“Charming and Cozy.” We enjoyed the thoughtful touches, such as coffee in the freezer. The charming antiques, nice quality linens and convenience of a washer and dryer in the garage. We will come back again!!

“Better than "Home Away from Home"!” Forest View is the cleanest, nicest and most well supplied place I've stayed in while visiting my daughter at HSU.

“Great Place” We went to visit our son during spring break and stayed at the forest view studio. It was a great place to stay. Large, roomy, well stocked with every convenience, clean and close to every thing. And very quiet. We enjoyed ourselves, even with the rain - and they had umbrellas for us to use. Thanks again for having such nice places to stay - a home away from home.

It was wonderful to visit my son here at HSU and be able to cook him his favorite meals. Forest View is the most perfect place for me--I will be back!

I came back to Arcata to see old friends, having lived here 5 years. This town, with its friendly, caring people, is truly magical, as is Forest View! I have long dreamed of falling asleep to the sound of running water. Thank you.

What a rich experience! You have paid attention to all the details. I wish my husband could have come with me--it is quite extravagant to have the place to myself, although I very much enjoyed the solitude. I will be back. Thanks for the care and attention that were apparent in every area.

What a great difference from a hotel or B&B. Comfortable, clean, relaxing--an easy place to work from. Great pizza at Pete's NY Pizza and awesome steak at Folie Douce. I look forward to staying here again, and trying the other Arcata Stay locations.

Forest View Stay is absolutely charming. The views, decor, beautifully selected CD's to listen to while sipping our coffee and tea by the cozy fireplace felt as if we were in another world. To wake up to a spectacular sunrise and hear the waterfall from the deck was soothing. We very much enjoyed the cozy robes, great selection of books and movies. Thank you Christy from the bottom of our hearts for a beautiful, welcoming experience--we will be back again and again.

We enjoyed baking pies together and having family time away from home. Our daughter was anxious for "home" versus "dorm" living. Saturday, the weather was sosunny and warm that we spent much of the day on the deck or at the picnic table by the pond and fountain. Delightful. Loved everything about Forest View. Thank you

After a long drive from Mendocino and the Avenue of the Giants, we were hoping to find a comfortable temporary place to call home. You didn't disappoint us. Forest View was cozy and quiet and exactly what we needed. Everything was high end and we felt like we were in the home of friends versus a vacation rental. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Christy--I have stayed at the Rose Court Cottage many times and was sad when it was booked. However, I must say that Forest View is up to your high standards and was a very relaxing break. The appointments were top drawer and it was SPOTLESS! Congrats on another success!

We came here to visit our daughter who is a freshman at HSU. We absolutely loved everything about Forest View from the views from the windows and decks to our daily walks into town and hikes in Arcata Community Redwood Park. We felt very much like home in the beautiful accommodations. Because of our extended stay, we were able to experience the joys of the community. We hope Forest View will be available for our next stay. We can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks.

Thank you for all of your wonderful thoughtful amenities. One of our first nights here it rained like crazy.... Discovering that there were umbrellas in a drawer was an unexpected and greatly appreciated extra. It felt like being a guest in someone's home, lovely well appointed home.
