My husband and I had a wonderful visit in Paris which included our truly memorable stay at this Paris Penthouse. The apt. is extensively decorated with mirrors and glass which gave it a very elegant feel. Our arrival was seamless with Victoria's timely and helpful communication. The amenities at the apt were as described in the listing and made for a truly relaxing holiday.

We are two couples from the US that stayed four days in the wonderful apartment. We are from Texas and Missouri. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Was nice and clean. Always felt safe. Just as beautiful as the pictures. Watching the Eiffel Tower light show at night was something to look forward to before retiring for the evening. Beds are very comfortable. You will have most anything you will need and more. The washer/dryer was a big plus! Large bathroom and shower. Paula and Victoria were both a great help and very responsive before and during the stay. Everything is ready for you when you arrive including a very nice notebook filled with information about Paris and how to get around. The Paris metro system was less than a 5 minute walk and is very easy to use and to get around to most anywhere. Most anything you need is very close. Market, grocery store, restaurants, and of course the wonderful pastry shops. Would highly recommend to our friends that travel aboard and we would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to be in Paris. Hope you decided to stay and have a great experience like we did. Sue and Bob from Texas David and Nancy from Missouri

The apartment was fabulous and had all the amenities one could ask for in a place to stay. It was large, clean, and had much more space than the typical Parisian hotel room. Great location. It is not centrally located, but we found it very convenient. The view was spectacular when the Tower was lit and twinkling. I wanted to cook and found the kitchen well equipped and organized. Do not miss the market on Grenelle on Sunday and Wednesday. The mini market directly across the street is open very late and has basics. We bought Diet Coke there nearly every evening as my husband is not a coffee drinker. The bed was very comfortable. There were 2 air conditioners. We did not need them most of the time and just opened the windows, but one day it was in the 70s and the apt was a little stuffy so we used them both for a short while. Easy and worked perfectly. Lots of storage space, a safe, Nespresso maker, milk frother (new cold milk in the frig), selection of coffee, teas and booze. The apartment had everything as described on the website. It also had 2 European hair dryers. I do not believe that was included in the description, but Paula told me in an email exchange so I did not bother dragging mine over. Paula was very accommodating, answering several emails full of questions prior to our arrival. Her responses were very prompt and helpful. Victoria was absolutely great. She also quickly responded to questions by email and kept in communication with us about our arrival. She picked us up at the airport and drove us around for a nice tour of the city afterwards. We were there during a French holiday week and this may not be possible for all guests. She said the traffic was extraordinarily light so a driving tour was possible. We enjoyed it and it helped us get our bearings. Thanks Victoria!! Paula's information book that is in the apartment was a big help too. Go through it when you first arrive and it will help you plan if you don't already have an agenda. We hope to visit Paris again and will definitely try to stay in this apartment again! Would give it 10 stars if we could!

Before booking LPR, we read all of the ratings and selected this property based on the many 5-star ratings. This is truly a 5-star rental that exceeded our expectations. Everything needed is provided and the instruction booklet provided by Paula is outstanding. Location is convenient to two Metro stations and a wonderful farmers market (Wednesday and Sunday). Paula is an excellent host and even introduced us via e-mail to an American couple that lived in Paris. We met the couple for lunch at the Musee d'Orsay for a truly wonderful day. My wife and I would definitely stay at LPR again!

We found LPR exactly as advertised! The Penthouse was roomy, light-filled, sophisticated, charming and equipped with every imaginable amenity. Thanks Paula for all the complimentary items including the well stocked spirits bar and your special gifts. We made full use of your invaluable instructional booklet outlining condo details and need to know information.....the most comprehensive we have ever seen in our many years of travel. We had a wonderful time visiting the many sights in the marvellous city of Paris, and what a pleasure it was each evening to return "home" to the condo after a busy day. Except for one evening when we dined at Les Deux Magots, we chose to dine in, preparing dinner in the gourmet kitchen with skylight venting. The convenient location, privacy/security, and comfortable bed were appreciated.......and the unobstructed views of the surroundings and the iconic Eiffel Tower were just as promised! We stayed only 5 nights at LPR and were saddened when check-out day arrived. However, there is so much more to see in Paris and when we return we certainly would plan to stay at this most desirable, all-inclusive unit once again!

The apartment was clean and well appointed; we felt pampered by the nice furnishings. The bed was also quite comfortable. The pictures do not do justice to the view! We used the kitchen for several meals; it was a joy to cook in. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood; the pub across the street (Comptoir Moderne) was friendly, as were the local boulangeries. Public transportation was close & excellent. Also, the notebook in the apt. which described how to operate the appliances, etc. was invaluable. Our only complaint: our stay wasn't long enough! We hope to return again. Thank you Paula, & also Victoria, who met us at the appointed time, showed us the apt & answered our questions.

