The living room is an open space furnished with an antique english style table. This spot is the perfect location where to enjoy your meals, drink a good glass of wine or simply relax reading or watching tv.On the opposite side of the living room you’ll find a sofa bed (with a double bed). This solution would be perfectly suitable for a family with children, allowing them to stay in the heart of Rome at a reasonable and affordable price.
The kitchnette is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a toster, a tea maker and a coffee machine for espresso or american coffee. This way you could maintain your eating habits when travelling and have your favourite breakfast just like at home.
The bedroom is very cosy and warm due to a comfortable double bed with a hand-made engraved oriental bedhead, a wooden bookcase and an entire wall devoted to the wardrobe. The apartment faces a very quiet private inside court and therefore is very silent. La Scala gives you the unique opportunity to live your vacation in a peaceful apartment located in the middle of a very lively neighbourhood.
The bathroom with a comfortable shower has walls covered with ceramic tiles depicting an exotic subject. The mirror and the ceiling are embellished with wooden frames.
La Scala apartment is part of a building dating back to the age of the Pope’s kingdom. Traces of the ancient period can be found on the main door embellished with ashlar-work. The apartment is in Via della Scala that is a very lively and busy street because of its typical shops, pubs and restaurants.
Consider also that the apartment is located one block away from the marvellous square of Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest in town. Just a stone thrown from Piazza Trilussa and the pedestrian bridge of Ponte Sisto that leads to Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona, is the ideal location to explore the center of the eternal city. All the major historical sites and landmarks are within a twenty minutes walk.
