Hill Country Lakehouse, 100' Private Waterfront, Open Water

Year Purchased: 2006

Why the Owner Chose Burnet

We bought here because we wanted to be on the water and this lake is a constant level lake so we are never impacted by drought and the water fluctuates only about 6 inches year round. Our lakehouse is only about 1 hour from Austin in Burnet and within a short drive, there is so much to see and do in the hillcountry. We love to come here, its like being at a quiet resort when we are here and you don't ever want to leave.

The Unique Benefits at this Waterfront Home

The lot is shaded by huge mature trees, the yard is large and slopes down to the water, our kids can swim in the shallow water near shore and with docks on both sides there is plenty of protection from boat traffic. I built a large deck across the back of the home where you can just sit and enjoy the water views and see the boats go by. Or you can do the same from the waterfront dock. When you're tired of just lounging...you just hop in your boat in the boat lift and go for a spin around the lake.

Owner's Map of Burnet

Hi, we live in Austin for 10 years and owned our lakehouse for 3 summers now. Best decision we ever made!