This was my second time to stay at this lovely apartment. I enjoyed my stay so much on my previous trip so I decided to return and bring my daughter with me. The apartment was clean and organized and it provided us with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved that we could cook, do laundry, make phone calls, catch up on emailing, sleep in a really comfortable bed, make fresh coffee and enjoy some provided wine and sweets in the evening. At night as we had our wine we would watch the lights on the Eiffel Tower from the apartment windows. A fun thing to do that is only minutes away from the apartment is to shop at the street market. Besides the great foods we were able to buy gifts for home at some great prices. I think one of the bonus's of the apartment location is that you can walk to everything. As women traveling alone, we felt very safe in the apartment because it is gated and you need a code to get in. Then you need another code to get into the building. The owner Paula was very nice. She was easy to work with and so helpful when it came to our questions and arrangements. I plan on returning again to this apartment located in a lovely neighborhood. LLB

My mother and I had the most wonderful stay here in Paris. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for two women traveling together in Paris. The beds are so comfortable, including the sofa bed!! The views truly are unbelievable, and the apartment is decorated beautifully. We enjoyed delicious coffee every morning without even having to leave the apartment and hot baths in a lovely tub every evening. One of my favorite things was the fun collection of Paris related DVD's available to watch. It was fun to see the places in film that we had just visited that day! Plus the apartment's location is wonderful. I felt so safe walking around with my mother. There were great restaurants and cafes right across the street, and the metro is so close and easy jump right on. Definitely a fabulous place to stay!!

Paris has been my home away from home. I have rented many apartments in different arrondisements in Paris for the past 12 years and this apartment is easily one of the best I have stayed at. It all started when Paula understandably re-booked our reservation after an unfortunate event and had to reschedule our vacation. This is a great flexibility in the contract that is not too common in short term Paris rentals. The apartment is conveniently located to 2 Metro stations and we are lucky to get our morning croissants at Maison Poilane which is just around the corner of the building, a wine cave and a great locals wine bar right across the building. The apartment has some great amenities - the space is filled with luxury and topped it off with the marvelous view of Tour Eiffel. The Nespresso coffee perked us every morning and coming back to the apartment after a long day of adventure in Paris was very relaxing. This apartment comes highly recommended to someone who wants to experience life with the locals.

The owner’s description and photo’s are spot on, no disappointments here. This is a great apartment in an ideal location, so quiet and private you truly get to relax after a day of sightseeing. Situated away from the tourist mobs, you return each day to a home base devoid of crowds yet surrounded by excellent restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and blocks of quality shops. Within an easy walk are the Rodin museum/gardens and sculptures of the Thinker and the Kiss. Then there’s Napoleon’s tomb and Frances largest military museum, all this within the shadow of the Eiffel tower. Three separate subway lines in the neighborhood take you to whatever destination you have in mind and the train to the Palace of Versailles is one stop away. No need to take loaded up suitcases here as the washer and dryer easily handled our laundry requirements. The marble kitchen and bath are modern and pleasing to the eye. As my wife says, “It’s perfection in Paris”. I say the apartments petit stocked bar, elevator and the café across the street are “perfection in Paris”. The computer and printer in the office came in handy to print out our web purchased museum tickets as well as our flight tickets. Then there are the extra touches like the espresso maker, chocolates, DVD player and Bose sound. We have now returned here a second time and the view of the Eiffel tower from the apartment never grows old, especially at night when it sparkles on the hour. We love staying at Paula’s ‘Le Petit Reve’ and have no doubt that you will too!

The owner was wonderful to work with and made the entire process so easy for us seeing as this was our first trip to Paris. We will 100% be booking again in the future. This location made our stay so wonderful. I highly recommend looking into this and booking it!!!! <3

This apartment is truly a dream with views of the Eiffel Tower from every room! It's like walking into your very own luxury apartment in Paris. This apartment has everything you need and more, from the fully equipped kitchen (all utensils, Nespresso Coffee, Teas, Mini Bar, dishes and pans) to the large and luxurious bathroom. The office with computer and printer overlooks the neighborhood and the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower, just in case you forget your in Paris! The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and amazing closet space with 2 closets (1 of them a walk-in closet) so you can unpack and truly feel at home. Movies? Paris Guide Books? Restaurant Recommendations? Whatever you need, it's there. And if that's not enough there's a small market on the corner as well as several bakeries on the same street. We just loved it and will stay here again on our next visit!

the listing was very accurate and the apartment had everything you could think of and more. The photos were very accurate but the ammenities you can not realize from the pics it was even better. the property was very cleaned and maintained. The owner and property manager were great we had no problems or issues but felt comfortable to call either if we needed too. I would recommend this property for everyone except maybe a large group no more than 4 max perfect for 2. The area had many restraunts and easy to get to taxis and metro which was also very easy to use. I felt safe and our trip was perfect. See the Notre Dame my favorite but so much to see and the eiffel tower at night with the flashing lights every hour amazing. Thank you again.

