jets in bath tub but hydro-massage unit with jetted water in marbled, wall- in shower big enough for 2 people.

- Full Kitchen: Kitchen is fully-equipped for the gourmet - electric stove top, oven and stand alone microwave. (See list of small appliances below.) All dinnerware and glassware match - providing a stylish entertaining environment -- and there is more than enough items for 2 people staying a week.

For example, there's a coffee bar complete with several different kinds of coffee, teas, cookies, chocolates and spices and flavor syrups for the coffee. The bathroom has variety of toiletries. The kitchen, all paper/plastic supplies. Guests also receive a bottle of wine, chocolates, a 'welcome gift' (it's a surprise, but something very unusual found at a french flea market) along with complimentary mini-bar. I hope you'll seriously consider choosing "Le Petite Reve Dans Le Ciel", my "Little Dream in the Sky", for your stay in Paris. I have several luxury rental properties in France and California, each of which serves as my 'home' for part of the year. Hence, the properties are designed, renovated and maintained to five-star standards, as I, myself, thoroughly appreciate and enjoy fine living and the style and comfort my houses/cottages and apartments provide. They are not your average, run-of-the-mill rentals, as my many guest testimonials (which can be viewed on my website) confirm.
Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7
I lived in Paris for several years before purchasing the penthouse so I was quite familiar with the City and the profile of different arrondissements and neighborhoods. I chose this property and location because 1) I LOVE the Eiffel Tower, and the penthouse has views of it from 5 windows, 2) the neighborhood is lively (with many cafes/restaurants and stores), safe AND truly Parisian. That is, it's not overrun by tourists, 3) it offers convenient day-to-day living -- stores/services, such as post office, big and small supermarkets, an outdoor market are within a 2-5 minute walk 4) the penthouse is only one block from a convenient metro line that provides easy access to all major sights in the city and a five minute walk to the Champs des Mars, the huge park that surrounds the Eiffel Tower, which provides a great place to walk/run/and people watch.
The Unique Benefits of this Penthouse
I never tire of the stunning views of the Eiffel Tower from each of the penthouse windows. The view is especially inspiring from the window of fully-equipped office/study. So as I work, I can glaze from my desk (which is smack in front of the window) and see this marvelous structure. I also love the privacy of the penthouse, the conveniences (bakeries, food/convenience stores, wine bar) at are literally outside the door (a 30 second walk from the building gates) truly Parisian neighborhood, and walking/exercising on the Champs des Mars, the park of the Eiffel Tower.
