Located in Seahaunts, a gated, family-friendly beachside community, guests have three points of direct beach access and can enjoy the heated pool and jacuzzi located 50 yards from the front door at the adjacent San Remo.
Perfect for a large family or even two, the Salty Dawg can comfortably sleep 8 people. The ground floor is perfect for children or a separate family, with an extra large bedroom containing two full beds, a full bath, and a separate sitting area/play room with a Microsoft X-box. On the main level you’ll find a large kitchen, a comfortable living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a half bath, and a balcony perfect for hanging out and watching the sunset. The top level has a master suite with a king bed and a balcony offering spectacular views of the Gulf, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a full size bath.
This spacious unit has been recently renovated and is tastefully designed and decorated. Features include wireless high-speed internet, three TV's equipped with DVD players, washer and dryer, gas grill on a private back deck, and parking for two cars. Located south of 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, you will be within a short walk of the 13-mile bike/walking path, Gulf Place restaurants and shops, and South Walton’s favorite seafood restaurant, Goatfeather’s.

Two families co-own this beach house. We each have 2 young children and we enjoy visiting our home away from home every time we stay at the Salty Dawg!
Why the Owner Chose Sea Haunts
We fell in love with the Sea Haunts townhome complex...the size of the unit, beachfront location and gulf views sold us immediately. The complex is gated and provides ample room for our children to safely ride their bikes and play outside while we watch from the balcony. This part of the gulf is never crowded...it's perfect for families to enjoy the beach!
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
The Salty Dawg is located on the south side of 30A in a beachfront townhome complex with three points of direct access to the beach. Goatfeathers and Gulf Place are each a short walk on the paved bike path that goes the length of 30A. Residents will enjoy a the best of both worlds... a quiet, serene community with only 32 units in the Sea Haunts complex, yet all the fun a larger complex would offer with free access to a pool and hot tub. When a break from the sun is needed, the Destin outlet stores are a 15 minute drive, as are several golf courses.

I have stayed at the Salty Dawg several times now and can't say enough. The owners are wonderful people and keep their unit up beautifully. It's clear they take pride in the unit. It's beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Some features that stick out to me are, well, the view for #1. I get to see the gulf in all its splendor each time I wake up. The main floor deck is very relaxing and makes unwinding a breeze. Then, if I need a nap, I head down to the low level bedroom which has no windows and is whisper quiet. Since the sun gets up at 5:30am in the summertime, this is especially a good thing. :-) I highly recommend this little piece of paradise!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We loved Sea Haunts and Santa Rosa Beach. Beautiful views of the gulf and professionally landscaped area. Great pool. The thing we loved most was NO HIGH-RISE CONDOS. Santa Rosa Beach and Sea Haunts are great for relaxing and chilling, but entertainment and adventure are not far away.