This apartment was even more beautiful than the pictures let on! I could live in this apartment happily for months. The building has pre-war charm, but the apartment itself is newly renovated and has the most up to date amenities and appliances. Not to mention - the view of the Eiffel Tower from the window of the penthouse is magnificent. We had a perfect stay thanks to Paula's detailed instructions/guides/suggestions for restaurants, tourism, and shopping in the area. Victoria, who welcomed us, gave us an excellent overview of everything we needed to know about Paris and the penthouse for our stay. The space is spacious and far surpasses any of my experiences in hotels in Paris. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is a lovely apartment in the 15th arron., which we found to be convenient to all of the sites of Paris. The apartment contains all of the necessities one would need to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is ideal for cooking as it contains every imaginable utensil. The bathroom is quite large with a separate shower and a tub for soaking after a long day of site seeing. The washing machine and drier located in the bathroom is a great bonus for those who choose to travel light. The photos accurately portray this apartment, it is very clean and well maintained. The owner of LPR was extremely helpful in answering all questions quickly and any concerns about renting as this was my first time renting. I highly recommend this apartment. Come and enjoy Paris from this comfortable apartment. The view of the Eiffel Tower is amazing.

We are here for our sixth day as | write this review, and every one has been magic! The apartment is spotless, beautiful, and convenient. The photos don't do it justice, as the vista from most every window of the rooftops, chimneys and Tour Eiffel is simply magnificent. Strolling the neighborhood makes us feel very Parisian indeed. The shopkeepers are very friendly and giggle at our attempts to speak French. We have tried two of Paula's recommended restaurants with great success, and plan to visit a third this evening. A comfortable, safe, beautiful nest in a fabulous city. Thank you, Paula!

My husband, myself and our young daughter stayed at Paula's apartment in January 2013. it was ideal for us as it was modern, clean and well equipped and located in a very convenient area of Paris. We normally stay in hotels and have stayed in the best and worst hotels in the world but for this trip we wanted more space and we found it. The apartment had everything we needed including an extensive library of books on Paris and France as well as a directory providing every service, restaurants, transport information and useful tips one could ever need as a tourist. The study/office allowed my husband to work during the night with Australian business while my daughter and I slept undisturbed. The building is very quiet and has great security including an elevator which is rare in Paris and an great view of the Eiffel Tower. Also within 30metres of the front gate are a patisserie, wine bar and general store and close by are good restaurants where we had dinner on a couple of occasions. 'Hotel Paula"( the Paris Penthouse) gets *****stars and we would highly recommend as a place to stay.

It’s really worth to get away from the standard hotel circuits (even if we are talking about a 5 star hotel) and live like a Parisian. The apartment is amazing, the Eiffel Tower views are breathtaking (specially by night), the neighborhood is a typical Parisian environment. Everything in is just like announced, even better than what you see in photos and feel in description. In addition you have in the apartment a complete a very useful “Paula’s guide” for services like transports, healthcare, restaurants, etc. Plus, you can find in house absolutely everything you need to feel, be and act as if you were at home. A must.

The flat was well located in a typical Parisian neighborhood, well enough away from the typical tourist areas yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood offers everything you would want and there is a fantastic high street nearby. Paula was great answering all of our questions and making recommendations that were spot on. And, Victoria gave us a very thorough check-in, meeting us a little earlier than expected. Knowing that Victoria and Paula were only a phone call away was comforting to know. The apartment was well furnished and Paula has a fantastic information book that was filled with everything we would need to orient ourselves to the flat, the neighborhood and Paris. We enjoyed walking to the Eiffel Tower (10 min), the Musee D'Orsay, Tuileries and the Rodin Museum (20-25 min) All in all, it was a great stay and lovely penthouse flat. We will be back!

