Location: Roseburg, Southern Oregon, Oregon, USA (Located 25 Miles NW of Roseburg and 60 Miles SW of Eugene.)

Located on the Main Umpqua River in one of the best fishing/hunting spots around and great wine tasting tours. This fully furnished home has everything including a huge deck for entertaining, barbeque or just watching the river go by. Includes dining room, equipped kitchen, master suite, family room, living room and more! A pet may be considered with an extra deposit. Perfect for family reunions, plenty of parking, and room for RV's. Such a convenient location to all sorts of activities. Fishing on site, a boat launch is 1/4 mile away or call a local guide for a drift boat adventure. A 45 minute drive to the famous Oregon Dunes, Reedsport is the closest town on the coast, but another hour and you are at famous Bandon or Gold Beach for a Jet boat ride up the Rogue river.

If you are a hunter we are located at the junction of the Siuslaw, Melrose and Tioga units for elk, deer, bear, cougar, or bird hunting. There is an abundance of wild turkeys here too.
Any time of year the fish are biting, Salmon in the fall, Steelhead in the winter and spring, Salmon and Schad in the spring and Striped Bass all summer long!

  • Took the Family to Oregon for a family vacation and found a beautiful place to stay. Right next to the river, quiet, secluded. The house is in excellent condition, very clean, very roomy. The roads to the home are all in excellent condition (as really were every road we drove upon around the area. Nicely located, we went to the coast, some lakes, some rivers, hiked a bunch of trails to waterfalls and other points of interest. We saw wildlife all over the place, and at the house we were lucky enough to see Deer and Wild Turkeys in the yard, early morning on different days. Truly beautiful and at a price that can't be beat. Honestly, why stay at a hotel, once you rent a home like this, you'll never go back. The owners were very pleasant to work with, and everything was arranged with no problems whatsoever.   • Our time at the home was wonderful. It was perfect for the girls getaway that our family needed. Marc & Diana could not have made the home more accommodating or comfortable, we were all a little sad to leave! We had an infant and 8-year-old with us, but never felt like it was more they (or we) could handle. I highly recommend spending some time here & working with the Woodwards.

  • We have just returned from on vacation at this property. We had family from Ca., Minn., and Florida that all came for a family reunion. We fished,we tubed down the rapids and kyaked. The yard is large enough that we set up a volleyball net and had a great time. My Uncle and Aunt drove to the house everyday from Roseburg and enjoyed just sitting on the deck watching all of the activities. The house is set up for large groups and we certainly had plenty of room.

  • Great house for our family reunion. Beautiful deck overlooking river and grounds was the perfect place for all our family meals. We enjoyed playing games on the grass, playing in the river, riding bikes, and wine touring.

  • We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. Swimming and fishing in the river was awesome. The house was well-equipped. Loved playing in grass area and hanging out on the huge porch. Very glad we chose this house for part of our vacation.

  • This was the very first time we've ever rented another home for a vacation. We had a fabulous time and made a lot of great memories. The location was close enough and our stay long enough to break it up with a few day trips to the oceanside and one to the Wildlife Safari in Winston. We had plenty of time to relax and do whatever, which is just what we needed. The river was perfect and exciting enough for our small family. Maybe next time we'll try fishing! The house suited us well. There was more than enough room and it was nice to have such a well supplied kitchen. The weather got a little warm toward the end of our stay (upper 80s, low 90s by the afternoon), which was fine for water play but by the time we got back to the house, it was pretty toasty inside with no A/C. Fortunately, the lower level stayed REALLY cool and we could go down there and spend a few hours while the upper floor cooled off.
