  We had a wonderful time at Shores, particularly in your upscale unit. It was clean, neat, well decorated and comfortable. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The location of Shores in PC could not be more ideal. We were able to walk to our favorite restaurant, Dee's. So glad all the road work finished and have to say it was worth waiting for as they did an excellent job of nice sidewalks and turn lanes, etc. so that when we want to go to our favorite church down there, Woodlawn Methodist, or to Another Broken Egg for breakfast traffic moves smoothly. Enjoyed immensely!!!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  This condo was beautiful, clean, and met or exceeded my expectations. The decor was upgraded and there were plenty of places to sit in the living area. The view was amazing... straight out to the beach. I would definitely stay in this condo again. The location was the best as far as view and convenience to the parking garage and elevators. Beautiful and comfortable!!! Can't wait to go back next year.

  All in all we had an okay time. The resort is an organizational disaster presently. People were waiting over 2 hours to check in. The front desk people are as rude as I've ever seen too. The condo itself was dirty. It needs a full day deep clean. It looks like a fraternity just moved out. Drinks splattered on kitchen walls, crooked pictures, all the walls and baseboards need painted, the front door was dirty with paint peeling off, the balcony floor was filthy, and just overall, it was a dirty condo. We were not pleased. The best thing about the place is the pool still. You can't beat it. For the money we spent though, it's not nearly worth it. This condo should be half the price to make it more worthwhile. That or it needs to actually look like it did in the photos, and it doesn't. We won't stay here again.

  Owner response: Shores of panama had a turnover of front desk management that was a nightmare during that time. The on site cleaning was called and tried at least three times to address the cleaning complaint as quick as possible. The front door is exposed to the outside and I must admit the door can not be kept perfectly clean. It as well as other doors exposed directly to the weather look dirty. During peak summer deep cleans as well as balcony cleans are tougher. The condo pictures are of the unit and it is cleaned by the owner as much as possible, however during peak summer this condo is rented every week. If there is a cleaning issue the cleaners are called back but were not successful in getting access to work with the unhappy client. It is with regret that anyone was not happy with the cleanliness of the unit or the resort. Unhappy renters are taken seriously but this did not work out.

  The pool was great! There was plenty for the grandkids to do. The elevators on the other hand were very slow and crowed. Need more luggage carts! The condo itself was ok. The furnishings and fixtures were updated but the condo could have been much cleaner. Bought cleaning supplies to clean all the counters and glass top tables that looked like they had been flipped over instead of cleaned. Bathroom towels were dingy and had dirty spots on them, after a washing in hot water they came clean. The mattress that was suppose to be "so comfy" was like sleelping in a hole, you rolled to the center. The reserved parking space that came with the condo was great, very close to the elevator, and one of the reasons we booked this condo. But after our 5th day someone else started parking in the reserved spot. We told security and the front desk twice about it, then finally they told us that the owners of the condo let the president of the condo association park there. Owners should have informed us this may happen. Despite the condo problems we had a wonderful vacation!

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: Our units are on the rental program at Shores with the intention of making it convenient for our guests to get service immediately if there are cleaning and linen issues. These issues were reported to the management company via email and phone calls after we were made aware on the post. I do wish the elevators and luggage carts were not an issue. They are especially frustrating on weekends and in the summer. The mattress issue was addressed immediately when we received this review. The bed frame was broken in the middle and we are getting it replaced. We make any repairs or damaged items a priority. As far as the reserved spot we do not know. We have a reserved spot and if someone was in it the front desk should have had it moved with a phone call immediately. They should have also notified us. The person that has parked in it in the past has always understood that if we have a guest in the room they do not park in the spot. This has also been addressed with management. We regret that our condo and complex were not up to par or expectations of our guest. We take it very seriously and address all issues as quickly as possible.

  Overall we would have rated our stay as good or excellent, except for the cleanliness. We were really disheartened to walk into the condo with our road weary family to find a dirty mess. The day we arrived the pool was also dirty and the hot tub was not working. We wished the window to the master bedroom opened so we could doze off to the surf, but quickly found that the noise of the music and yelling from balconies would drown out the ocean waves. But this was Spring Break...so we got used to the noise and action and the kids (3 teens) loved the big balcony and the music. It was a nice quiet place to sit in the morning and look for dolphins. GORGEOUS BEACH! Pool and hot tub were clean and running the rest of our trip. The unit was comfortable, and although we had to pick up a few things (peeler, frying pan, mop and dust pan) it suited our needs and we enjoyed a fun week in PCB! We will be coming back next year!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Owner response: Unfortunately this stay was during spring break. Missing items, cleanliness issues, and noise issues were all dealt with by us and management immediately. We have no control over most of the problems mentioned and have been dilligent in monitoring problems related to our individual unit. We have worked with subsequent guests to make sure unit was clean and well stocked when they arrived. It is very important to us that our guests have a great experience with us and Shores Of Panama Resort. Any time a guest has problems we take a personal interest in getting the issues worked out in a satisfactory manner.

  This unit is everything I could have asked for when traveling to my favorite beach. The view is amazing anytime of the day and night. I felt at home in this professionally decorated condo. The closeness of the elevator sealed the deal for me. Condo is amazing for the price.

  This is our first of many trips back to this condo! We have stayed at Shores of Panama many times and this is our first at Greg and Stephanie's condo. The condo is decorated so beautifully and it is very comfortable. The mattresses are amazing..not cheap. The view is wonderful. And yes, the condo is right around the corner from the elevator which is great for kids and seniors. Parking is reserved and very helpful. Can't wait to return!

  The condo was great with an awesome view of the pool and ocean.The complex was awsome and had several activities to choose from for the kids. Pineapple Willie's is a few feet away. Loved having the reserved parking spot and yes, it is right off from the elevators. Our 18 yr old daughter and her best friend loved the bunk area -- said it was like old slumber party times. We got to meet owners Greg and Stephanie during our trip. Great folks!! Thanks for everything and look forward to staying with you all again.

  Like staying in this unit very, very much. Close to elevator for unloading when arrive and loading car when have to drag ourselves away! View is incredible anytime night or day. Owners did everything possible to accomodate our booking at this amazing complex. The music in pool area adds so much to the ambience there. There is no prettier beach in all the world, anywhere! We've found several local restaurants in area that we enjoy immensely.

  We stayed in this condo for the last two spring breaks and absolutely loved it! The condo along with the resort is fantastic. The owners are a delight to work with as well. We look forward to Spring Break 2010 and a return to our favorite condo at Shores of Panama!

Additional information about rental rates

There is an amenity fee that is paid to the Shores of Panama in person by the guest. This gives you wristbands to use the pool area. The amenity fee is $28 plus tax per day for the condo. This fee can be paid anytime once you are on property if you wish to gain access to the pool area.

Fees:

• Cleaning: $80 + tax
• Refundable Damage Deposit: $200
• Tax Rate 12.5%

Cancellation policy:

The rental agreement must be accepted, completed by guest, and emailed back to the management company to have the reservation confirmed.

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