This apartment will stay in our hearts and memories for life. It very well equipped, well decorated, and modern as expected from the pictures and video. Surprisingly, it is very homely and comfortable as well. The neighborhood is outside of the trendy and busy areas such as Marias, but this was very refreshing for us, a young couple in our 30's on our honeymoon. We very much enjoyed the real Parisian life in this middle class neighborhood which still boasted great shopping, food and best of all, a great bakery right down the street. We also enjoyed cooking our own meals from the grocery store a few blocks away. The apartment had easy access to busses, and we also found that cab fares in Paris are very reasonable compared to our home in San Francisco. Our longest cab fare was only 23 Euros and that was all the way across the city for a 45 minute ride. The view of the Eiffel Tower is amazing, the office space is great, the internet is fast for streaming movies at night, and we made great use of the Nespresso machine. The bed is very comfortable and the shower and appliances are all top of the line. Paula the owner is wonderful and even sent us some postcards we left behind all the way back to the US. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment (1 of 2 that we stayed in over 10 days) very much and will be back to celebrate wedding anniversaries in the future!

I recently stayed at this property with my wife and parents between Christmas and New Year's. Overall, it was a great experience. Paula is very easy to work with and the apartment itself is very well maintained. The location is excellent, though it is in the 15th Arrondissement and not the 7th; the 7th is just a couple blocks away. Very easy access to the Paris Metro and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tour and Invalides. The only slight negative was dealing with the property manager on site who was difficult to get ahold of and upset that it took us a few minutes to find parking when we arrived. She was unable to tell us how to use the Wifi and got confused multiple times about when we were leaving. Otherwise, a good choice for a place to stay in Paris.

Owner response: Please note that everyone, including property managers such as Victoria, may have days when they are not at the top of their game. This is the first time in 5 years, as supported by the many five-star guests reviews listed here, that anyone has had a negative comment about Victoria. As we have been working together for a long time, I know she consistently goes 'above and beyond' to ensure penthouse guests are well attended to these as the following published excerpts demonstrate. "Paula and her Property Manager, Victoria, were very helpful before, during, and after our trip and did everything possible to ensure that our stay was a memorable one." "Victoria had provided shuttle service from the Train Station (and to the airport) and helped us to settle into the apartment, explaining how to use the numerous amenities and giving tips to get the most out of our stay." "Victoria met us at CDG as planned. She delivered us to the flat in her car with commentary along the way. She is a real gem." There are many more positive comments about Victoria and her outstanding service but not enough space here to list them all.

We traveled to Paris for the first time not knowing what to expect. We had read numerous reviews of the hotel rooms in Paris and were concerned about being cooped up too much. Fortunately, we found this apartment which was plenty big for our 5-day stay (we are spoiled Americans :)). I will try not to repeat what the other reviews say - agree with pretty much everything. Victoria was supposed to meet us at the airport but unfortunately fell ill the day we arrived. But we easily found our way to the apartment by taking the RER B train and then the metro. We took the metro and walked the rest of the time. The location was very convenient! We originally thought we would have preferred the Marais district but didn't regret our choice at all. Don't miss the open air market on Grenelle! We got a rotisserie chicken with cooked potatoes and carrots, bread and cheese and feasted in "our" apartment - one of our memorable meals. If you can get there, try La Bonne Excuse restaurant near Musee d'Orsay - the best meal we had! Paula was most helpful and very professional. We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

This is the fourth time I've rented LPR since 2009 and it's always a pleasure to stay here, whether for a few days or as I have in the past, up to two month stays. The penthouse is very large and luxurious for a Paris rental apartment and as someone who spends half my life in rented apartments around the world, LPR is one place I always look forward to returning to because it is well-equipped like a true home. My husband and I are food lovers and we adore the local market on Wednesday and Sundays and cook extensive meals in the kitchen (there's everything from baking equipment to an oyster knife); it's easy for us to have another couple over and eat together at the beautiful dining table. It's easy to get anywhere in the city from here and of course, any night you stay in you will still delight in being in Paris because of the view. As I also run a small business so I greatly value the reliable internet and global phone service so I don't have to change the way I work while I'm here. A gem!

We stayed here this month (Oct '12) on our way to Italy for a cruise. It was very handy for getting around and sightseeing, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, a nice patisserie/coffee shop in the next block for breakfast. The unit is small, but clean and well appointed, bed is comfortable (I am 5'11"), and the shower is large. The kitchen is small and has a sloped ceiling, but would be adequate for a short stay -we chose to eat our meals out. The bar fixings were there, but not premium and not as in the picture as I saw it, champagne was a small split. WiFi was good, did not try the TV. But wait until you see the Eiffel Tower light show at night on the hour -when the sparkles light up. It took our breath away. We would not hesitate to return here, especially after seeing the prices and small sizes of the hotels that were available on short notice. My wife wants to return again next year. Thx Paula!

