Beautiful 2,800 square foot open floor plan cabin on the Nevada side of the state line 200 feet from a private sandy beach and pier. Nestled in the pines, the open beams and wood surfaces throughout gives the 'Old Tahoe' feeling and warm, cozy comfort for up to 14 guests. A large rock fireplace in the great room, the fully equipped kitchen and the loft game room affords relaxed activity and gathering areas.
This quiet residential neighborhood is adjacent to the historic Zephyr Cove Lodge and Resort for access to the M.S. Dixie paddle-wheeler, jet ski and boat rentals, cafes and gift shops, beach volleyball, horseback riding, snowmobiling, sport fishing, parasailing, hiking and much more. Casinos and ski areas are less than 4 miles away.

This is the second year we spent our Thanksgiving weekend in Smokey Joe's with the entire family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin. It is comfortable, clean, well stocked, and in a perfect location. We love walking to the beach. We are so disappointed that it is booked for Thanksgiving 2012. We are hoping to stay in Smokey Joe's again this summer. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful cabin.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

As written in the guest book: Pirate Convention (second annual) minutes- Meeting called to order by Captain Pegleg. Killer Kathleen read the treasurer's report and then we all went to the beach. Was there supposed to be more?... What a a lovely home - and it was indeed our home for this week. I was expecially grateful for the cleanliness. One of the nicest places I have stayed in and made our visit to Zephyr Cove even more enjoyable. Thank goodness we didn't have to sleep on the pirate ship again.