Owner response: Please note the penthouse a very good size for a one-bedroom Paris apartment. It's 60 square meters or 645 square feet. Most one-bedroom apartments are between 40-45 square meters, and most average hotel rooms around 15 square meters. Also, the complimentary spirits are very good brands from France and Russia that are not easily found in the U.S. Hence, most Americans may not be familiar with their names.

My husband and I stayed six nights in this glorious apartment with a memorable view. It was all that it was described to be and more. Beautifully decorated, clean and very well maintained. I would recommend this property to anyone considering option of an apartment vs. a hotel room. It was so nice to be able to make breakfast in our own kitchen, coffee on demand, and not have to go out. The large bathtub was so luxurious after a long day of walking. Friends who were staying at a nearby hotel, paying almost as much per night for a very small one room, were quite jealous of our accommodations. Very short walk to the nearest Metro station, many nice neighborhood markets and restaurants. We will never rent a Hotel room again after experiencing the luxury of an apartment. Finally, you could not ask for a nicer owner. Paula was extremely helpful in answering many questions prior to and during our visit. The property manager takes very good care of you on arrival as well. We were so impressed with Paula, we also rented her cottage in the South of France.

We just finished our fifth -- or maybe sixth -- stay at LPR, and each time was better than the last. The apartment is nearly perfect, with amazing views of Tour Eiffel, providing a light show into the night. We entertained friends one evening, and they were blown away, and ready to leave their hotel on the spot. The new bed is a great addition. The location couldn't be better -- two minute walk to Picard (don't miss -- it proves that "gourmet frozen food" is not an oxymoron) and the Paris Metro, close to Rue de Commerce, Wednesday and Saturday markets not to be missed, and more. Others have mentioned the excellent binder, with much information about the apartment and appliances, as well as Paula's recommendations for living in the neighborhood. We particularly concurr with her recommendation that you visit Marie-Edith Restaurant at 34 rue de Laos (a five minute walk). Easy to miss and walk by -- pay attention. We enjoyed two excellent meals there -- food, ambiance and service were all excellent. Paula is the perfect hostess. Since we have been there several times, we skip the welcome from Victoria, but on our 2011 visit, when the evevator went down, she and her sons were there in minutes to help with carrying luggage down eight flights. We have also stayed in Paula's flat in London, and her cottage in Languedoc, with equally positive experiences. You can't have a better Parisian experience that a stay at LPR, nor a better hostess than Paula!

This is one of the few places we have rented in our 5 month travel through out Europe that has delivered in full what was offered (except for the car parking). Luckily we didnt require this in the end but there is public street parking all around. The apartment was beautifully presented and had every single thing you could want. Even had the Nepresso coffee machine with a good supply of tablets and the champagne, beautiful biscuits, chocolates and a bar of spirits you are welcome to use. Paula was just so generous in every way and arranged for a really nice guy Alan to meet us and go through everything. Her book was amazing with details of everything you need to know from appliances to markets. Wifi was great. Lovely big TV with ood channels. The bed so comfortable. The kitchen great and the views and comfort of the apartment was just wonderful. We loved it and have already recommended to 2 friends that are due there next year. In fact the 5 days we were there we always ended up eating in as we loved the apartment so much. Thank you Paula for being such a caring and generous landlady.

Paula, thank you SO MUCH for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment in Paris. The feel and decor of the place is AWESOME. My wife and I were there for 3 days at the tail end of our honeymoon and what a GREAT way to end the trip! Very cozy, very comfy, and had all the amenities. AWESOME view of the Eiffel Tower and great spot to see the light show in the evenings including the final lights out at 1am. Perfect walking distance to the Eiffel tower (about 10 minutes) to where we could catch the underground or our double decker sightseeing bus to take us to other parts of the city. This was my first trip to Paris and your apartment did not disappoint. Great, great spot. Thanks Paula!

Owner response: Please note the closest metro to the penthouse is a 2 minute walk. The metro stop at the Eiffel Tower mentioned in the review is indeed a 10 minute walk.

I'm a value-oriented traveler so I'm always looking to for a great deal. Even though this apartment may cost more than some other one-bedroom properties, taking into account the quality of the accommodation/location and the many 'extras' you get for your money, it's worth every penny! Paula is not kidding when she says 'five-star luxury' in her ad! She has every detail attended to. Plus there's the convenient location close to the metro, the safe neighborhood with gourmet bakeries and stores. The other thing I loved was that you can unwind after a busy day to the superb Eiffel Tower views from all windows! The rate includes so many complimentary things – a private car service provided by the friendly property manager who also provides a tour of Paris during your drive from the airport to the apartment, a nice bottle of champagne and artisan cookies upon arrival, a fully stocked bar, every conceivable blend of coffee for a Nespresso espresso and cappuccino machine, free international phone calls and unlimited WIFI plus an office with printer, scanner, paper, envelopes, supplies, etc – a godsend for someone like me who has to work while on holiday. Other nice touches are a big (large than queen size but smaller than king size) comfortable bed, soft towels and linens, comfy robes and slippers, and a large, wall-mounted smart HDTV that you lets you access many English speaking channels and surf the Net for additional programming of your choice. Paula uses the best possible exchange rate, the wholesale bank rate, which saved me about 10 euros a night. Other apartment owners I contacted were charging a retail exchange rate, which increased their nightly rental rate above what was quoted in their ads. Thanks Paula for a fantastic stay in Paris!

I stayed at LPR for a week this summer and it was honestly the most amazing week I have ever experienced. I have studied in Paris several times so know the city fairly well, but this was the first time in an actual apartment. Being half tourist half prior resident of the city, I can say from both perspectives that this apartment had everything to offer. There were so many books and resources to use for exploring and learning about the city, and the owner has a book with all of her own recommendations in the area. If I had never been to the city before, just having these resources would have been ample material so plan my days of sight seeing. However, even knowing the city I found that the location and recos were so attractive; I took advantage of the open air markets just a block away and spent quite a bit of time shopping another street over. The interior of the apartment is, as the french name of the apartment suggests, a dream. The beautiful decorations, bedding, bathroom...everything, really made me feel like I was living in Parisian luxury. I would wake up every morning, cook my fresh produce in the kitchen (which blew me away), and then drink my coffee while sitting at window at the eiffel tower. I would have a friend over for a glass of wine in the evening and we'd watch the tower's light show once it got dark. I could go on for days but I believe this apartment is the Parisian dream vacation and will remember it forever.

The flat was the only one that I could find that offered our six “musts”- safe area, one bedroom, centrally located, close to the Metro, A/C and authentic Wi-Fi for my iPad. It was perfect for two grandparents and our 10 year old grandson. The owner provided the best welcome book that we have encountered. We did not have to waste any time scouting the area as the book had it all. The flat is absolutely first class with all the amenities one would expect. The renting agent, Victoria, met us at CDG as planned. She delivered us to the flat in her car with commentary along the way. She is a real gem.

We had a wonderful week at this apartment. The property was in a fabulous location. Very close to the metro and Eiffel tower. There were plenty of places nearby by for groceries. There were also plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby and on the street. One didn't need to walk far for wonderful pastries or wine!!! The property was clean and everything was well maintained. The property manager picks you up from the airport and is very helpful in answering any questions you may have. I would recommend the owner's picks of restaurants as they were wonderful experiences for us. I would recommend this wonderful place to all visiting Paris. The only thing that was overlooked was the Champagne upon arrival. Somehow it was forgotten but we were still very happy there!!! Fat Tire night biking around Paris is a must for the adventurous types!!!! Lots of fun!!! Recommend all to visit this apartment and Paris!!!

I decided long ago that whenever I travel to another country that I will try living as a local as much as possible. LPR not only meets my expectations but exceeds most Parisians standard of living in terms of its size and amenities. Although LPR is situated very close to major attractions it is also located in a very typical residential neighborhood of Paris. You will be surround by locals going about their daily routine of shopping, going to work and socializing which is exactly what I was looking for, it will not feel touristy at all. It you are ever looking for the opportunity to get away from yourself in a wonderful city with all the comforts of home and of course to sample some of the finest food in the world I highly recommend a stay here, if only for a moment.

LPR has all of the comforts of five star Parisian hotel and more including: a full service kitchen, turn-key office (printer, computer, free int'l / domestic calls), full bath with tub AND shower as well as a separate bedroom with walk-in cedar closet. It is decorated with a modern, romantic flair versus french country. It is very cool and airy with a great cross draft (if you don't want to use the AC). The additional touches were wonderful including luxurious robes, full candy jars, full service bar and free nespresso and a milk frother (just like mine from home - it made my trip complete waking up every morning having a home made latte and checking email from the office overlooking the Eiffel Tower). In the office, you have a large variety of resources for Paris including old guides other guests have left behind which is great. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is very convenient. There are three fabulous bakeries within five minutes of the apartment. My favorite was at the Garibaldi circle - very fresh pastries and breads with yummy salads and sandwiches too. For those who like to be active, you are a five minute run to the Champ de Mars and ten minutes to the Seine via the Eiffel Tower to head down to Notre Dame and back. There is also a gym around the corner from the apartment on Fremicourt - Club Med is the local gym franchise - you can pay by the day. You are in a great location for catching several metro lines or a 15 minute+ walk to the Eiffle Tower. For those of you who know Paris (I have been a dozen times), this is not in the 7th arrondisement as advertised, it is in the 15th which is a little dirtier and less quaint with more of a mix in architecture. However, after the intial disappointment upon realizing that, I came to love the conveniences of the unit, the size, brightness and views, as well as the fact that you are within 5-10 minutes you can walk to the Champ de Mars and then the neighborhoods north and east that I adore were in reach. I would definitely recommend LPR. It is clean, comfortable and the small touches make all of the difference; it is a very fair value. Thanks Paula!

Thank-you so much for letting us stay at LPR for a long weekend to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Your beautiful apartment was everything we could have hoped for and the view of the Eiffle Tower with it's twinkling lights at night is something we'll always remember. The apartment is in an excellent location with everything you need within walking distance. Just got home from our week in Paris! We LOVED absolutely every minute of it, and sad that it's over already:( I have never rented an apartment before while on vacation. We have always stayed in hotels, but after several recommendations from friends, we decided to give it a try...we will never go back to hotels! From the moment we saw the apartment, we knew we had made the right decision!! First of all the view was incredible!!! The pictures on her profile do not even come close to the views that you have! We were able to watch the light show on the Eiffel Tower every night. We never missed a night...the show was incredible. The apartment itself was amazing!!! European hotel rooms are tiny, and for the same price we got an entire apartment with beautiful views of the city from all windows including full and partial Eiffel Tower views from a majority of the windows! The kitchen was so fun and fully stocked. The free wifi was a great addition to our trip! We were able to upload photos every night to make our friends back home jealous every night as we watched the light show:) Free phone calls back to the states made it easy for us to check in with family. The closet space was out of this world. The bedroom was amazing and so was the living room and office! Plenty of space and just a fun place to stay. Plus, there was an elevator!! Rue du Commerce became one of our favorite streets! It was a block away, and had tons of cafes and shops. Our favorite cafe quickly became Le Piquet:) Metro was super close within a block in any direction. Eiffel was about a 5-10 minute walk. It all sounded way to good to be true by the reviews and the info posted about the apartment, but it was all true!!! If we are ever lucky enough to make it back, we would stay here again. Great location, always felt safe and loved the apartment and views! My dream trip to Paris became a reality last week and most of the dream came true because of this perfect place to stay! I am one of those people who don't believe everything is too good to be true, so I always try to leave a negative to bring things back to reality...unfortunately there's not a negative...there was nothing negative about our stay. I would book this again in a heartbeat! Paula was wonderful to work with and so was her property manager Victoria! If you are going to Paris, this is a perfect place to stay! We hope you enjoy your dream trip to Paris as much as we did! We will carry the wonderful memories with us forever!

My first apartment rental that's now to be one of many going forward!!! Paula's Paris rental was the perfect place to end our 3 week European vacation. The location was incredible.. walking distance to the metro, walking distance to the Eiffel, many cafes to choose from, markets and bakeries within a block away, even a McDonald's if your somehow missing American fast food? The gated penthouse unit was very tidy and well put together with views of the Eiffel that sparkled on the hour from many a window. The marble shower and extra large bath were perfect after a long day of sight seeing not to mention the FREE... Yes, I said FREE full bar and Nespresso coffee machine with many flavor choices to choose from. I think I shed a tear when I saw the Bosch washer and dryer! (I'm one of those that can't wear an item more than 2 times) That alone saved at least 100 Euros (or more in my case) in hotel laundry service charges. Warning: The kitchen with stove top, refrigerator and microwave might cause over consumption of carbs and protein!!! It was just so easy to pick up a baguette, croissants and the many variety of cheeses and meats. I couldn't believe how good the eggs that we cooked were! I've never seen yolks as yellow/orange as these. (American's..... prepare your taste buds, go to the local market, purchase and cook your own eggs. I promise, you'll feel cheated by the quality we get in our own grocery stores!) Oh Paula!!! If only I had known about your London vacation rental in Eccleston Square you had as well prior to my pre-paid hotel booking that was 1 block away!! Thanks so much for your hospitality and letting us stay at your wonderful apartment for our Parisian New Year holiday. Please tell your apartment manager Victoria we said hello and thanks for getting us acclimated to the apartment and surroundings. We just loved her!!! Till next time.....Au revoir!!!

When I think of Paris and my fondest memories, LPR will be first and foremost among my most positive and happy thoughts. LPR, besides having spectacular views, all the amenities of a comfortable home and modern living, fantastic lighting and decor, is by far the best apartment I have rented in Paris! The neighborhood is filled with friendly people and the metro is minutes from the apartment. Paula, the owner, has made sure that every detail of perfect living has been provided. I've visited many apartments and stayed in many first class hotels in Paris, and LPR has provided me with a home-away-from-home that can't be duplicated. Thank you, Paula, for creating one of the best experiences of my life!

I have stayed at Le Petit Reve twice - my first visit was in October 2010. It was my first trip to Paris, along with my mom, to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had suc a fabulous time that we decided to do it all again in October 2011 for another one-week stay. We are absolutely in love with Paris, and will continue to request LPR when we return! It's really nice to have a place that feels like your own while you're travelling overseas, and offers more space and privacy than a hotel. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need - Internet, printer, washer/dryer, etc. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance, along with easy access to Le Metro, Le Tour Eiffel and more! There is also a little grocer right across the street, so we would often buy little breakfast items to have in the morning, and would also keep bottled water in the fridge to save time and money. It was pretty cool to wander the neighbourhood and pretend we were real Parisians! Merci beaucoup LPR - a la prochaine fois!

My daughter and I have just spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment. We have been corresponding with the owner before and during our stay and she has been very helpful in making our Paris stay memorable. The apartment has everything. Its 8th floor location gives spectacular views. Don't worry - the lift goes to the 7th floor. You know you are in Paris when you see the Eiffel Tower from your window. We were mesmerised each night as we watched the twinkling light show. There were also spectacular views at sunrise and sunset. The apartment is very well equipped with lots of special extras e.g. laptop and internet access, free calls to landlines in many countries, coffee machine and a range of coffees to taste, Flat screen tv with multiple channel access, a kitchen well stocked with cooking appliances, utensils and crockery, and a range of bathroom items. Everything is so close - from mouth-watering boulangeries, brasseries, to the rail network. The owner also provides a range of information to assist to make your stay memorable. You can even arrange with the property manager to be collected from the airport which was wonderful when we arrived late at night after 28 hours travel from Australia. All in all a great experience!

Our stay at LPR was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Paula and her property manager Victoria went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Victoria had provided shuttle service from the Train Station (and to the airport) and helped us to settle into the apartment, explaining how to use the numerous amenities and giving tips to get the most out of our stay. The apartment itself is very conveniently located near the main attractions, but enough away from the busy attractions to provide an authentic Parisian experience. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen fully stocked, and Paula had provided a few special surprises to make us feel most welcome. Thank you very much Paula, should our travels bring us back to Paris, we would gladly take up the opportunity to stay again!

There is no doubt about it that Paula has thought about everything in order to make a couples stay in Paris truly exceptional. My wife and I went on our 3rd wedding anniversary and there was nothing more we could have asked for. From the beautiful apartment and it's excellent location, you are guaranteed to see Paris in a truly beautiful light. The apartment caters for you in so many ways that make a hotel look incredibly inadequate, and the location with its many amenities, a ten minute walk to the eiffel tower and the ability to jump on the metro two minutes away, means you are within easy reach of most of Paris's many wonderful historical artefacts and museums. An excellent 5 star holiday!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 40th anniversary with our first trip to Paris. We had a great time in the city and Paula's penthouse apartment was a fabulous home away from home. The views of the Eiffel Tower are breathtaking, the appointments are all first class, the neighborhood is quiet and the local shopkeepers were friendly and helpful. Public transportation is about 2 blocks away, making it very convenient to all the sights a "first timer" would want to take in. It was truly a pleasure, after a long day of sightseeing, to be able to come back and relax in such pleasant surroundings. We never tired of coming home in the evening and watching the Eiffel Tower lit and twinkiling outside our window. Everything we expected, and more. We would definately reccommend this apartment to any of our friends and would stay here again if we make it back to Paris.

We love to go to the local open-air market and cook with the local ingredients, the kitchen is truly well-equipped, even for foodies. Flooded with natural light, there's a stunning view that's perfect day or night. And while it's close to all the tourist sites (if that's what you're here for), it's in a neighborhood that's truly residential and not crowded - so you can feel like a true Parisian when you're just staying in the neighborhood. No noise from the neighbors, cozy and comfortable - simply fantastic.

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

"LPR is an absolute gem and we will absolutely return (for a longer time!) Paula, you have thought of everything and it was all appreciated. We arrived back at LPR each evening of our stay, completely amazed that the Eiffel Tower awaited us yet again; it is a sight never to tire of."

"We're here after staying three times already. It's even more comfortable than our first visit."
